The unending laughter and joking around by the front office is a complete disgrace to the profession. I see people scared, wondering about test results and these clowns act like they are at the fairgrounds. They need to replace half the staff at least. read more

I should have waited with my last review because after waiting at the facility for an hour, they informed me they do not perform the type of x-ray I needed, which was stated on the paperwork I handed in person I sent electronically and I selected when selecting a site. The Young lady who checked me in read my paperwork the actual physical order and also was aware they had sent someone else to Pomona Square for the same x-ray prior but they tell me at 11:10 AM. I can have it done at Pomona Square but I have to be there by 11:30 to say I was so disappointed in advanced radiology the lack of awareness when if reading the documents sent electronically it was just a hot mess at my expense and time. read more

First the staff was great from start to finish. The woman who did my test was fantastic. Walked me through the entire process and always had a genuine smile on her face. Wait was not long at all. Took me right in for my scheduled appointment. There was a lot of parking available. Although my appointment was early morning so with the other businesses not sure how congested it gets later in the day. read more

TERRIBLE BUSINESS, go somewhere else for your scans. They are not the only option. Scheduling, Billing and the Individual Offices are all run and managed separately and do not communicate. In summary - they bait and switched me. Took my money. Performed the wrong scan. Pretended to resolve it. Told me to try again. Business is run by incompetent people. Scheduling was able to get me in the same day. Ran my insurance on the phone, said it was accepted, and went right in. Too good to be true. The location said they needed authorization from the insurance company and even better, the scheduling people don't have the ability to do it. So I was forced to either miss my appointment that was just scheduled or pay out of pocket. Of course I was already there so I paid out of pocket and as soon as I finish they tell me oh it was approved. Go figure. Next, My script was for 3T MRI, they performed the wrong MRI. I had to argue for a new scan and it was determined a recall and they'd do the correct one for new charge. Weeks later they call to tell me my appt is scheduled at a time they don't offer and I needed to come NOW before they close. Ok... I'm on my way to the appointment and they call again to tell me I need a new script because it's not a recall. I go home and call the "scheduling department" and they tell me there's no notes from the call with the person who helped me determine the recall and reschedule it. Again, they recommend I get a new script and cannot help me. Their efforts to resolve were to speak to management at a site that was never involved with any of this. That site of course just read back what was on file. I had to educate the agent she needed to speak to the site that was actually involved with the incident. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with this business. read more

I had an appointment for a mammogram on March 17. I received reminder texts three times before the appointment. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment time and was told that my appointment was canceled and I should've gotten a text. I showed the front desk person the text that I had received that morning, which was a reminder about my appointment. The young lady at the front desk was very sweet and felt bad about the situation. I made another appointment for today, one week later. I just received a text telling me that my appointment for today is canceled because of a staffing problem. Two appointments, two weeks in a row. I think this is indicative of a management problem. read more

I like this location for its convenience, ample parking and friendly staff. Linda who does the mammograms is fabulous. She is efficient, no nonsense and the procedure is pain free. read more

Scheduled for a CT with Contrast which means you get to drink the nasty Barium shake before going to the imaging center. I arrived ahead of schedule and the place was a zoo. I was finally sent back to get my procedure done and two (2) technicians were unable to get a simple IV started. Left arm, right arm, left hand, right hand - no joy. After the eighth stick I called time out. Advanced Radiology needs to ensure that they have well trained, competent staff to perform the exams they offer. Waste of time, trouble and money - not to mention my pain and suffering. Thinking about calling Siaonitz and Kirk to sue these yahoos! read more

Unfortunately, I'm afraid Advanced Radiology has gotten to big for their britches. They could not be bothered to contact my insurance company to confirm coverage. I've used their services for my mammograms for years, but when I called today to schedule my annual screening, I was told there would be a $100 copay with my insurance that would be collected up front which I knew was incorrect. After spending at least 15 minutes with AI to finally get to speak with a live agent who told me I would need to call my insurance company to confirm eligibility. When I called my insurance company, they confirmed that I am eligible and that I was covered 100% - no copay. They told me Advanced would simply need to call and provide my member ID number to confirm coverage. When I called Advanced back, again another 15 minutes to get to a live person, they said they would not call for confirmation and I would need to call yet again to get a reference number from my insurance company. I've decided to use a different provider since Advanced simply could not be bothered to call my insurance provider for confirmation just like all of my other medical providers do without hesitation. Unfortunate, but enough is enough. read more

The waiting room was rather on the large side. Too large for me. I like smaller offices. This was my very first time at this location. It was easy to find. Many stores to eat and shop in the surrounding area. Check in was easy. It didn't take very long to be called to the back. My procedure took about fifteen minutes. I had an ultrasound. Staff was nice but, I don't think this would be my choice next time only because it was so busy. read more

Called office for intake, gave all info. said they'd call me right back. Emailed me 2 hours later. Called back right away at 230. "We can get you into a 3pm appointment if you have your doctor resend the order with STAT priority." Leave right away, call doctor, beg them to send. They send. I get to AR. Wait 20 min. just for them to say a radiologist needs to be here for this. Tried to reschedule me in 2 days for my ruptured Achilles. No thanks, never go here. Disorganized, no one cares. read more

I've attended here twice for simple x-rays, which they will only do as walk in appointments. They seem to think that everyone has 3 hours to spare. While the staff are professional and friendly the process is plodding and disrespectful of their patient's time. Take lunch, knitting, widgets, the novel you are writing. read more

Even though I walked in and was not serviced due they do not mammograms on weekends, I was treated fairly and with dignity. The lovely receptionist was easy to talk to and helpful. She was abke to assist us in every way and made me feel my situation was important. If I need any other procedures I would definitely come back due to this young lady's warm spirit. read more

I just walked in for my appointment and I texted that I was here from the lobby. It was an option due to covid precautions. However, I did not get an automatic response as I was expecting, so I went and sat in the lobby. I then received a text to come in and I responded "Thanks I am here." I didn't receive a text back so I waited for a few minutes but went up to station 3 (older woman, short white hair) to ask what I should do (not aggressively or impatiently or anything) just because I was confused (and years ago waited hours for an X-ray because I was forgotten about, so I wanted to avoid that). Listen. I am as nice as I can be to people because I worked in customer service for so long. I am never rude or honestly even assertive. I basically didn't even get my question out before this woman absolutely humiliated me in a louder than necessary voice in front of the entire lobby. People stared. She talked to me like I was a moron, which is always so fun for someone like me who has some struggles with speaking. She said, "I'm not going to text you anymore!" as if I had texted her anything other than "here" and "thanks I am inside." It was completely out of the blue and unhinged. I look young for my age but I am actually a 30-something professional. I haven't been chastised like that since I was a little child at catholic school taught by nuns. On my way out, I saw her being perfectly pleasant to another patient. I always give people the benefit of the doubt but for the life of me I don't understand why she unleashed on me first thing in the morning. They weren't even very busy. I am not one to write bad reviews, and I try to give people grace for their bad days, but this was so unprofessional and rude that I have to say something. No one deserves to be treated like this, especially as a full grown adult. My guess is that she may have thought she could get away with it because I look so young/can pass for college-aged. Sincerely, if you are hanging on by that thin of a thread, seek help. Don't take it out on random people. read more

Terrible communication. The scheduling people don't know what is going on and then when I got there I waited an hour before being told I could reschedule for my doctor to provide a different order. If the scheduling person knew what they were doing, this wouldn't have happened. And if advanced radiology actually contacted my doctor before my appointment, I could have had the appropriate testing. read more

This Advanced Radiology is absolutely awful if you are getting a walk in xray. I waited 30 minutes, went to the restroom for about 2 minutes, and got bumped to the bottom of the line. Because of I had to go to the restroom, I was forced to wait another hour. After 90 minutes of waiting, I was told they did not have my order despite the fact that Advanced Radiology sent me a text with my providers name saying she had sent an order for an X-ray. The front desk staff simply did not care and told me "they have no control over any of that" including the fact that apparently you are not allowed to the use the restroom. read more

I hate MRIs but the techs here are awesome. They were patient with me, I have a anxiety issues and asked that they hold my hand for a few before going into the machine..no problem...they also told me the time of each scan prior to beginning. In the past years I have really freaked out during imagery but all is well when here. Highly recommended for others who don't care for MRIs. Thank you for caring.... read more

Horrible service and zero compassion for patients. An MRI is no joke and usually ordered when there is a serious concern. My mother has claustrophobia. She was terrified of the closed MRI and waited longer than she wanted to for an open MRI appointment for her cancer screening. Her first open MRI appointment was cancelled when she arrived because "the MRI was down". It was rescheduled a few days later. Today when she arrived for her 7AM appointment, she was told that she could not have her MRI which required contrast, because there wasn't a doctor at the facility to administer the contrast. THAT is a problem with the scheduler, who should have factored that in when offering the appointment time. Mom was told she could return at 10:00 am but would have to go to the closed MRI and they would provide sedation. When she arrived back for her 10:00 am appointment, they were 30 minutes late taking her in and at that point the sedation would not have had enough time to take effect. Ultimately she had to do the closed MRI without sedation which was terrifying for her. This office is a disaster and has no compassion for patients or what they are going through when required to have a major test like an MRI. They are already on edge because of a diagnosis. Find another MRI location, this one is the pits. read more

Worst place ever!!! Went to schedule am appointment in September, couldn't get one until November. My schedule was totally booked for the date they gave me. After I spent 2 days rearranging meetings and appointments to make sure I could make that date, I called back and they said it wasn't available. Extremely upset and frustrated they then gave me a new date. I had to reschedule more meetings and appointments. Fast forward to 2 weeks before my appointment and at 6:00 on a Friday night they called and said they had to reschedule again due to them not having the injection they needed. Was told they wouldn't have it back until Dec 5. Even further upset and frustrated because I have already rearranged 2 days in my schedule and now having to wait over 2 months. I said reluctantly again that I would take the Dec 5 date. Was then told (on the same phone call) that that date wasn't available and the next available date would be Dec 9. I explained that I would be out of town on that sate and the rest on December. I told her that I have been trying to schedule this for months, I didn't have my January schedule and was afraid that at this point I wouldn't be able to get an appointment until March or April (7 or 8 months after my initial call to get it scheduled). The woman I spoke to was very apathetic and in no way had any desire to help me schedule this as soon as possible despite them not being able to get me in. I have called several other places to get this test done, but none of them so it. The customer service there has been horrendous and apathetic. I would NOT recommend anyone using Advanced Radiology. Worst experience EVER!!!!! read more

Hey, nobody enjoys going in for screenings and medical tests, but the good folks at this office made it quick and easy. I won't say it was painless, because it's a mammogram, for goodness sake. I called and made an appointment for a breast ultra sound. I had an appointment for 11:30 today. I arrived on time and went through their check in process, including giving them my prescription. At noon they called me to the front and told me that they can't do my ultra sound today, that it is a diagnostic procedure and they do those only Monday, Wednesday and Friday. After a delay i was given an appointment for tomorrow. My time was wasted. I asked to speak to a manager. Again, a delay until a manager came out. She blamed the issue on the call center and claimed the call center should not have been able to make the appointment I requested. I was as clear as I could be about what I needed when I called to make the appointment, so how did this happen? read more

Having a mammogram is a rather unnerving and daunting experience. For the people that must follow-up a mammogram with a biopsy, the experience can be terrifying. The staff, the techs, and the doctor were amazing. They were comforting, warm, reassuring, and thorough. I will NEVER go to another Advanced Radiology Center.
