    Angel thanks you.

Awesome customer service...bar none...professional caring staff, from the intake telephone call to the in office visit. Kudos to Paige, Dr. Kiser, and his veterinary assistant. My maltese Angel and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Sincerely Christine D.

One of the few ER vets that see EXOTICS! Unfortunately, my ~4yo guinea pig Spencer has been here a handful of times (eating a house plant, urinary stones, diarrhea). This location is easy to find and there is plenty of free parking in the lot. The office itself is always very clean and the rooms are calm and quiet with cute art on the wall. Both the techs and doctors alike are extremely knowledgeable. Bedside manner is top tier, I have never felt rushed even though I'm the type of person to ask a million questions. You are given very clear itemized estimates on care/meds you can say yes or no to with an explanation of why each thing is recommended. Dr. Renata Schneider has seen us a couple times now and she's my personal favorite. Do what's best for your pet and save their info in your phone.

    Gary

I brought my beautiful Gary to be seen by the vet. She was amazing, compassionate, and asked great questions. I immediately felt at ease that my Gary was in the right place! Gary was incredibly lethargic & thirsty and I was seriously worried. She ran the right tests & we are now on a path to treating his diabetes. What a relief! Great staff & compassionate team! Thank you to all who helped us!!

The best emergency vet center you can go to. These doctors are very honest and truly care for your pets. No shady business here whatsoever. From the receptionist to the doctors, everyone is very nice and caring. Thanks for helping our puppy

I have to say, I was very impressed, I called and they told me to come right over. As soon as I got there, they brought us in and took very good care of my pup. The nurse was very courteous and knowledgeable. The doctor was so kind and explained everything so well I would definitely recommend pet emergency center. Thank you so much again kodi appreciates all the love you you gave him that night. He is in no more pain and is walking just fine.

Wilson is a maine coon and when fully grown will weight 20+lbs!... There is no way we cld have a 20lb+ tom cat spraying in the house! He has a heart murmur and vet after vet refused to even evaluate him for neutering because of his condition... THANK YOU Pet Emergency Center for taking the time to evaluate Wilson and ultimately perform this much needed procedure not only for the family's sanity but for Wilson's health!! It's been several months post-op he's growing like a weed and is as healthy as ever:-) thanks to Paige and her staff for taking such good care of him.... While neutering is not considered an emergency situation they cared enough to listen and help me with my predicament I highly recommend pet emergency center for their professionalism their empathy and their love of all animals

Taking a…read moredog to emergency is already a horrible situation to be but when you meet a vet who pretends to care while taking as much money from you as possible it is even worse. I have to say that part of the staff really seems to care but my experience with the vet Raluca Anghel was not the best. She pressured me and made me feel horrible as I tried to decide what to do about the situation. First she recommended me to leave my dog overnight for a cost of over 5k than when I said I wouldn't leave my baby there she started saying my dog was not responding to the treatment and very quickly her new alternative was euthanasia. So if I had paid 5k to leave my dog there would I pay 5k to have her euthanized the next morning? The whole interaction with her was awful and it was just not worse because I was basically unable to think straight. I left with a 2k bill and without my baby. When I asked for the exams she said she did, they sent me a few things but even though I paid for a ultrasound I didnt get any images. I emailed them about it and they say they didnt save it. Why would I pay for something and they would not keep it to share with me if needed? When I emailed them questioning I receive no response. One disappointment after another. I have other dogs so I already did my research on other Emergency vets in the area and I hope you do as well instead of taking your loved pet here.

They immediately started treatment, gave him IV fluids and medications for seizures and vomiting, and took his condition very seriously. The staff was attentive, and medically I do feel they helped stabilize and save my dog's life. The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the conversations surrounding finances and euthanasia felt extremely overwhelming emotionally. Within a short period of time, euthanasia was suggested multiple times due to the severity of his condition and the cost of hospitalization. While I understand they needed to be honest about the risks, as a pet owner in panic and financial distress, it felt very difficult and emotionally intense without many alternative options being discussed. That being said, I still want to recognize the quality of the medical care and the speed with which they treated my dog. He is now recovering, walking again, and improving, and I am grateful to the medical team for acting quickly during such a terrifying experience.

Please be aware this place preys on your desperation with the final objective of ripping you off…read more Yes, I am definitely mad an angry for how we an our pet were treated at this place, and now, after a week of the incident, calmed and with my dog fully recovered, I wanted to share our experience and provide evidence supporting my claims. Of course, before writing this review, I made a formal complaint through DBPR who is supposed to investigate and provide licenses for these establishments. Hope they look into this. Anyway, we came to this establishment (VEG ER for Pets) to bring our dog that just had a small leg injury. Without even checking the pet, the dog was needled for IV and was applied different pain medicines without any consultation. Several procedures took place thereafter including X rays and so (again, without consultation). At this stage, no veterinary had yet even look at the dog's leg. A veterinary came to us after a while with a long list of procedures the dog was being subjected to, and that we had to approve and pay in advance in order to continue. Different doctors and nurses at the establishment explained to us many absurd things that could be happening to our dog from a massive internal bleeding, to spinal cord fracture just to name a few. They have not even examined the leg yet, and actually never did. Since we were reluctant to sign the approval for the procedures they wanted to carry out, they left us alone clearly knowing that we were nervous and worried about all the unfounded diagnosis they have shared with us (clearly meant to generate fear). We decided to take our dog and leave, not before after they made us pay them $600 without any clarity under what basis were they charging this. I can certainly probe that all the procedures this establishment wanted to carry out were unnecessary and were meant just to increase the bill. That same night we left VEG ER for Pets with our pet and went to another veterinary where our dog was cured and treated completely differently for the same injury. The list of procedures at this establishment is completely different. The doctor quickly cleaned and look at the wound upon arrival, no IV was necessary though they did administer some medicine and did a X Ray to ensure everything was OK. In contrast, the list of procedures from VEG includes so many items that were total unnecessary and unfounded. Below, just a few of the things that appeared in VEG's list: Laceration Repair E-collar Peripheral Catheter Penrose Drain Lactated Ringers And there were so many more blood tests and medicines that the list is 3 pages long, while in the other establishment is just bandage, some medicines, x rays and that is it. I have shared the two establishment's lists of procedures with DBPR's officers for the investigation.

**** I cannot…read moreexpress enough gratitude for the care, compassion, and kindness our family received from the entire team at Advanced Veterinary Care Center. We first brought our beloved Jack there about a month ago in a very serious condition. He was suffering from acute kidney problems in addition to advanced heart disease. The team treated him with extraordinary competence and care, and he improved enough to come home and spend three more precious weeks with our family. Those weeks meant more to us than words can describe. Unfortunately, we had to return when Jack went into severe congestive heart failure and was struggling to breathe. From the moment we arrived, everyone treated him with urgency, tenderness, and respect. They placed him in oxygen, tried to stabilize him, explained every detail honestly, and gave us the time and support we needed to face the most painful decision of our lives. Jack passed away there in my arms, exactly as I wanted: close to me, surrounded by love. My husband and our children were also able to be present and participate in saying goodbye. The staff created a peaceful, private, and loving environment for us. Even during such a heartbreaking moment, they were gentle, patient, compassionate, and deeply respectful of both Jack and our family. Today, they called to let me know that Jack's ashes had arrived and were ready to be picked up. That call brought all the pain back, but it also reminded me of how thoughtfully they cared for every part of this experience--from trying to save his life to helping us honor him after his passing. Jack was not "just a dog." He was our family, our companion, and one of the greatest loves of our lives. We will forever be grateful that, during his final moments, he was surrounded by people who understood how deeply he was loved. Thank you to every doctor, nurse, technician, and staff member who cared for Jack and supported our family. Your professionalism was exceptional, but it was your humanity, warmth, and compassion that we will never forget. Letizzia Bafile
