I loved working with Amy! I gave her a call to get started with the home buying process. I saw a few places with her in one day - I found that she's super honest with her opinions. She would let me know things that worried her as well as things that I shouldn't worry about when looking to purchase a home. It turned out that the property I liked was pretty competitive - I think there were 3-4 other offers. Our previous agent, whom I won't name on this review, couldn't get us the house over 4 tries! His responses were painfully slow. Sure, our 1st bid was on the cheaper end; but, ended up increasing our future offers. Lowball offers doesn't mean anything if you don't get the home. We thought we had the highest bid on a townhouse in MDR but still lost! This infuriated us. Market information he provided varied from week to week and often incorrectly. The previous agent had the volume of sales and advertised a lot but seemed a bit distant and even a tad arrogant. I had to cut the rope and move in a new direction. So we hesitantly changed the RE agent. During our RE agent search, we got introduced to Amy by a old friend who works at Google. He explained that he and his wife had an amazing, more importantly, a successful experience. So we decided to contact Amy for assistance. We continue to thank our buddy for introducing us to Amy. Yes, in short, we got the house! :) Amy was professional and knowledgeable. It didn't hurt to learn she was one of the top award winner with Keller Williams. In truth, she didn't even tell us about the awards until we asked but it's apparently the top award from a nation brokerage. Home purchase experience was still emotionally charged but much smoother. The home we submitted a bid for had 11 offers. We really didn't think we were going to get this home but somehow she called us with the good news! We were shocked. Honestly, we didn't believe her at first. I think my dog even tilted his head sideways. We started to believe her when she started asking for the financials and to get us going. This stunned us for in a good way! It seemed like she knew everybody involved in the process. The financing part was also difficult but fared much better than a few of our friends. I won't go into details but the banks wouldn't tell us the loan was approved until a few days prior to the closing date! I guess it could've been worst as we've heard some horror stories of how the loans got pushed back or failed. Sigh.... We moved in about 6 month ago and are still getting situated. But this was the first and only painful move we smiled though. It's an emotionally exhausting experience where the reward was worth the pain. Surprisingly, our home value has already gone up higher than expected! :) Amy's a true professional. We don't think we would've got our home without her help.
