Fell out of my tool kit in a parking lot and got run over. So I purchased a pair of sunglasses and regular glasses. The sunglasses got micro cracks from heat and had to spend over $200 to replace the lenses. They said it was my fault for leaving them in the sun. Sunglasses in the sun. Hmmm. Anyhow. It happened again after 2 years so I switched to transitions. Less than a year later after the coating THEY said I needed, and had to pay extra for, delaminated and fractured. Now they want $300 to replace the lenses after about a year. There's always a new person up front making these decisions and are not knowledgeable.. just upselling. I'm done!

From the occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses to the housekeeping staff- you will not find kinder, more attentive or knowledgeable people. They do a wonderful job of keeping you on top of your recovery. The rooms are private and roomy. You order your food for the day with a representative from food service the day before and the menu was awesome to choose from. No complaints on the food- it was a lot of food. They keep you hydrated, clean, and your pain relief is of utmost importance. I cannot say enough positive things about this hospital.

First off a lot of my favorite doctors, the ones that delivered my children and saw year after year have left. Yes, that's bound to happen, but it seemed to happen all at once and there must be a reason why. One of the most drastic changes they made is switching births from Women's and Babies to The Heart of Lancaster. With this switch also means that all their testing, procedures, etc. are also done at the Heart of Lancaster - a hospital I feel is subpar compared to the size, locations, convenience, and number of services offered by Lancaster General. Sometimes bigger is better and in the case of these two hospitals and services Lancaster General is the better choice but you won't get to use them here. In the past years they also moved from familiar, convenient locations to off the beaten trail areas. Gone is the original location on Columbia Ave, as well as the one at the Health Campus, although they do have an office on Noll Dr but not all of the doctors will see patients there. Lititz and Elizabethtown is also out of the way for me but every time I schedule an appt I end up at one of those two because my doctor won't step foot in the Lancaster location. The biggest and most important piece of advice I can offer a newbie is to BUY A CALENDAR. YOUR care will be in YOUR hands with this practice. YOU must remember to call them yearly for a mammogram order or to schedule a pap, YOU must call them for test results (bad ones also!), everything is on YOU! I have experienced this first hand with some rather potentially serious health issues that I was the one following up, demanding repeat testings', researching, and finally seeking the opinion of another health care professional because frankly I felt like my situation fell through the cracks. Also be prepared for cut corners, annuals that don't include paps, test results that they can easily give you over the phone but try to squeeze another copay out of you, and miscoding billing. I hate to say it but OGYN is no longer Lancaster's go-to for feminine care.

She is thorough and patient...never hurries you through your Appt and is amazing on the portal. She has helped me with every single issue I've brought her way. The same goes for Dr. Telford-Wren. She is both my kids' pediatrician and has been immensely helpful. Now for the incredible office staff. Let me tell you...these ladies are so sweet, so funny and so helpful. The amount of times I've laughed with them after an appointment is worth a couple stars by itself. They always help me out when I call and have really put in overtime on some of my family's referrals and appointments. I think it's unfair that they have one single review, and that it's so terrible. I wanted to take a moment and say something nice about this, even though the more people that go, the less chance I have to get the quick appointments :)

I suggest you find another medical group and not use these doctor's because of him. Today was another horrible experience he sat in the exam room for 1 hr., no one checked in or bothered to relay info that they were running late. He had another engagement so had to leave. my husband has had several surgeries for skin cancer and melanoma. Obviously their patients wellbeing is not a top priority.
