My corgi, Chester, has been going to Nova Animal Hospital for more than a year now. Best vet hospital we have ever been to. Chester had a bladder stone and Dr. Rodriguez was the best. The nursing staff and front desk were also amazing and helped us in his recovery process the entire way. I'm happy that this office is where I can bring my puppy for anything.

Nova Animal Hospital has been my vet of choice for the last 10 years. Dr. Formoso has built a 1st rate clinic w/ knowledgable & caring doctors, well trained vet techs & an efficient office staff. They provide excellent care for very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

I called at 1:15 on a Thursday after my regular vet couldn't take Benji even tho I called at 8:00 am The person that answered the phone was so caring & understanding when I told her Benji was peeing blood, not a little, a lot. She said let me move a client and we can see Benji at 4:30 Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly people at desk. I filled out paperwork and was seen within 10 minutes. The tech asked questions and I told her all about the situation. I said I would like a x-ray done because his previous vet never did one. Benji had bladder infections in the past. They said let's do some bloodwork and a X-ray. I was given a written estimate before they did anything, which I appreciated. The vet came in after his X-ray and said yes Benji has bladder stones. She took me to the X-ray room and showed me the films. I was in shock that poor Benji wasn't in pain . She then explained all my options and I said I want them removed, I don't want to take the chance of them getting bigger or causing further damage. We decided to do all his pre op tests and bloodwork and scheduled surgery for Monday. Day of surgery everything went smoothly, except she found 20 small stones that were hiding She was able to remove them all. Benji stayed overnight for observation. I picked him up Tuesday, got all of his instructions and we went home. I would definitely recommend Dr.karina Falcon she was very caring and super nice. She explained everything before and after surgery. The girls at front desk and the techs are awesome too. Super friendly and compassionate. You usually don't encounter such great service

My husband and I love Nova Animal Hospital! We have been taking our two Mini Golden Doodles here for 6 months now, ever since we moved to South Florida. The location is a little hard to find, you will drive right past it if you aren't paying attention. But the second we walked in we knew we would be staying, it has a small town feel and all the staff are so nice! They loved our first Doodle from the second we walked in the door, and were so excited for us when we got our second one! The place is a little pricey but everything is expensive when you have two doodles and since our babies are 8 months and 4 months we have to go very often to get them all of their puppy shots! But in our opinion it's worth it! Nova was very helpful in taking the time to explain the shots they were giving and why our puppies needed them! They also gave us the option to say no to things we didn't think were necessary. I took the time to read some of the other reviews and really disagree with the bad ones left, that's why I took the time to write this. Obviously everyone has an opinion and they have that right! But some of these people just don't sound nice. Everyone has a bad day at some point and maybe some of the bad reviewers went on bad days! Some places aren't for some people, but I really think you should take the time to try this place and figure out for yourself if you like it or not!!

From the moment I called, the front desk staff member with gray, curly/wiry hair and glasses answered the phone with an audible sigh. I initially assumed she was having a difficult day, but while sitting in the lobby I heard her answer multiple calls the same way. It set an unfortunate tone. Our appointment was scheduled for 2:45 p.m. This practice has clients wait in their vehicles until called inside. We weren't invited in until 3:00 p.m., and by 3:15 p.m. our pet hadn't even been weighed. Another client in the waiting room told us she was still waiting for her 2:15 appointment as well. I approached the front desk because I'm a doctoral student and had class obligations later in the day. I simply asked for an update so I could decide whether I needed to reschedule. Instead of receiving an estimate or an apology, I was told in a sarcastic tone that we were "third" and that others had been waiting two hours. I was also told that "when you begin doctoring" I'll understand that nail trims turn into additional questions. I cut the woman off. She seemed to want an argument; raised my voice that customer service is a simple courtesy and their issue of poor scheduling shouldn't be my problem. I'm not in veterinary school, and I have a 28-year professional career. My concern wasn't that emergencies or longer appointments happen - they absolutely do. My concern was the complete lack of communication and respect for clients' time. If the schedule is running an hour or two behind, a quick phone call or text giving clients the option to arrive later or reschedule is simply good customer service. The one bright spot was the staff member who proactively came out to swab our dog's ears before the appointment. She was kind, efficient, and clearly trying to help the veterinarians stay on schedule. She deserves recognition. Unfortunately, I also witnessed another staff member speaking to a couple with a paralyzed dog in a manner that came across as cold and lacking compassion. Whether intentional or not, bedside manner matters just as much as technical expertise. This entire experience was so upsetting, I left to wait in the car while my mom handled the appointment. Where I live, customer service is paramount (I was bringing in a pet as a favor to a family member currently traveling). I get this is South Florida, but you don't have to live the stereotype. In the end, the delays themselves weren't what disappointed me. It was the dismissive attitude, poor communication and lack of empathy. With better scheduling communication and customer service training, this practice could provide a much better client experience. Oh, and firing that horribly rude woman at the front desk. Editing to add: I'd be remiss if I didn't add, my mother was not allowed back with our pet. The vet comes out to the lobby to discuss animal condition, results, etc. When my mother mentioned he is having issues with his hind leg, she was dismissive and said nothing is wrong with it. Meanwhile, he won't put weight on the leg and has been limping for days. The idea of not being allowed to observe any part of a patient examination is mind-boggling. Yes, you won't be there for x-rays or bloodwork. That's typical. The rest of the exam? You're left wondering what even takes place.

**** I cannot…read moreexpress enough gratitude for the care, compassion, and kindness our family received from the entire team at Advanced Veterinary Care Center. We first brought our beloved Jack there about a month ago in a very serious condition. He was suffering from acute kidney problems in addition to advanced heart disease. The team treated him with extraordinary competence and care, and he improved enough to come home and spend three more precious weeks with our family. Those weeks meant more to us than words can describe. Unfortunately, we had to return when Jack went into severe congestive heart failure and was struggling to breathe. From the moment we arrived, everyone treated him with urgency, tenderness, and respect. They placed him in oxygen, tried to stabilize him, explained every detail honestly, and gave us the time and support we needed to face the most painful decision of our lives. Jack passed away there in my arms, exactly as I wanted: close to me, surrounded by love. My husband and our children were also able to be present and participate in saying goodbye. The staff created a peaceful, private, and loving environment for us. Even during such a heartbreaking moment, they were gentle, patient, compassionate, and deeply respectful of both Jack and our family. Today, they called to let me know that Jack's ashes had arrived and were ready to be picked up. That call brought all the pain back, but it also reminded me of how thoughtfully they cared for every part of this experience--from trying to save his life to helping us honor him after his passing. Jack was not "just a dog." He was our family, our companion, and one of the greatest loves of our lives. We will forever be grateful that, during his final moments, he was surrounded by people who understood how deeply he was loved. Thank you to every doctor, nurse, technician, and staff member who cared for Jack and supported our family. Your professionalism was exceptional, but it was your humanity, warmth, and compassion that we will never forget. Letizzia Bafile

Most importantly, Chloe was happy and no longer in pain, and for that we were truly grateful. She went on to live two more wonderful years.
