I've purchased four pair of glasses over the course of 5 years. My first purchase was for safety glasses for work. They were fine. Nothing special. Fell out of my tool kit in a parking lot and got run over. So I purchased a pair of sunglasses and regular glasses. The sunglasses got micro cracks from heat and had to spend over $200 to replace the lenses. They said it was my fault for leaving them in the sun. Sunglasses in the sun. Hmmm. Anyhow. It happened again after 2 years so I switched to transitions. Less than a year later after the coating THEY said I needed, and had to pay extra for, delaminated and fractured. Now they want $300 to replace the lenses after about a year. There's always a new person up front making these decisions and are not knowledgeable.. just upselling. I'm done! read more

My husband and I went today for the first time. Did not need eye exam went to get glasses. Can not say enough about how helpful they were! We found it to be a very friendly place. We definitely have found a new eye place. read more

I have always gone to WalMart for my exams and took the precription to Lenscrafters for glasses. I wanted a change and called Crystal Clear to see how much an exam would cost. It was only a few dollars more so I made the easy switch. I was greeted by the office manager who was very friendly and we went over paperwork. My insurance was accepted so I just had to pay the difference. Dr. Sulak explained every part of the exam thoroughly. I was impressed on how well he was able to explain each test and what the results mean to me. I wanted to purchased glasses and contacts. I had previously went online and had a pair of Coach glasses in which I fell in love with before I went. I looked around the showroom but could not find any glasses I loved as much as the glasses I found online. I purchased contacts from Dr. Sulak and got a copy of my prescription to take to Lenscrafters (which carred the glasses I wanted). My contacts came in a few days later and I already set up my appointment for the next year. I would recommend Dr. Sulak to everyone! read more

Dr. Sulak made a mistake on my prescription. The lensmaker rotated both lenses an amount that was different from my prescription. When I complained Dr. Sulak had one lens remade but would not check the other. I could not get past the woman out front to talk with the doctor about the second one. Took my old glasses and Dr. Sulak's glasses to several local Optometrists who each came to the same conclusion, the lens was made incorrectly. With this evidence the receptionist agreed to have the lens remade. You probably won't have this experience at Dr. Sulak's office but I keep asking why anyone should or why anyone would go there if there is another Optometrist available. read more

I have been here several times however this past time I was eligible for free lenses and they did not give it to me. When I got my glasses they did not even fit them to me and find them very difficult to wear. They are always falling off my face. I used to swear by this place and now I just don't know. read more

The glasses are of poor quality and the price is outrageous which I stupid to pay. I purchased 2 pairs a year and half ago and they are already messed up. I paid over $200 for a pair of lineless bifocal safety glasses which the lens is so crazed and cracked. And that was less than a year of not wearing them. My everyday eye glasses I paid alittle over $700 for them for lineless bifocals is now so scratched up I can't hardly see out of them. I took care of them and only wore them when reading & driving. Used the lens care cleaner and still so many scratches. I believe they are a ripoff and use the poorest quality of lenses possible. In all my years of wearing glasses(27 yrs.) never had such poor quality. My husband also purchased from them and has the same problems. read more

I have never had eye care like I have had with Dr. Sulak! I love the personal experience, since he is the only doctor in the practice. Everyone in the office is friendly, knowledgeable and very nice. I had my eye exam and bought the best pair of glasses I have ever had. The best part was they arrived in 3 days! Everywhere else I have gone I have to wait at least a week. I am very happy with my experience and have already scheduled my exam for next year. The only issue I had was that he is an out of network provider with my vision insurance, but they worked with me and gave me enough of a discount that I was able to afford my glasses comfortably without using insurance. ***BUYER BEWARE*** I would give them a negative 5 stars if I could. Went here when I was finding it hard to read tiny print on the back of medicine bottles. Had not had an eye exam in several years and figured I needed one. I am 43 and have never needed glasses or eye correction before. After my exam I was told that I needed progressive lenses to correct my vision. I was surprised, as had no other vision issues other than on occasion reading tiny print. Not having any experience with glasses before and due to the fact that I was getting older, I trusted the Dr. I was told to pick out frames from a particular section of the ones available and was fitted for the lenses. After about a week, I picked them up. Right away I was concerned that I could not see clearly and it felt that I was looking through a fish bowl. Everything was magnified and outlines of objects were wavy. I was assured by Linda that my eyes just needed to adjust and that since it was my first pair of glasses it would take a few weeks. I tried them for a few days and started to get headaches and felt unsteady on my feet. I could not see correctly with them on. I was told some people can not wear progressives, so I returned for a recheck and my prescription was changed. After another week when the glasses came back and I picked them up, I once again could not see. Things were still not clear and the reading part did nothing at all. I returned the second time and they told me that they were going to give me "reading" glasses. When they were sent to the lab, I stated that I needed them by a certain date as I was leaving on a month long vacation and if I couldn't get them by then I didn't want them. I waited until the day before I was leaving and called. They were not back so I asked to please cancel the whole thing. Linda told me she could not do that and I had to contact my insurance co. I have been trying for weeks to get this resolved with no luck. Crystal Clear Eye Care tells my insurance that they will not return them. It has taken 3 times and over eight weeks that I have been dealing with this issue. I was sold an expensive pair of progressive glasses that I did not need and now they are trying to give me a pair of reading glasses. I have since been to the drug store and gotten a pair of 10 dollar glasses that works perfectly for the FEW times that I need them. Never once was it stated that they had no return policy and it is not my fault that they have sold me glasses that I can not see out of. This is a classic case of bait and switch and the customer service is terrible. They avoid my phone calls and refuse to call my insurance company back after they have left repeated messages. Save yourself the headache and go to one of the many other eye care places. read more

I did not have a very positive experience here. I went in for a normal exam which wasn't the problem. When my glasses came in and I tired them on I couldn't see out of the left lens. The women in the show room told me that I just needed "to get used to them". I insisted that there was something wrong. She showed them to the doctor who re-examined my eyes and then the lenses. Sure enough my prescription was not right. The glasses had to be sent back for re work. The new glasses came back and I tried them on. They were better but not perfect. $500 glasses should be perfect. Again the girl in the showroom told me to wear them for a while and "to get used to them". I wore them for a few weeks and they still were not right. I went back again to the showroom. She played with the frames a little a re-adjusted how they sat on my face and said that will do it and "to get used to them". I have been wearing glasses for 30 years and never had this much trouble "getting used to them" I started wearing my old glasses because the new glasses always made my vision off. I called back again to the office asking to see if someone could help me with the glasses. I was told that my insurance wouldn't pay for me to come in until it has been 2 years. I just wanted to go in to have someone take a look at my glasses again and was told I would have to make an appointment and pay for the visit. Sooooo my rating reflects my disappointment. I know circumstances/mistakes happen but to me it is how they are corrected that makes the difference. In this case the services was a big fail. I will not be going back there once my "insurance" pays again. read more
