That's on me for not checking. So I came back the next morning when they opened. They do the x rays on a walk in basis. I was 4th in line. Check in process was easy. After a 20 or so minute wait I was called to the back. Went in a little changing area to put on my gown. They have temporary combination locks. It was nice they had the XL size gowns. Since I am on the taller side usually placed don't have any long enough for me. I was able to cover all of my bits. Whole x ray process only took a few minutes. Everyone thy I spoke to were nice and pleasant. Overall a good experience.

It was 1 15 and asked the clerk about my appointment. She asked me if they called me. I said no. She said she would check on it. I waited. 1 45 and still no answer. I asked again and she came back to me and said I should be next. 2 pm and still waiting she came back with some lame excuse which I did understand. So I called customer service and complained at 2 15 and they told a supervisor will come out. 2 45 and still no supervisor and called again and they assured me that one would be out. 3pm someone came out and took the the paperwork out the vin for US. They told me they overbooked

There also seems to be an issue with them saying things that never actually happened did. Back in April, I scheduled an MRI for one part of the body *with contrast*, sent an order over specifically for that part of the body, only to have Washington Open MRI mess up entirely. I got a call on Thursday saying that they had a question for my provider and for my insurance. The Washington Open MRI staff claimed that they would reach out to both. It seems they did not. They claimed that they'd need to cancel my insurance if they didn't hear back about an authorization. So, I called my insurance company for authorization. My insurance plan doesn't require authorization for this procedure, and moreover never received an authorization request. The staff claimed that they initially scheduled my appointment at Owings Mills and then would have to reschedule because a doctor who could oversee contrast quit. No doctor who oversaw contrast ever worked at Owings Mills. A doctor at another facility quit, and they shouldn't have even scheduled someone with a contrast order at Owings Mills. But, instead of being honest, they lied about it. The staff claimed it was my fault that I was scheduled for the wrong procedure. I told them that the order was in an email, I called for an MRI, and there was no way it was my fault. They later admitted that new schedulers weren't trained well. But again, no one takes responsibility and tries to resolve the issue. It's just someone else's fault. Had I actually gone through with the procedure, my insurance wouldn't have covered it since it would've been a duplicate of another MRI.

I was in and out in about 35 minutes. I never had any problems scheduling an appointment ever I believe this was my third or fourth time going there and since I am claustrophobic this is the place for me! I really felt like I was taking care of from the moment I walked in until I finished my MRI and walked out with the CD in my hand. I think the staff is excellent and they couldn't have been any kinder!

This appears to be price gouging of patients and insurance companies thus increasing the costs of health insurance. Some state or federal agency needs to look into their practices. I booked an appointment with Dr. Courtney Goode of UM Eye months ago because my eye doctor had retired and I needed new eyeglass badly. The receptionist, told me I would need to return for a second visit for a prescription because my insurance company would not reimburse them otherwise. That didn't make sense to me but I decided to speak with the doctor. Next, a technician, not a doctor, took me to an eye exam room and informed me that I would get a full exam on the first visit but a second visit was required for a prescription. She said that my insurance did not cover vision or dental. I informed her that this was never the case before. For years, I got an exam and prescription at the same visit. This tech told me this was their office's way of doing business. If I wanted a prescription and exam at this initial visit, I would need to pay $55 for the prescription. My copay with Aetna is $5. I decided not to continue the visit and left. I called Aetna immediately after getting home and was told that my insurance did indeed cover vision and would reimbursed me $200+ for the new glasses. I was then given names of eye doctors in that could give me an appointment within a weeks time.
