He's not fancy (sorry david), he doesn't have the trendy office on Abbot Kinney or a team of 30 minions harassing every lead they come across. No, he keeps it simple, to the point and gets you the best deal he possibly can. If you want an investment that you'll love to live in then go with David. If you want to be shown every listing on the MLS without any regard to what's actually going to benefit you, then go with all the others (you know who they are). Here are the facts: We bought a condo per David's advise in 2013. This was an 8-month process by the way, and the condo we ended up buying was a short sale which took another 8 months to close. David was "ON" every day of that transaction with us. Actually, we wanted the first floor unit that was move in ready and not a short sale but David strongly argued against that. He wanted us in the 3rd floor unit (top floor) with the high ceilings that needed some work. We finally listened to him, waited 8 months for it to close then put a little money into and man oh man was he right. The first floor unit later sold around the time our unit did, but for over 100K less than ours. This was a huge deal. Any other agent would have gladly made the easy sell and given us what we "thought" we wanted. David's hourly rate probably dropped so low over the entire transaction and for not much gain, but he did it because he knew it was the right way to go. In the condo had a kid and needed more space plus wanted to be in an area with good schools, so we sold the condo in 2018 without putting it on the market to a buyer David found us. We sold it for the highest price per sq ft in the area at the time, and pulled away a HUGE profit. With the profit David found us a huge house for a great price that he negotiated in Culver City, again, off market! If we needed to bid for this house with all the other anxious, aggressive buyers there is no way we would have been able to come close to buying the 2,400 sq ft house in Culver. NO WAY. And of course, this was no walk in the park escrow either, but per usual David stuck with it and got the deal done for us. David is a real agent. If you're even partially interested in buying anything talk with him for 10 minutes first. read more
