I was recommended to use Law Firm Sites from a friend of mine. I had a Wix site before and didn't have a lot of budget to work with. I wanted to get a simple site and upgrade it over time. They told me I could do that and it would be free for a year. It took me about 6 months to get to the first revision but they did it quickly and was better than I thought it would be. I also like the logo they made for me. I was going to sell my books over my website but I didn't want to pay the merchant account processing fees. I was told that there are a couple of other ways to sell my book and because it wasn't strictly law related it may dilute the message. That was some bold advice that was hard to swallow but I am glad they had enough courage to tell me. I generate 2-3 cases per month from my simple site. I think the Wix site was scaring people away because it just didn't reflect the professional nature of my practice. It was a good site but just didn't reflect my brand like I wanted it to. The team communicated with me just like they said they would. That was impressive. I didn't love having to use their interface but once I got the hang of it, it was better than email. I could easily see the chain of conversation and it was easy for me to pick up where I left off. Having free hosting and tech support really helped me make the decision to go with them. First, they built me a free design before I purchased. I really liked that. The second thing they did was give me a couple of options and weren't pushy about it. The last thing was they actually did what they said they would and produced a great site for me. It took a little longer than I wanted but I got busy and couldn't spend as much time on it as I wanted. There are a lot of options out there for websites for lawyers. We feel what we paid for the site was a good value. The content writing was good but not great. We had to adjust it a bit but that was to be expected. Overall a really good experience. read more
