At times, my performance was frustrating, yet Meggie offered encouragement. She provided materials to take home so I could continue the physical therapy plan she had developed. They seem very disorganized in the business end of things. When I called to set up my appointments, they took my insurance info. They even called me back a few days later to verify it again. So I started therapy. Given that I had already racked up enough out of pocket expenses from my knee surgery, therapy was supposed to cost me nothing out of pocket. At the end of the second session I was suddenly told that Moffett was not in my insurance company's network and that I would have to pay $50 every session. As I have to have ten sessions now and ten after my surgery on my other knee, it would have cost me another $1000 to continue with them. I wasted my time and money and now had to scramble to set up a visit with another therapist and start all over again! They could have just told me they were out of network in the first place! I even called and spoke to the owner today about this. She promised to call me back but instead had one of her people call me back. All they could do was "apologize" for the inconvenience and say that usually they tell people they are out of network or whatever. In fact she tried to tell me that it didn't matter because when they checked with my insurance that I had not met my maximums and I'd have to pay anyhow. I explained that not all charges are posted yet and that I had hit my out of pocket maximums. She was like, "Oh." Really? Seriously? Finally when I stopped by their office tonight to pick up my scrip from them and cancel my appointments, the owner saw me and I am sure she knew it was me. But did she come and apologize? Nope. Sent one of her other people out. So needless to say, I won't ever be going here again.

When she told me about options about the shower schedule she had to do a bed bath on me and treated me with dignity and made me feel confortable. From that day on i knew that while she was there i was in good hands with a caring person. There was a few more people there that always made me confortable and these people are the reeptionist i always called her georgeous and she called me hansome she made me feel at home i didn't get here name and i am sorry. there was two more people that really kicked my butt in therapy and they were Agnes and Ross they really worked me because they knew how bad i wanted to go home and they did not take it easy on me i appreciated that there were days when i got back to my room and just exhausted. This is the reason that this review is not five stars and it comes down to privacy. This is more for the second shift when the door is closed to the room it is only proper to knock and wait to be answered before coming in to the room. They had a habit of just walking in the room without knocking. There was a couple of times where i was in the bathroom and they just barged in and opened the door. Even though it is a kind of a hospital vibe when the door to the room is closed it should be considered being private and the courtesy is to knock not just walk in the door. if i ever have to go back for rehab i would go back to avondale

Both my husband and I have been with his practice for 5 years. Everyone is kind and professional and efficient. Appts are easy to make. Waiting time, if any, is brief. They listen to what you say, you're never made to feel rushed, they give you options, and they guide you to the best path of treatment. Labs can be drawn there with results given within appropriate times. Return calls are always completed. Dr. James A. Krcik is a coward. I saw him 3 times and each time he had to idea who I was. He lost…read moremy paperwork, when it was located I asked for it back to take it somewhere else, lost it again, once found he had signed and initialed it (saying it was received and reviewed) but yet he had no idea why I was there. I called and emailed a request for him to call me about my lost results. Dr. Krcik refused to call me as a patient under his direct care. When I emailed him in the livewell app, I got a respond from his staff saying "He will never call you". When I contacted the CEO to complain I was just treated like a criminal and later Dr. Krcik recommended me to another doctor, just to get me out of his hair. He falsified his appointment notes to make it seem he was more helpful than he was. Dr. Krcik wasted my time, money and allowed my prolonged pain for over 6 months. His facility in South Elgin is disorganized, the staff are self righteous and Dr. Krcik only cares about himself.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted by Mary, Lyndsay, or Kyle with professionalism and kindness. Nelle Youel was my PT and she was fantastic! She knew when to push me and when to ease up. She gave me a tailored Home Exercise Plan to help me continue to therapy at home. By the time I had my follow up appointment with my surgeon she had me at 130° range of motion! My doctor was absolutely stunned and said that I had the best range of motion he had ever seen 6 weeks post surgery! Thanks to Nelle, I've "made friends" with this new knee of mine and I have my mobility back!! I highly recommend Nelle Youel and this office!!
