Like so many others here should be negative 5 stars. Absolutely the worst I have ever been treated at a medical facility in all of my 67 yrs. and 40 yrs. on Maui! The office manager(Susana Crow))has been extremely rude to me many many times and dismissed me for no reason(she couldn't give one bc she doesn't have one!) after I have been a client for over 13 yrs.! No loyalty and no thanks for the tens of thousands of dollars I've spent at their medical practice. Unbelievable that they continue to do business with this kind of behavior. Dr. Crow(her husband)told me he would fix my nose that has looked crooked ever since he fixed my deviated septum 13 yrs. ago. He performed an 'experimental' procedure on my nose and destroyed my right ear after taking 'collagen' from the back of the ear(I was in excruciating pain in my ear for two months afterwards). The outcome: my nose looked way worse than it did before the procedure. He said that he would try to fix it so I went back in and he tried to shave off the bump that I now have on the top of my nose but it did not fix the problem and I still have a big bump on my nose. When I called the office his wife Susana(also the office mgr.)told me that she was dismissing me and that I could not see my doctor. When I asked her why I was being dismissed she would not tell me why but just that she was 'dismissing me'. When I ran into Dr. Crow at Costco I told him the situation and he told me to call the front office and make an appointment. I told him that his wife is barring my access to see him and she is preventing me from making an appointment. Talk about unprofessional and a definitive example of medical malpractice! Here is another example: My last visit I went in for a 'touch up' on my botox(big regret)before my last birthday and told Dr. Crow I only needed a 'touch up' of botox on my forehead and ONLY my forehead! I bruise easily and I wanted to avoid obvious botox bruising all over my face bc I had 3 social events that weekend and I ALWAYS have some big and noticeable botox bruising on my forehead and around my eyes when he is done. He insisted that I needed more and proceeded to keep injecting me with botox all over my face in spite of the fact that I made it VERY CLEAR to him that I only had a small amount of money to spend that day and I only wanted a small touch up on my forehead. In the past Dr. Crow had even given me free botox like for my birthday so I just assumed that he wanted me to have a little extra bc it was my birthday. Afterwards I went to the bathroom and I couldn't believe all of the bruises! I wish I had taken a pic! I had 4 big bruises on my forehead and one big one right underneath my left eye and a big one right on the top above the right eye. When I got to the front desk to pay his wife told me that I owe them $350! I was stunned! I was very clear that I only had less than $200 and that's all I wanted but they both COERCED me into being injecting with even more botox than ever! Not only did I have 6 big blue very noticeable bruises all over my face but I also had an allergic reaction to the botox bc he injected way too much into my forehead. My foreheadhead was itching like crazy for a solid month afterwards and it looked 'swollen' with the botox toxin. Not only did I miss my friends funeral but I also missed three events that weekend and the bruising too almost two weeks to go away. Im not making any of this up. I wish I was. I have never been treated so disrespectfully in all of my years. I am still in shock and still traumatized by their treatment of me. I could go list other examples like the fact that they are mask nazi's and would not honor my medical exemption given to me by my doctor who does not give those out except in extreme circumstances. Not only would they not honor my mask exemption but Dr. Crow told me that my doctor was a 'LIAR'! Unbelievable! I believe in karma and so I am only posting this reveiw to warn others so they don't go thru what I went thru. I am not a vindictive person and I have never sued anybody in my whole life(67 yrs)!. I also gave them months to call me and try to make things right but they just totally ignored me and my calls for help so this was a 'last resort' for me. read more

This review has the intention of clarifying some of the negative reviews of our practice. I am part of the staff working for Advanced Pacific which includes established doctors: Dr. D. Crow, Dr. S. Sussman, Dr. A. Don, and Audiologist, Dr. A. Orr, along with three rotating locums: Dr. M. McKenney, Dr. N. Low, and Dr. J. Hill. These last three doctors (locums) have been coming from the mainland and off island for more than 10 years. The practice provides these doctors to help better serve the community while trying to give faster service for new patients, tourists or emergencies. We try to do our best to serve immediately, but, We Are Not an Urgent Care and We Are Not an E.R.. There is a shortage of our specialists on this island and it is very difficult recruiting specialists for long term due to distance from families and substantially lower reimbursements compared to the mainland. Our clinic is never able to have 3 physicians working on the same day. When we are able to offer same day service, we have NEVER charged as an emergency. Have in mind, that even veterinarians charge for emergency visits. In response to Tia, please make an educated comment before you write a statement misleading the public. The reason Dr. Crow is currently only seeing new patients who are surgery patients is NOT because of $$ as you wrote, it is because he is the only doctor in our practice who goes to the hospital. Therefore, in our practice, he must limit his new patients to surgery patients as there are only so many hours in the day. He already sees the maximal number of his regular patients on his office days. He works 24/7 for his clinic patients, hospital patients, and hospital on call patients. Thus, the staff works very hard to try to get him home before 8pm if possible. Therefore, we require all NEW patients who think they need surgery to see one of our other outstanding, board certified, ENT's first. Frequently they can correct a problem and avoid a surgery. They are excellent. Now, for your information, financial reimbursement is better seeing patients in clinic, and especially NEW patients in clinic, than it is doing surgery. Therefore, Dr. Crow misses those charges. He also is reimbursed at a lower rate in clinic because he does not see new patients. Bringing doctors to assist the practice is for your information Tia, very costly to our practice. It is not a tax deduction as you try to mislead the public. Dr. M. McKenney has been asked to come back over and over due to the requests of the many patients that he sees when he comes. In general, the doctor will always try to minimize costs when they feel procedures are unnecessary and do not alter patient care. Sometimes patients will insist on unnecessary procedures that become very costly for answers that the doctor, who has a great deal of experience, can give without having to perform the expensive procedures. In response to complaints from patients who are NO SHOWS to any of our doctors. We DO CALL reminding patients 48 hours in advance, and we ask that they call to cancel. Other practices charge patients who don't show, WE currently DO NOT. The staff calls the patient and informs them of the status. It is a courtesy call; patients have the responsibility to remember their appointments. We will let the patients know how many times they have been NO SHOWS when they call demanding to be seen immediately. Sad situation, when there are many patients waiting to be seen while others are No Shows more than once. Very little consideration on their part toward the office and other patients. In the end, we have, at Advanced Pacific, thousands of patients who really enjoy coming to our office and have no complaints. Very few of them have the time to search the internet and write reviews. They do show their appreciation with their frequent cards, treats and flowers we get throughout the year. read more

My husband and I were so fortunate to receive the the Audiology services of Dr. Amanda Seeley, AuD, CCC-A, F-AAA. What a professional in every way!! Dr. Seeley explained the process of the Audiology Screening in detail. Following our test, she patiently explained the results. Dr. Seeley answered our many questions and spent time with us delineating our hearing aid choices. Dr.Seeley has knowledge beyond her years in the Audiology field. She is trustworthy, honest and very professional. Her background in the NYC area enhances her ability to speak with experience. Maui is sure lucky to find a JEM in Dr. Seeley!! To the review dated June 3, 2020. There is a miscommunication. No Show Fees have been removed during the months of COVID-19. We have been opened ALL through COVID-19 to serve our patients and new patients needing services. Patients are still expected to call and cancel their appointments in a timely manner if they are not coming to their scheduled appointments. There is a lot more that happened with your particular situation that has not been told in your review. Please understand that our billing has also been delayed during those months. read more
