Doc sent my order to Providence Hospital Lab... Next day April 23, just got done with blood draw Providence at its 104th Ave outlet only a mile from my house. We set up our appointment for walk in said 940am. it was 9 when we set the appointment. Said we would wait in car. waiting till 945 then went into the lobby, never was notified, talked to a person when they picked up someone who we watched walk in sign up and get served before us. they said to re sign up, WTF! we did new time 1030am. we waited and did get served but this process sucks. Staff was nice the only reason we gave 2 stars. We brought a box to get completed but they can't do this. Frustrating. We continued to go thru with the other items needed but probably didn't need to get done here. We paid $148 for the bloodwork but this would have been free or less at the second location we went to. I am frustrated because they should have told us to just check there before we went thru the bloodwork here. I feel for the staff because it seems like this place is just struggling with staffing and everything but there has to be a better way. This is not quality of care. I'm looking for when getting blood work done. Unfortunately this is one of the only options in town and the other options that we have are just as bad as this one.

I hope employers are reading these. I've been on both sides of this system. They are the worst…read moreclinic to send your employees. Not only do the mistreat your employees but they overstep their treatment and leave the employer with exposure and risk for legal action. From the employee standpoint it's a horrible place to go. Waiting 45 minutes to be seen and then having them tell my husband he needs to fill out paperwork. Then throwing out my urine for the UA. All while treating him as though he was lucky to be there. On top of that I gathered all the documents required. I submitted them 3 times. Then they are denied because they don't see a form that was included. I could go on but we've been run in circles and mistreated. Avoid this place at all costs! UPDATE: because we called and complained about having to redo all the documents because the new PA hadn't requested them the PA called my husband's employer and said he shouldn't be working anywhere. He hasn't lost his job but Beacon has again overstepped. Perfect example of what I stated originally.

In fact they told me the office chooses to charge $900 but Premera will only go as high as $500. I have had type 1 diabetes for 50 years. I see specialists for my type 1 diabetes, my kidneys, and my eyes. I rarely pay more than my co-pay, and they are looking at labs and doing a more higher quality of care. In this particular case, besides my co-pay I am paying almost another $200. DO NOT USE THEM! They need to lower their prices, my suggestion is get a home test and save your money from this ridiculous office.
