Very poor experience with Western Appliance & Refrigeration this morning. Called because my…read morerefrigerator was having some issues and not cooling. They confirmed that they would indeed service the model of my Kenmore and said they could set up a service call. However I was told that the service call would cost $85 and then the repair costs would be extra. I was a little surprised and the high cost for a service call that I was told would take less than 30 minutes to determine the problem. I told them that I thought that seemed a little steep for a service call to just diagnose the problem. They said I could call around and call them back if I would like to take the open slot they had available. I called a couple other places and found nobody who could look at a Kenmore within the next week. So I called back Western Appliance and asked if I could schedule the service call. I was told no and when I asked why I was told that they don't want to work on Kenmore. I then asked why I was just told that they did service my model and were willing to set up a call earlier. I was given no answer so I asked if it was because I questioned the cost of the service call earlier and was told that they just didn't want to take the service call. I told them I thought that was a very poor business practice and that I was going to share my experience online and with people I know. I was then informed that they will TRACK ME DOWN if I do that. Well I guess they need to start tracking....
