Avi on plumbing played a crucial role in ensuring that all the plumbing fixtures were installed correctly and efficiently. Rodrigo was the BEST tile guy we've ever worked with...we thank him for being so precise and patient. Anna joined the team mid project and she has been great - so responsive to any issues and managing the team and the project. Kelly, the BEST designer and partner to work with. We're not done with you...I can't wait to create more beautiful spaces. You're amazing! Lastly, Manny. Many owners just come by to pick up the check. Manny was available all the time. Period. Checking in always, taking calls, coming up with solutions...just being involved fully in the project from start to finish. That was most appreciated and very rare. We've gone back and forth on whether to write a review, as it certainly isn't a good one and we…read moredon't take these things lightly. However, the work Aromas did on the floors of our home is so atrocious that others should be made aware. We had a pipe break in our home last year and it caused significant damage to the first floor and the basement of our new construction home. On the first floor, one half of the wood floor needed to be replaced (ironically, the poor leveling from the builder allowed for only half of the floor to be impacted). Because we were new home owners, brand new to the area, and expecting our twins in less than two months, we went with the recommendation of a local expert and hired Aromas to do the floor. We continue to pay the price for this poor decision, as the quality continues to deteriorate. The repairs took over a month, and despite a lot of back and forth about mismatched coloring, wood marks, etc., the floors were "completed" with numerous splits and defects. Enough so that the company's owner came out to see the work. While they attempted to fill some of the larger cracks, it was done very sloppily and fixed nothing. What's done is done, but it's shocking to see how one side of the floor differs from the other. Please see the included photos for proof. The difference in quality is obvious and it's unfortunate. In retrospect, I wish they took longer to provide a higher quality product. But more than anything, I wish we never hired them. The floors split more and more every day, and are now becoming hazardous to our small children who are now crawling and running around with bare feet. Be warned.

Our privacy is gone because they've put all these windows in,. Etc etc etc.... these guys are jerks. They say and do 1 nice thing the rest is tough for you. 4 people on our street can't stand one thing or another these people do. I wii NEVER change a review. These people deserved the 1 star if that. I can't wait til they just leave. 8, 9pm banging so ignorant. It's obvious it's this groups flip it's a disaster.

His crew came out near the end of 2017 and put the fence up, and everything looked great for some time. However, we've been having issues over the last few months with the top tracks coming out of the posts in many of the sections because the clips are not holding in the post. We had higher than average winds the other night and 2 sections completely blew out and the tops rails fell out of some of the posts. I contacted Jason and he told me I can put the fence up myself or he'd charge me to send someone out because it's an act of god... I told him about the issues with the top rails and that the clips could be defective, but he blamed it on the manufacture. I found videos of installers using screws to secure the top rails inside the post from inside the post. Var did this in a few sections but not all. I figured the installers forgot to put a screw in most of the other posts, but Jason said they only use screws in certain areas and it's at the installer's discretion. It seems to me that Jason is pretty much telling me that it's not his problem. Why should he care? I believe it's possible that he is making money sending his people out to reinstall fencing after it falls down while standing behind his "act of god" phrase like a shield. In my opinion, the fence is poor quality and the Var installers failed to inspect the product during installation and used poor judgment in adding additional fasteners as needed to ensure a quality install. The support I'm receiving from Var so far leaves a lot to be desired. I suggest not using Var for a fence install, and look for a fence company that will stand behind their work. Save yourself the aggravation...

They were extremely responsive throughout the whole process. From estimate to the end of the job. They always arrived to my house when they said they were going to (8a). They dealt with parking in the city without complaint. The price was exactly what I thought it should be, which was extremely fair and reasonable. I felt VERY safe and comfortable leaving their team in my house without me there. They were on time every morning (5 days of work), very clean and neat, and took off EVERY switch plate in the rooms that were painted! I was beyond impressed, they worked efficiently and were very helpful in doing some other repairs that were longstanding annoyances around my house. I will be using you all again!
