We have been trying to get our roof fixed since September! We signed a quote for a roof repair from raccoons. Last time we spoke, they said we were at the top of the list once the weather broke. It's been fine on 3 different occasions since then. I emailed them on Monday. No reply. I called today and their voicemail says to call during normal business hours. It's 9 am!!! It IS normal business hours. Odds are, we have more damage now since the snow and ice we've had. We will be hiring someone else. It's not a full roof job. It's a hole that needs fixed. My 3 experiences with Advanced Roofing were nothing but positive, so I am surprised to see negative reviews on here. They have always been very responsive, and pricing always came in under other companies. They also addressed and fixed problems from previous work done prior to my home purchases. I only interacted briefly with 1 of the 3 crews that have been to my home, and he could speak English proficient enough to communicate effectively. I highly recommend them. read more

Roofing began Friday morning with no notice of what time they'd be here. They did not complete the job and left without an update. It is now Saturday (early Sunday morning) and they were not here all day. It's raining and our roof is now leaking into our house. I tried to call but I can't even leave a message. They left trash and a ladder open on my roof. Had it been windy today, that ladder may have fallen off the roof and caused damage or injured someone. read more

We needed to replace a roof on our newly purchased home. We didnt know many roofers in the area so we went with a recommendation from our realtor (yeah she hooked it up). We got a very reasonable quote and it was actually on the low side. I was concerned especially when it comes to something this important. But we did not have much money left after buying a house so we decided to go with them. Well, the roofers came a few weeks later after faxing over a signed binding contract. They worked their arses off to get it done in 2 days. The only beefs I have was them not letting me know the day they were going to show up, the taking down of the sattelite dish and putting it back on wrong. They did come back to repair the mess a few days later. Only time will tell if the roof holds up but it looks great. read more

Unresponsive is an understatement. Do not use a "Roofing Company" that does not show up and does not answer their phone and when you are able to get through to them, they are rude. They have a PO box for an "office" as well. No thank you. read more

My husband and I bought our first home and when we were escrow we found out that the roof needed to be replaced on our house and our realtor​ used this company to inspect and give a quote. The old owners decided to go with this company. If I could go back in time I would go with someone else. We found out the day we closed that water was leaking around the flashing on our chimney. We were told that they would fix it. All I can say is that it has been nothing but a battle to get this company to do anything. The only way I can get them to do anything is if I get my realtor​ involved. They are unresponsive, rude, and extremely difficult to deal with. It has been a huge battle. They may be cheap and fast but you get what you pay for. Go elsewhere​! read more

So that I'm not discounted off the bat as a ranter, I will happily say that our roof looks lovely. If my only impression of Advanced were the final product I would be pleased with their work. However, the journey there and all of the avoidable headaches therein far outweigh the quality of the final product. Never in my life have I encountered such phenomenally poor customer service. To start, we couldn't schedule or request an installation date: the company themselves said they would call "in the next few weeks" to get something scheduled, and MONTHS passed before we heard from anyone. When we did, it was after business hours (Advanced seems to make a habit of not answering the phone during business hours, I literally NEVER connected with a human when I called the only number listed on their website), and we were told the roof would be installed the following Monday. Part of our agreement on the price quote for our roof was that my husband would be responsible for removing our old roof. He took care of that on the weekend before the Monday Advanced said they would come. That Sunday, we got 3 inches of snow. In the grand scheme of things, with the roof scheduled to be installed the next day that wasn't too terrible. And then Monday came, and NO ONE SHOWED UP. No phone call, no email, no text. NOTHING. So we were sitting (my husband stayed home from work to go over some details and peculiarities about the roof- fruitless...) without a roof over our heads and with three inches of snow seeping in to our home with no one answering our calls. Between the time that my husband left for work and we both returned that night the materials for the roof had been dropped off, but no one was working. Obviously we called the office, but again, no one answered. Luckily a group showed up the next day, and after three days (again with no communication) we had our roof on. Three days where the people installing our roof left their trucks in our driveway without asking. Three days where materials left behind by the crew weren't cleaned up. Three days where we were never told when or if people would be coming to work on our house. Three days during which our house developed two leaks. Three days after which nails and debris were left all over our yard (we have a toddler and a dog...). What we were told would be a one day project turned into an entire week where my husband had to do half of the work himself. And I probably wouldn't have even written a review, but the crew took my husband's $200 ladder with them when they left, and they still haven't returned it... So. If you don't care how you get there, Advanced installs a nice looking roof. That, I'll give them credit for. If you're looking for anything above that- keep shopping. Save yourself the stress. read more

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've been trying for 6 months to get them to do the repair they quoted when we bought our home. Each time I call back to follow up and ask why I haven't heard anything, they act like it's the first time I called. Go with another company. This one will be nothing but a headache. read more

i used these people 2 1/2 years ago...and have been dealing with leaks every since. Do not use this company Advanced Roof, jason carrico. They do not back up their work. Have written the GAF certification and have yet to hear back. We had a full tear-off and roof replacement done by Advanced 4 years ago. We thought that the roof looked good, but the workers left a terrible mess of old shingles, nails, and empty water bottles all over the property and landscaping. After we called to complain they came back and half-heartedly cleaned up. They also left a dumpster in our driveway for several days, blocking one of our cars from leaving the garage. They almost blocked us in on their first day of work since they didn't call before coming and just began getting to work. Some of their bigger equipment also did minor damage to our fence. It just seemed as though they had little regard for our property or us as homeowners. They did not communicate well with us to tell us that the gutters needed replacing; instead they put them back up all bent and crooked, and when questioned, we were told that the gutter installer wouldn't touch them b/c he wouldn't be held liable for them. After calling the "gutter guy" he made things very clear and we hired him to replace our gutters, something we'd have done had things been explained to us from the start. It turned out he was the one who had installed our gutters on the home years before anyway! He, in turn, stopped doing business with Advanced after his ordeal with them. Fast forward to the next big storm, and our roof leaked in TWO places. Advanced came out and did a small repair, but it has not solved the problem. They are VERY difficult to reach. Often times during the day you only get a message, and after hours there is no way to leave a voice mail at all. You're just stuck waiting until the morning and hoping someone answers. We also have several shingles that are falling at diagonals that weren't nailed in properly, and others that are peeling up for no known reason (heat, wind, etc.) so those now need to be addressed as well. We no longer wish to deal with them, so we're now searching for another company to do the work. I don't trust Advanced, and I have grown tired of them not resolving their issues. We gave them $7000 - and yes, we got a new roof, but we also received years worth of headaches that we're dealing with to this day. 20/20 hindsight says we could have done better with someone else. read more

I was referred to Advanced Roofing by a professional colleague and I couldn't be any happier with the results! The estimate was easy to read and understand. When I decided to move forward, they were professional and took care of surrounding bushes, patio furniture, etc. The end product was a very clean and updated look. Not only am I confident in our new roof, it improved the curb appeal. I was also very impressed that they completed the job in a day and a half! My new roof looks ok, but, the crew didn't hook up the gutters, they didn't clean out the gutters, they left debris and nails all over my roof, they left nails and screws throughout my hard (and I have a dog), they didn't clean up the street where the dumpster was sitting (screws and nails all over the street), they left black streaks ALL OVER my pale yellow siding, they told me they ONLY used 4 sheets of wood, but I was charged $500 more than the quoted price. My husband had to get on the roof and hook up and clean out the gutters, we cleaned up the street and yard, and the black marks all over the siding. The final finish and clean-up totally sucked. The "boss man" dropped off his LAZIEST worker for over an hour to clean up. He walked in my yard twice, then sat in my yard, on my steps, and on my porch. He DIDN'T do anything the whole time he was here. Also, I did NOT enjoy the fact that they all stood out here, for all my neighbors to see them, getting paid in cash each day they were here. The first rain we got, water was POURING off my roof because the gutters were filled with debris and NOT hooked up properly. I didn't feel that I should have to pay ANYTHING extra since they DIDN'T do any of the clean-up that was suppose to be included. read more

Good pricing. We had many leaks afterward, then they came back to fix them but they only fix the roof not all the damage it caused inside. Ruined my ceilings and floors. Then after they supposedly fixed that it still was not fixed, so more damage. Thank goodness we have not replaced everything yet. The other issue was that when they were putting the roof on they did not clean up well. I expected a few nail on the ground but not the amount I ended up picking up since they said they clean it up well when they are done. The main issue was that they threw their caulk or whatever they use in a tube like that into my gutter system, which then caused my gutters to fill up because it clogged the drain, and pull away form the house, another cost to me. read more

Advanced Roofing was recommended to us by a friend. We had already asked another company for a quote but decided it was a good idea to get a second one. Advanced Roofing's quote was a fair bit less than the one we already had, and, it included higher quality shingles. So, we went with our friend's recommendation (and the better option overall). Once we were on their schedule, we were given a date that the work would begin. We were asked if it was OK for the work to begin a day or two early, if other jobs were completed ahead of schedule. The work actually began a day before the original scheduled date. The crew showed up early in the morning and actually completed the job later that same day, albeit late in the evening. That said, I have to specify that our house is a single-story cape cod, with a garage and a gable, so the roof is not overly large or complicated (but it is pretty steep). We couldn't be happier with our new roof and would recommend Advanced Roofing for your next roofing job. read more
