Audiology Services offers good deals to US Veterans, which is terrific as we are a military family (Army, Air Force, Army Air Corps, Marine Corps, Army Corps of Engineers). The receptionist (from Mineral Wells, WV) was very kind, patient, and informative. Thought I would have to drop them off and come back, but Dr. Squires himself was there. I got my hearing aids in February 2023, and by mid-2024, they changed their pricing. When I…read morepurchased the two hearing aids, the rubber outer cone and the inner filter were supplied at NO cost. I was told to either stop by and pick up a package of each (PKG contents: 5 rubber cones and 5 filters; they are separate pkgs) or place an order for direct shipping with a small shipping cost. I live 10 minutes away, so I just picked them up. In mid-2024, I was told they had a price change, and now each package was $15 ($3 for each cone and each filter, but had to be bought as a package unit, no individual sales), so now I pay basically $15 a month to replace the cones and filters 2 times a month. OK, if I have to pay the subscription, I will keep my hearing aids working good. Today (June 2026), my left hearing aid is only staying charged about 12-15 hours before dying (I have a charger to put them in, the right one is working good). I took my hearing aid to their office and was told the warranty is for just 3 years and had expired in February of this year. When I asked about the cost, I was told it would be a minimum of $490 and I refused their offer. The cost is per hearing aid. I paid $4000, $15 a month, and $490 every 3 years ($980 if you do both, which is encouraged) Paying $4000 and thinking you're good for a while is not an option.
