She had been going here for years and swore by them. So, I made an appointment and kept it! And, you know - here it is about 5 months later and I'm really glad I did. I met with Dr. Cayer for an initial assessment which included x-rays and thermo scans. From here, he sat down and showed my where my "problem" areas were and shared with me a treatment plan. It seemed like an aggressive plan - 4 weeks with 3 visits per week, 4 weeks at 2 per week, and then onto a maintenance plan of once a week Now, I must admit a couple things. One - getting "cracked" scared the crap out of me. And, two - I wasn't really sure I believe it would help. Well - the getting "cracked" part is still very weird to me, but I definitely believe it works. My back is SO MUCH better. I have bad days here and there, but they are few and far between. And, the pain doesn't stop me from doing anything anymore. I look forward to my weekly visit - and it only takes 5 minutes. In and out! I've also used their massage therapy services and Mindy has given me the best massages I've had - at a much lower price point than any of the fancy spas I've visited in the past. Definitely give this place a try! My only regret is that I didn't come sooner.

The actual PT care was fine, but after 3 sessions, I felt like everything I was doing there could have been done at home (no specialized equipment was used yet). When the charges came back at around $300/visit (roughly an hour long each), I could not afford to keep going. I had no idea it was going to cost that much per visit. I would say that if you have really good insurance or a low deductible, go for it because the staff are friendly and seem to really know their stuff. But, If you have a high deductible or no insurance, I'd seek elsewhere, as they were not transparent at all about their charges.

He would flip a sign on each piece to show it had been cleaned. Bryan is my physical therapist. Very friendly. He spent a good deal of time getting to the root of the injury and finding the right ways to strengthen and improve my shoulder. He gave me home exercises to do until I return and advised to not over do it.

He treats the whole patient, making you calm with chit chat while you wait. He does a heat and stim. Treatment to complete the appointment, which always leaves me feeling relaxed and calm. The waiting room has a massage chair, which allows you to maximize your wait time. I have referred all my broken friends to him to repair and everyone that has entered his office has come back with a positive report. If you are looking for whole body care, then this is your chiropractor!

They are located a little off the beaten path - in one of the building near the Portland Complex by the narrow gauge railway. When you walk it, you immediately feel a sense of calmness, as the environment just exudes peace. I checked in at reception 15 minutes prior to my appointment (per their request) and filled out a brief first time visitor form which allowed me to share some of the particular aches and pains that I'd like addressed during my massage. I was greeted by my masseuse, Nancy (also one of the owners), and we walked back to a nice room with a big window allowing for a lot of natural light. We chatted briefly about what I was looking for out of my massage and discussed key pain points for her to work on. And then, for the next 60+ minutes, I was in a perfect state of relaxation. At one point, I caught myself dozing off. This is not to say that the massage was light, as Nancy did a great job applying just the right amount of pressure, checking in at about the 5 minute mark and then letting me fall into my own zen-like state for the remainder of the time. My appointment was with at 11 AM and while it did start a little late, my massage still went the full hour. I'm looking forward to returning here and taking a full yoga class. I'm excited about this as they have a small space and limit the number. The idea of a more individual yoga experience is very appealing compared to the packed yoga studios I have visited in the past.
