Mike Smith of the company inspected the issue proposed a fix that included a drainage system and sump pump. He also assured me that they could take care what ever issue they may find down there. His estimate was very reasonable. The work started when they said it would. WHAT A WEIGHT LIFTED FROM MY SHOULDERS. When the three man crew arrived and introduced themselves and the supervisor outlined what they would be doing and when they expected to complete the job. The supervisor, Efrain, and Salvador and Eddie gave me confidence I was in great hands. Now this is something you hardly ever hear anyone say anymore; but I have never seen three men work so hard and professionally as those three did. Efrain kept me totally abreast of the progress with before and after videos. I know I have restricted myself in the past to restaurant reviews as my wife and I are foodies. But I learned there are "artists" in other fields of work as well. Swain Co and their people are one class act as ND I would hghly recommend them for any crawl space, foundation or basement issues. You won't see them advertising on TV like other companies because they don't need to. Word of mouth by previous customer service have kept them very very busy.

It…read morehas held up great and the services include changing the dehumidifier filter and verifying the sump pumps work. The sump has 3 pumps inside it. A low pump, a higher pump if that first pump fails or cant keep up. And then a higher battery backup pump. I feel great knowing that my basement will stay dry no matter what. Shane did a great job today and even called to see if he could come a few minutes early. Its money spent but insurance that my basement stays perfectly healthy.

(According to Basement Doctor brochure & video) After the installer gave me some lame excuse of why they didn't install all the products and why they did what they did it like I was some type of ignorant dumbass. The work was done in November. Now I am dealing with a huge mess in the yard and spending more money to get that fixed and on top of that, I see where they cracked the foundation/footer on the outside. Working with them was a mess. There does not seem to be a central person to answer questions. The garage never really got leveled but at least it's not supposed to sink anymore and is stable. It's supposed to be guaranteed but who knows? Don't be fooled by the ads. They make everything look nice in the ads but I still have a giant crack that's now filled with foam. I mean, it's a detached garage, but still...Do some looking around and NEVER let anyone high pressure you. Lesson learned.
