I ordered two roller shades. The salesperson, Kelly, was very nice. Then, a person came to measure…read morethe windows for the shades. I picked up the shades from the store. I am handy (e.g., able to replace ceiling fan with light) and went to install the shades. Four screws for each window with clear directions, easy, right? The shades did not fit into the brackets provided. I contacted Blinds to Go, and having them do the installation would cost me $82.50. If the shades did not fit, they would reorder at their cost, but I still had to pay the $82.50. The installer, Carlos, was able to install the shades. Carlos had to use a special screw and could only get one screw in one bracket on each window. The shade measurement should be done so the homeowner can install it according to the instructions! The Customer Service Department called me to collect payment. I gave them a credit card number, not once but twice, and it "did not go through" twice. I gave another card number, again, not once but twice, and twice, it "did not go through." There were FOUR attempts to enter a credit card, and the person could not do it. I verified both cards afterward, and there were no problems with the cards. I will not deal with Blinds To Go. The product was made so the homeowner could not install and the Customer Service Department was inept.

The other company is experience, but does not explain exactly what they are ordering for you or I wouldn't have had the issue I had with the blinds/shutters. I have in my house. I started this project in March 2025 did not get any installation for over four months and was given all types of excuses from the owner David. He then discounted me some money off of My order because of how long it was taking used every excuse as a delay by the vendor delay by the VP of the vendor, etc.. The shutters that were installed were made to supposedly tilt both ways and is why they don't close completely, which I was never asked that question my other shutters in the rest of my house are not made that way and closed and block out lots of light. They also have framing from the top and the bottom that hide 11 inches of light coming into my house instead of just putting another slat in the shutter and making the top and the bottom only 3 to 3 1/2 inches. David then stated after I refuse to pay any more money because he said I didn't have to until they were fixed. He took over six weeks and still never communicated to me until I wrote a review and then that's when he again spoke up. Again, giving me excuses that he was waiting for the item to come in. This gentleman should not own a business because he gives most of his money away to fix the problems that he calls because he has lack of communication and doesn't properly order the product or higher the right subcontractors to help him out. This is definitely a buyer beware situation.
