I got a response before 7am and someone was out by 11am. I was impressed by the quick response and showing up on time a couple days before the holiday. Nestor, the tech who came out was friendly, respecting of our home and in my mind conducted one of the most thorough and honest free estimates. We have a pest contract with another company and he suggested we reach out to them as well to see if they would handle, what we thought to be a raccoon as to not violate our contract. He went into the attic (helping me move boxes so we could get into the second attic entrance) and found that it was a rat caught in a trap and it happened to be right on top of our hallway attic entrance flopping around. I was able to call my pest control company and they removed the rat and rechecked entry points and helped seal other potential areas that Nestor pointed out to me during the inspection. I would not hesitate to call them in the future and have reached out regarding a treatment for the attic to neutralize the rat feces.

We called many places trying to get help with our squirrel problem. We didn't get calls back and when we did we were quoted outrageous dishonest prices. ABC Home made a in-person consultation with us immediately. Jimmy the representative was so kind and took Covid seriously. He easily identified all our open access points on our home and came up with a decisive plan to help us get rid of our squirrel problem without harming them. Their prices were honest. He even told me a little about their company and made me like them even more. We decided to go with this company and it was a great decision. He immediately got us scheduled as soon as he would with their guy Alex. He came out a few days later and he set up the one way exit and sealed all the holes. We had no squirrel problem within days. After the squirrels were gone he came back and sealed the holes for good. This price also included a one year warranty so I can rest assured. I really appreciate this company's service and will be sharing them with everyone.

He automatically brushes our eaves and windows as well as sprays on our large back patio, which is helpful b/c of the size and how much of the exterior it takes up. He is also friendly and timely for service appointments, which is helpful for personal scheduling. We have had to call for other technicians to come back for services. Long story short: we made the switch after swarms at our house were getting more frequent and our previous pest control company that we had a termite bond with just wasn't cutting it. After the first visit, termite activity completely disappeared for over a year. As you may know, without tenting your home, you can't ever fully get rid of termites, especially living in the Colonialtown neighborhoods. The large majority of older homes deal with it in some capacity. Our last two visits have just been quick spot treatments because of the protection and treatment we got the first time. We only ever have 1 or 2 small sites of activity a year (no more swarmst though), which is a huge improvement from the last company we used. All in all, we're happy with the service and recommend them for termite bonds. Every employee that's serviced our home has been on time, professional, and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

We opted out of emergency weekend service and instead left the lights on.in the attic all weekend. They came and inspected and sure enough, a raccoon had been there and rats. They installed a one way trap for the raccoon, as I didn't want it euthanized, rat traps and duct tape to further verify what kind of critters were taking up residence and sealed off every possible entrance. I also decided to have them re-insulate the attic as said critters had pretty much torn it up, plus left unsanitary messes. They completed the job in one day and the attic looks great now! Plus the "eviction" had worked, as there was no fur on the tape (they checked several days in a row.)

Every time I schedule a service visit, I'm given a specific appointment time--such as 12:00 PM--and told that the technician will call around that time or beforehand with an exact ETA. That call never comes. Instead, I end up having to call the office myself, only to learn that the technician is running significantly behind schedule. After the office contacts the technician, I typically receive a text stating they'll arrive two to two-and-a-half hours after the scheduled appointment time. If appointments are really being handled as service windows, then just be upfront about it. Tell customers the technician will arrive sometime between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. I can work around that. What I can't work around is being told a specific time and then having to repeatedly chase down updates. I work during the week and often on weekends as well, so scheduling accuracy and communication are extremely important. What's even more concerning is the actual service being provided. During the most recent visit, the inspector never entered my home. He simply walked around the exterior and pointed out an area where bats are allegedly entering--a location that Critter Control itself had previously repaired. Meanwhile, we continue to find evidence of bats inside our living spaces, and occasionally the bats themselves. To make matters worse, nearly every night I can see bats swarming around the upper portions of our house. It honestly looks like something out of Stranger Things or a Scooby-Doo episode--and I do not mean that as a joke. It is genuinely alarming and concerning to witness. Seeing that level of bat activity around the home while continuing to find evidence of them inside makes it difficult to believe the problem is being effectively addressed. At this point, I have very little confidence that the root cause of the problem is being properly addressed. We have no idea how many bats may be present in the structure, and the fact that they are entering occupied living areas raises serious health and safety concerns. I understand that bats are protected during certain times of the year, but when wildlife is actively invading living spaces, homeowners need clear guidance, communication, and responsive service. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. I constantly feel like I'm the one managing the process and chasing down answers. Based on my experience, Critter Control of Orlando has shown poor communication, unreliable scheduling, and a lack of urgency regarding an issue that directly impacts my family's health and safety.

He pitched his nonsense and somehow convinced my husband to have someone come out. We have been borderline forced to use this company for months now and I've only seen someone maybe twice. We have ants everywhere and I mean everywhere. Large bull ants coming into our home, into our children's bedrooms, tiny ants on counters and on window sills, and I am just super displeased with this service. I called today to cancel only to be told we were locked in to an 18 month contract!!! Mind you we were never told this on the front end which is deception. Upon reading the other reviews, I now see I am not the only one who has had this experience sadly. We do plan to contact our contractual attorney to reach out to who ever owns this shady business. And, to whom ever comments on their google account, please do not send some copy and paste rebuttal comment that you have said to every other person who has complained. Take some ownership of how you do business and make it right for those of us who are not happy and have been deceived by your slimy sales people who solicit business in a No Soliciting Neighborhood.

Read my Google review for full details. The BBB and Consumer Affairs received the same information. I discovered reading through all the BBB complaints that so many people have had the same experience as me- incomplete services, misrepresentation, and being harassed by the billing department in Cincinnati, who are a bunch of robots from what my experience has indicated. In fact, I just recently remembered that Jose Diaz, the sales guy that came to our home, told me that people don't know that they're talking to AI on the other end of their line. Wake up people, this is what you get with ARTIFICIAL "intelligence". After all the requests, and then demands that they only communicate with me in writing, I finally received something in writing this evening... An email from their collection agency in California. This is the problem with this company... You deal with people here locally for the service, but the billing department is in Cincinnati and then their bulldog company/collection agency is in California. My experience has indicated that none of them talk to each other except to attack with the collections agency by the billing department. Only deal with companies where everything is local! Yesterday, I received a text from David, who I assume is a manager, he's never identified himself as to his job title, that stated he had been working on my account and that the balance was adjusted to zero. And then today I get the collections agency email demanding payment. I am posting a screenshot of David's text. He may work out of the Altamonte Springs location but it's really hard to get any information from these people. Be sure to read through all the BBB complaints,. Rentokil has bought Terminix as well and some complaints indicate there may be other companies that Rentokil has bought. It seems they've grown too big for their britches and that has made their services deplorable. Also be sure to search Indeed and Glassdoor for employee reviews. There are some real whopper stories out there. Seems to be a good indicator why their services have so many complaints from customers. If you're stupid enough to call these people and begin service, make sure you demand EVERY DETAIL discussed be IN WRITING BEFORE you sign their little iPad. Because once you sign, that's when the nightmare begins.

I have been waiting for a " manager: Creg Johnson to call me back regarding my refund. I also canceled service and they had the nerve to send me a text asking for a review... HORRIBLE SERVICE.. WELL ACTUALLY NO SERVIOCE AT ALL !!! Not to mention the exterminator Cole is clueless as to what should be done and when.. will be contacting BBB
