I was initially told by her that it must be my allergies and then that it was thyroid-related causes. After seeking care from a more experienced double board-certified plastic surgeon & ENT, I was informed that the nodules were FULL of pus and bacteria, located on/around the permanent sutures. I was also made aware that the nodule that was distanced lower than the rest, had a free-hanging suture that was attached to nothing. I was advised that what he found was consistent with infection related to the permanent internal sutures Michelle placed in me and was likely due to the sutures being unsterile/compromised during surgery. This was an extremely painful and distressing experience that significantly impacted my quality of life for OVER a year. When I reached out to her office regarding this, I was met with denial, zero accountability and was threatened multiple times if I ever post about this online. I strongly encourage anyone considering cosmetic surgery to thoroughly research their provider and ensure they are board-certified in PLASTIC surgery. Unfortunately, a cosmetic surgeon who is a "Doctor of Dental Surgery" is a very considerable, and concerning difference.

Based on my personal journey, I cannot recommend undergoing plastic surgery with Dr. Michelle. Years ago, I underwent breast augmentation with Dr. Michelle and was initially satisfied with the results. However, in 2022, I returned for a breast reduction and, prior to surgery, inquired about a small amount of liposuction specifically for my knees. Unfortunately, the outcome was devastating. As the pictures show, significant fat was removed from my legs--far beyond what I requested--while the area I was concerned about (my knees) received minimal attention. This procedure has left me deeply TRAUMATIZED with my appearance, and I feel my body has been irreversibly altered. When I raised my concerns with Dr. Michelle, her solution was to offer a revision surgery at a significantly reduced cost (operating cost only), which I feel does not fully address or take accountability for the initial outcome or would I go back to someone that has done so much damage to my body. Several of them made comments asking if my surgeon was new, if this was their first day, if this was their first time doing this procedure, if they just "winged it" without taking any measurements, etc. I've now had multiple other surgeons offer to do my revision for free because of how poorly my procedure was done the first time! I trusted Dr. Flint with my self-esteem, my health, and my life. I repeatedly voiced my concerns to her, and in response, I was horribly mistreated. Dr. Flint insisted that I had unrealistic expectations, that I was being difficult, and that the very obvious mistakes I was seeing were not actually there. She even went so far as to complain about me to the nurses in the hallway right outside of my room. Dr. Flint watched me cry during my follow-up appointments as I expressed how disappointed and mutilated I felt...and she had no empathy for me. She has taken absolutely no responsibility for her mistakes, nor has she made any effort to amend them. Dr. Flint was dismissive, arrogant, cold, and just mean to me from the moment I met her to our last appointment where I left crying and decided to never come back. I thought I could handle her horrible bedside manner because she seemed like a competent surgeon. But I never would've imagined I would end up like this, and dealing with Dr. Flint's contempt whilst experiencing the emotional devastation of a botched procedure made everything much, much worse. I would have more grace for her if she had met me with empathy instead of cruelty. I would not recommend Dr. Flint to anyone. If you're looking for a surgeon, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I don't think Dr. Flint deserved the trust I gave her, and I certainly don't think she deserves your trust.
