We were satisfied with the job and felt their cost was reasonable. They took out the tree, chipped the branches removed all the wood and ground the stump and left the work area clean. My neighbor hired this company to take down an oak tree sitting right next to our brand new fence. Four guys worked on the tree, and it was like watching art. Branches came down and not one landed on our fence or the yard. Branches were hanging over the top of a mobile home behind us, and no branches scratched the top of the mobile home. The trees I had removed needed to be done so carefully as they were located dangerously close to powerlines. Not only did they do quick, high quality work but they were as much as 50% lower than other bids I received for my job. He showed up on time and answered all of our questions thoroughly, he provided us with an estimated "free of charge". We agreed and set up a time to begin work. The crew showed up on time as scheduled. They removed four very large Redwood Trees and one Giant Palm Tree. They were very careful not to damage the other landscaping and trees not to mention our house. The clean up was better then expected too! Although Jeff Newrider did a competent job cutting and removing a fallen tree on my property he refused to cut up the tree stump as stated in our contract. Jeff and his crew did a really great job trimming 2 overgrown mullberry trees. They shaped the trees and did not just cut the tops of the trees as most people do. They did a decent enough job taking the tree down when I could get them there. Extremely flaky. I was told that they would stump grind the stump and they did not. Here I am two years later, as I'm going to landscape the area and what do you know- there's the stump and roots still there. Jeff gave me the run-around twice stating that he would come but did not. Advanced Tree Care Services, owned by Jeff Newrider, does prompt and professional work for a very reasonable price. They removed my front yard stump, which measured over one foot in diameter, for $80, then asked if I wanted a large surface root ground up as well. I said yes, and they took that out too, for no additional fee. The two workers used a large machine for the front, then used a smaller machine to grind out a small stump in the back yard. They were very careful to identify where sprinkler lines ran, so as not to damage them. In addition, they used a plywood sheet to block splinters from striking the house while they were grinding. Finally, they cleaned up thoroughly with a blower, after finishing. These guys were polite, cheerful, and highly professional in every aspect of their work. Strongly recommended! read more

Great service. Jeff and I hit it off and he even brought me some of the yellow-tail he caught on his vacation fishing trip. The climber for Advanced tree was very experienced and they brought down big trees without damaging the small fruit trees or our gardens below. After many phone calls and seaching on PennySaver, we called Jeff and had an estimate for a stump removal in our front yard. We agreed and had set up an appointment for tuesday AM. On Monday afternoon, we called to confirm and he now change the time from 9am to 4pm. Tuesday came and no calls or show. We gave him a buzz and his response was thursday afternoon.
