During my healing process I started utilizing their massage and adjustment therapies as well. I suffer from a severe case of tendonitis and finally decided to give the Shock Wave a chance. WOWWWW. Talk about intense. The process was not the most comfortable, but I could feel the pain dissapating as we continued through the process. They truly made me feel so comfortable and let me take breaks as I needed. I noticed a difference as soon as we were done. It has been a little over a week since my first shock wave treatment and I feel such an incredible difference! The burning pain has subsided immensely and i feel my strength a bit more. So I have 3 healthcare insurances. The last 2 insurances are Medicare and Tricare for Life. I'm…read morevery specific when I give my insurances on how they were billed etc. On July 14, 2023 and again on July 24,2023 I stopped into their billing office and told them if they billed correctly I should not receive a bill because Tricare for Life is a wrap around for Medicare and whatever Medicare doesn't cover Tricare for Life covers 100%. When Tricare for Life is billed either correctly or incorrectly I get notified staying they covered xyz amount or they state due to x probably they didn't pay and I'm not responsible for the bill because of their error. ortho one states I owe $283.61 and never billed Tricare for Life and since we're now rolling into 3 years after the fact----Tricare for Life will probably tell them to go kick rocks. I have NEVER received any correspondence about this from Tricare for Life which means they didn't bill. What's sad is these places are notorious for partial billing and sticking the patient with what's left over-----why accept $75 from Tricare when I can bill the patient for a higher amount of $284.61 I've explained it to them repeatedly and yet they still have not billed Tricare for life and yes they accept Tricare for life. Sad really. I currently have a text stating I owe $284.61 and it's their error not mine

From the young ladies at the desk (Fiona and Lacy) who greet you upon entry and process you in, to the therapists who always meet you on time for your appointment and escort you to the physical therapy area. Had a referral on discharge from the Rehab Hospital. Waited a week for a call which we were told…read morewould come. It didn't. When we called they claimed they didn't have a referral. Started over. Established PT care in Dublin and in the end they were great. HOWEVER we also had an OT referral and they didn't offer that service in Dublin so we were directed to call their Hilliard office. Could not get an eval there for several more weeks but we accepted the appointment. We arrived for that appointment and were told there was no appointment in their system nor did they have a referral. Apparently the office in Hilliard does not communicate with their sister office in Dublin. We were told we'd have to reschedule an eval appointment in Hilliard...in another few weeks!! We scheduled that appointment however cancelled it. We don't trust the care at an agency that has so little regard for its clients from the beginning.

In short, I was experiencing a stabbing pain in my heal and ankle, accompanied by limited range of motion; it was oftentimes extremely difficult to walk without pain, especially first thing in the morning and throughout the day. Finally, after six weeks of physical therapy, pain mitigation strategies, and diligent home exercise program execution, I no longer experience pain in my foot and ankle when I wake up. And she showed me some exercises that I think were useful in strengthening my core. The receptionists are relatively kind and the therapists seem really nice (although my therapist was usually late to start our appointments). After the first few visits, though, I didn't find it very useful. And my pain never went away. I should warn, I'm not a big believer in the utility of physical therapy so if you are, you should take my review with a grain of salt. I've had quite a few experiences with physical therapy and I feel like it is limited in how much improvement it can bring to your pain/relief. OSU health centers offers financial assistance for physical therapy, so that's exciting. Parking is easy and free. Finding this particular center from the garage is a pain, though.
