What an incredible group of compassionate souls. Saying goodbye to my loyal companion of over a decade was one of the most challenging days of my life, but they provided such comfort and care during that difficult time. I am truly grateful. A week later, they sent me a heartfelt card signed by everyone, complete with my baby's footprint. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My kitten didn't make it and passed away just minutes after arriving, but everyone at the clinic was incredibly kind, accommodating, and caring during such a difficult time. Dr. Katherine Zamudio was compassionate and patient, she took the time to explain everything and truly went above and beyond making me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. This clinic is for specialty and emergency care only; otherwise, I would switch to Dr. Zamudio as our regular vet without hesitation. I hope you pets never have to come here but if they do you are in good care.

Our family just inherited a puppy as a new member of the family. Advanced Veterinary Care Center was there for our family during the last year of our sixteen year old dog's life. We brought our dog into the emergency center and the staff made the stressful situation minimal. They quoted us a price for care and did not use the whole amount. Our dog stayed overnight for three days and received care. Just a super friendly caring staff and fairly priced and appreciate that they did not take advantage of a sad situation. The front of the Advanced Vet business has six reserved parking spaces. Went into the care center lobby, whuch is very clean, to find out about initial consultation pricing for our new puppy if ever needed. They had three employees at the front counter. One of the girls advised that the price is still the same at $145.00 for ER consultation and then further pricing if required is determined by the doctor.

Our one year old very energetic pup got into a bit of an accident and ended up with a huge wound on his neck. We had to rush to advanced veterinary care center recommended to us by our vet. I ran into the office with the dog in a bloody towel, my 8 year old crying and myself covered in blood. The first came out immediately and was super calmed and took him in right away. I was directed to their restroom so I could clean up a bit. Afterwards we were taken to a room where the doctor came in and explained everything they needed to do and I was told someone else would come in to give me a quote. Kimberly came in with the quote and immediately started talking to my son first. She explained everything to him in a way he would understand. She went as far as giving him her card so he could give her a call for updates if he needed to know about his dog. Before we left him there for stitches she asked him if he wanted to see our dog before we left and walked us to their ICU, introduced every nurse to him and let him pet our dog. No, the place is not cheap but the service we received was above and beyond any expectations. Kimberly is absolutely amazing, sweet and caring and deserves all the props in the world.

My baby Kai after bite in eye socket (was already missing eye) by another dog; after stitches were removed.

Clean premises, excellent service, life saving veterinary services with empathy and compassion for you and your beloved fur family. I would highly recommend bringing your babies here in an emergency any day or time of the week. They took such great care of my baby Kai and now he's all healed up and back to his normal crazy self.

This place could use more empathy and less greed. My wife brought her cat in who had a hernia and needed surgery which another vet told us and referred us to here..... They prey on your emotions and gave my wife this estimate for what needs to be done.... $7500-$14000 dollars and said it would probably fall into the $10000.00 range... Yes that's not a typo.... I said that's ridiculous and outrageous... I told them I would only go to $5000.00 and they said they don't negotiate... Told my wife to take the cat and go... I called a rescue and they referred us to the sweetest and caring young lady who did it for $1800 and tried to explain to us why she thought she was high and we gave her $2000.00 and thanked her for her true kindness and empathy.... I would absolutely pass on this group.... Here is the estimate..... Be well......

They rushed us into a quiet room and brought her in so we could say our goodbyes before she passed. They gave her meds to help her make the transition painless. He said he would be back with an estimate , when the nurse came back with an estimate I had questions, Dr Philips came back in with another attitude , he was short , rude and annoyed I was asking questions about the $1600 estimate . When I told him we were going to wait it out a couple hours , he walked out of the room and closed the door . No words , just left . He was clearly annoyed I was questioning the prices . I decided to leave ,they wanted me to sign a paper at the front desk saying I am refusing care . Laqueda in the front desk continued with the rude and condescending service . I was appalled that how their behavior changed simply because I questioned the estimate . I will never come back . It felt like the doctor simply wanted my money , not to take care of my pet . They held my dog in the back until I paid the visit fee . ( which I had no problem doing ) . Once I paid , they tell someone in the back that my dog was ready to leave . Basically is a very money hungry place . They held my dog "hostage" in the back until I paid . Awful experience . Dr Clay Philips made us feel our pet didn't matter . Only how deep our pockets were .

If you are in an emergency, this is the only place in the area I would ever trust. Before we came to VEG, we sat at another ER for 2.5 hours only to be told Jack wasn't 'critical enough' to be a priority and we had to continue to wait. I knew in my gut something was wrong, so we left and rushed straight to VEG. The second we walked into VEG, they saw him immediately, and I truly believe the attentive staff is the reason he's still here today. Jack is a senior with a Grade 5 heart murmur and Addison's Disease, and it turned out what he was experiencing was a life-threatening Addisonian crisis. His care is a delicate balancing act, but for 48 hours, the team was so meticulous, managing his IV fluids with total precision to save his kidneys without hurting his heart. Throughout it all, they treated Jack with so much love and attention; he was as cared for as if he were their own. Seeing my little man walk out of there with high energy and his appetite back feels like a miracle. They didn't just stop at the emergency, either; they even reached out to Jack's internist to make sure she understood exactly what took place so we can have a solid long-term plan for his medications. Mitch, Kat, Jamie and the rest of the nurses were so incredibly kind, and Dr. Kagan's expertise was the only thing that gave me peace of mind during the scariest 48 hours. The VEG team leads with both science and a massive amount of heart. We are so grateful!

READ *VERY* CAREFULLY !…read more If you care about your furr baby, STAY AWAY AS POSSIBLE FROM THIS PLACE. That place is hell. I had one of the worst experiences of my entire life in there. If you love your pet, DO NOT GO THERE! Rude staff, unprofessional, Dr, Ridge is the worst doctor and "professional" I have ever seen. He has to retire. They took my dog for and xray and claimed my puppy bit one of the vet techs and needed to go to the hospital, (they never allowed me to see the lady or the bite wound) proceed to ask me for my rabbies vaccination. My dog had the rabbies tag in the collar, that wasn't enough. My veterinary called them and told them to go to the official miami dade county website, type the tag number and there they could see all the information about my baby being up to date, they didn't accept that. They wanted the official rabbies certificate. Meantime, Dr. Ridge while I was crying out of frustation and not being able to see my dog because they TOOK it away from me, he had the courage to tell me "I don't want to be rude but I need to be honest, if you don't show me the paper I want your dog will be taken by animal control and I need to tell you that that is a horrible place, full of sick dogs and there, your dog will really suffer". They took and Xray that never was show to me and I am still waiting to receive. They gave medicines to my dog without asking for my consent or tell me the cost of it. They took my dog to the back and hold it there for almost 4 hours without letting me see it. After they approved the release, took them 1:30h more to give me MY dog, while I asked the doctor how much longer, he told me "I am doing 15 things at the same time, leave me alone". Now, still waiting to receive the Xray, they don't want to answer the phone anymore to me, they put me on hold. Everything they did to me wasn't right. Not showing me results, not allowing me to see my dog and keeping it away from me for 4 hours! Giving medicines without my authorizathion, and now just not answering me. It was a nightmare, they didn't help my dog or me, they just put me thru hell. My dog had all the vaccines and still, nothing was enough for Dr. Ridge, besides being unprofessional, he took my dog away from me without allowing me to see it for hours, didn't show me results, gave medicine without consent. And when I was about to leave, the front desk guy told me "he wasn't sure he could give me the refund left because the lady that my dog actually bit was the lady in charge for the refunds" so.... Why was a billing person doing an Xray on my dog?. Now they do not want to send me the xray that they never show "because there is no internet" but they could answer the phone and type on the computer?. If I could give negative stars I would. Something there is very wrong. My only regret, not calling the police to stand by me and watch what they did while they took my dog away without allowing me to see it and not accepting any official dade county documents just because Dr. Ridge said so.

Responsiveness, Value Do NOT ever bring an animal to this…read moreso-called animal hospital Unless you would like your animal to be killed. The place is a filthy hole in the wall. The doctor's lab coat was filthy and bloody. The floor was the same way. This monster, (Ridge or Rich) is not a doctor. Unfortunately, I read the reviews after he killed my dog!! There are so many people that left reviews that he killed their dogs as well. I brought him the dog I rescued from MDAS because he wasn't able to poop and wasn't eating. I thought he needed to see a vet ASAP so I found this psycho on google and I liked the fact that he was a 24 hr hospital. He was emaciated and was packed with poop. For 4 days he was using enemas to unblock poop that was packed and hard as a rock. Every time he did that, the dog was in excruciating pain. I was coming to visit my boy every day and bring him a hamburger or chicken nuggets because that was the only thing he would eat. I witness the poor dog outside trying to poop at no avail. I asked that bastard what is he planning to do. He said: i'm doing it my way. The only way I know how. Enemas. What would you like me to do? I suggested that instead of ramming the enemas deep into him, maybe he can sedate him and somehow try unblock the hard poop. The morning that I came in with a hamburger in my hands, my dog laid in the cage looking almost dead. He didn't have an IV fluids or pain killers. This bastard shoved something up this poor baby's behind so hard, and perforated his intestines. The dog went septic. He never called to tell me what happened and he wouldn't t even talk to me when i asked what happened. My sweet dog was suffering in excruciating pain. I told him Was taking the dog to another vet NOW! He didn't resist or cared. The dog couldn't stand up, let alone walk. 2 men put him onto a sheet and carried him out to my car. I was crying hysterically, I couldn't see the road. When my vet looked at him, she said that just by looking at him, clinically he is dying. She put him immediately on intravenous meds and stayed up the whole night trying to save his life. At 5am I received the call that my boy didn't make it. Please! Everyone! This sub-human needs to lose his license. His place closed forever. He should be charged for neglect. He has no compassion for animals or people. Write and complain to the American veterinary association. The agriculture department. Better business bureau. Leaving feedbacks will not stop this monster. I hope he rots in jail.

Please be cautious when considering Royalty Pets Boarding…read more When I first met Kris, he assured me that my dog would have full access to their home and sleep on her dog bed in his bedroom. I was relieved and happy to hear this, especially as someone who treats their dog like family. However, I had immediate concerns about how the dogs were let outside, as the backyard has no fence and backs up to a lake. The house itself appeared spotless and quiet, which gave me initial comfort. I believe I used their services four times in total. Each time I dropped off my dog, Kris would quickly take her into the house on a leash. I never once saw his wife, kids, or any other dogs during pick-up or drop-off--which I found unusual. When I picked her up, she was always leashed and brought directly to the front door. The first few times, I noticed faint yellow stains on her underside. My dog has pure white fur and has never had staining issues before. But after leaving her with them in July 2025, she came home completely covered in yellow stains--on her legs, belly, bottom, and tail. I bathed her immediately, but the stains wouldn't come out. It was clear she had been sitting in urine for a long time. I texted Kris right away, and he claimed it could have been grass stains. That was absolutely not the case. I now believe my dog was confined in a converted garage space--likely in a crate or small enclosure--and left sitting on soiled pee pads for days. My dog has never been caged before. She's trained to go to the bathroom outside, and this experience was traumatic for both of us. A neighbor who lives a few doors down even told me they've never seen Kris walking a dog, which only confirmed my fears. I wish I had trusted my instincts after the first few visits. My family and friends were heartbroken when they saw the pictures of her condition. I will be attaching those photos for reference. We will never use Royalty Pets again and cannot in good conscience recommend them. Please don't be fooled by their friendly communication, text updates, or staged photos of dogs in front of the same setup. I'm now certain my dog never spent any real time inside their spotless home. We feel deceived and devastated that our beloved dog was left in such filthy conditions. In response to the owner's comment: It's interesting that only after I left an honest review, he's now making up false claims to cover himself. I have multiple texts from him during my dog's stay saying things like, "Your dog is doing great, she's happy and comfortable with no issues." If you care about your dog's well-being, I strongly recommend asking for a full house tour--including the garage, which is likely filled with crates where the dogs are kept. How is it acceptable to crate a dog for seven days on urine-soaked pads that stain their fur? My dog is fully potty trained and incredibly sweet. There is simply no justification for the condition she was returned in.
