I signed up for this company as a solo practice to use the EHR. You would need to be a software engineer to understand it. Their training videos are not even organized into numerical order or logical sense. I had one training session with this company and explored the software for 2 days of videos after signing a 12 month contract. I immediately recognized this software is designed for hospitals or large practices, not single use companies. I immediately canceled my contract and they want $600 to cancel it. I stated I would be leaving reviews for their company and they escalated it to requiring me to pay 12 months of a product I never used. That's $2,268.00 and asked me to provide my attorney information. I am filing a complaint with the state of NJ Consumer Affairs to mediate this company's practices. Broken portal with AdvancedMD = No new clients! I attempted to set up an EHR with this company and at the end of the set-up, when I was ready to go live, I discovered that the portal did not work to connect prospective patients to me. I spent weeks trying to resolve this issue with the company and was told that it was my computer, my Internet, my firewall... I reported the issue of a broken portal multiple times to numerous IT and other AdvancedMD staff with no resolution to the issue. The portal only worked when I had 5 bars for Internet connectivity in a nearby city. As a telehealth provider, I expect many of my prospective patients to be living in rural environments without access to care and will likely also have imperfect Internet connectivity. Because of this serious defect in this EHR service, I canceled the contract with AdvancedMD and have found another EHR provider with a more robust portal. Unfortunately, the company continued to bill monthly for a product I would never use until the one year contract was up. I wasted thousands of dollars. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! AdvancedMD is a "slam bam, no support " kind of company. You should expect little to no help once they receive payment. The Implementation team was essentially useless. Their idea of help is a list of "training" websites with subpar, superficial content. They struggled to answer basic user questions. They seemingly had no medical practice experience or knowledge. Technical support responses are slow and typically inept. It's been pure and utter frustration from day one! Please don't do it!! read more

Their software runs fairly well, however, you can never get an answer from support when needed. They have support staff who have no idea how to resolve issues, no one answers your request for a return phone call, and professional development is a joke. The billing module has no area for collection balances.... are you kidding me?? We have been customers for years and yet 8 phone calls and several text messages since June, and still no call back. I am currently working on Implementation of their entire system as a new account and it has been the worst experience of my career. I am been involved in several EHR/PM changes and implementations from Office Ally, Bizmatics, Carelogics, KIPU and have never had to deal with as many issues as I have with AdvancedMD. Their sales team was very attentive until we signed our agreement and has since become unavailable for anything needed. We have weekly meetings with the implementation rep who we ask questions and are told she needs to go to sales to get answers. Week after week this same thing happens. We ask to speak with their supervisor and we never get the call backs. The sales are often out of the office and out of town. We get emails weeks later...no progress...no answers. Our office is getting ready to open and we are struggling to get our providers loaded in the system, fee schedules loaded, updated Training roadmap, even a copy of our BAA. This has been a challenging experience and they do not have the proper staff in place to get things processed timely and get answers to questions. If this is our experience as a new customer I am concerned if this is the right relationship and may need to revert to our 2nd choice EMR which is much cheaper anyway. read more

I had a horrible sales experience with this company. They had a promotion going on for billing services with our practice management software. When I inquired about it the sales agent would call me around the clock. He would even call my cell phone, times when I wouldn't even be at work yet! He put a lot of pressure on me to sign by certain deadline even though my boss was out of town and said if we needed to cancel he would honor it 100%. Once my boss came back and reveiwed the software he wasn't comfortable proceeding. So I emailed the agent twice and never heard back. Because I never signed up for software usage and nobody trained us I assumed everything was canceled. Fast forward months in advance and I find credit card charges from ADP. I contact the agent. No response. Call them directly and they tell me that they can't do anything. Secretary told me if I stopped payment they would send me to collections! I have to speak to him. Call his boss and email him and finally get a response. Just shady sales tactics. I never used the software so I cannot vouch for how well it works but I think people should be aware of their sales tactics. read more

This is THE WORST Practice Management system I have ever seen. Run like the wind if they try to get you to buy their product. I had trouble giving them one star but it's the only way to get my comments to show. UNWORKABLE scheduler. You have to click on some many fields to accomplish anything. These people have no clue about how a physician's office works. Their support is horrid. Shady characters through and through. I guess they are in business because their basic program is relatively cheap. You absolutely get what you pay for with these clowns. read more
