We had a squirrel family living in our roof, so this company came out and set up a trap--charged us $200+ and said they'd come back in a week to check the trap. They never came back. I called many times and left voicemails, and I emailed them 5 times--one time they responded saying they were sick over the holidays and would get back to us--and then again never responded after multiple attempts. The trap is STILL sitting on top of our 3rd floor roof TWO YEARS LATER, which can't be removed without a special ladder that we do not own, and the squirrels are still running amuck. My Review is not as a customer but my interaction with their employee today warranted this review. I was driving on a two lane road when I approached an intersection. I was in the right lane and I pulled up next to Keith driving a white work vehicle marked with advantage wildlife's business name, logo and 2 phone numbers. when the light changed my plan was to pull in front of the work vehicle before the lanes went down from two to one. Instead of letting me in, Keith, gunned his engine and attempted to run me off the road. I was forced to abruptly brake or I would have collided with his vehicle. I was very stunned and upset by this behavior and immediatly dialed the number on the side of the van 513 553 18888. I was behind Keith at the next light and started to describe him to the woman on the phone who said she was part owner of the company. Keith got out of his vehicle (his shirt was marked with the company logo and the name Keith on the left breast area) Keith approached my vehicle. I told Keith I was on the phone with his boss and he had no reason to run me off the road when I was trying to merge. Keith proceded to tell me that he "did not give a fuck" He told me that "he would beat my ass" and called me a "f'ing F&%*&t" He did all of this after being told that I was on the telephone with a representative from the company he worked for, while wearing their shirt. If Keith is comfortable enough to engage me in that manner and assault me in the legal sense of the word while on the job and driving in a marked vehicle then there must be something in that companies culture that condones this type of behavior read more

What I've learned being a homeowner, when you need work done, you can ask your family, Facebook friends, Twitter and look on Yelp but you're almost always starting from scratch when seeking a service. When it comes to critters on your property, unless you're adventurous you're probably looking for someone else to help. The thing is to get an idea of what this is going to cost, you have to pay a taxable service fee. All of these places charge a fee starting at $130 and up to $179, best I can tell this fee is based on where you live in proximity to their business. In the critter getter business, there are no free estimates. After calling numerous places, trying to find one that could work in my schedule and finally choosing one, I felt obligated to continue with service or else find someone else who could do animal removal and then any home repair, if needed. This place said they would refund the service fee once the work was completed. Except they didn't and this is probably because despite a detailed write up and talking my ear off, he didn't communicate this to his office staff. Keep your records, make sure you have them write down everything so you can settled up. This is hopefully my only experience with a critter getter service and it was fine albeit expensive. The goal is to never see this guy again because he did the work correctly and took preventive measures. Only time will tell. read more

Horrible company! The worst customer service that I ever experienced in my life. If you call to ask them to come out to evaluate an issue that you've already paid them for, they're slow with responding back. When they do respond, it's usually via text instead of returning a phone call. They'll come up with a variety of excuses as to why they couldn't call right back. "My husband was in a car accident", My car broke down", "I was in a meeting", "I was on the phone with another client" and the list goes on and on. The service techs are very unprofessional and aren't knowledgeable. They seemingly are only interested in getting your initial payment for service and then it's down hill from there as the "follow-up" to rid your home of it's pest issue is a joke. *** I wish that I could give them a "0", but unfortunately that's not an option. read more

This is by far the worse company I have ever dealt with. They even came recommended from another animal removal company that did not service our area. On first impression I was impressed. They were timely getting out to our house and seemed thorough. Although I am a first time home owner and I had never had to personally deal with rodents living in my attic till now. The gentlemen seemed professional and knowledgeable. So they set a trap. It was very inconvenient that every day I had to go out before 9am and check the trap and text or call them to tell them if it was empty or not. Or be charged $70 a day for them to send someone out. We had it up there for a few weeks never caught anything. They called saying they wanted to move it to a new location. They came out again in a timely manner and moved it. Again weeks went by and we caught nothing. It had been over a month. We were getting ready to leave town for vaca and I did not expect my house sitter to get up every morning to check the trap. So I called and asked them to remove it. They were super nice said they understood and would come out and remove it. I asked about a promised estimate to tell us what we could do to prevent future infestations. The very polite lady said she'd email it over. And here is where I lost all respect for this company and their customer service. At first they would play phone tag. Say they would get it out the next day. Never received it. Called again. Was told oh yes someone forgot but would have it out to me by the next day. Again never received it. Then my calls stopped being answered. I left multiple voice messages, and texts. All went unanswered. All I wanted was to know what they had found to repair so we didn't getting any more rodents. I spent a month trying to contact them. Never heard a thing back and now our problem is back!!! Would have to agree with other reviewers, they do a half ass job and then just take your money and leave you with the same problem you started with. read more

They won't guarantee their services unless you hire them to wildlife-proof your home afterwards at ridiculously inflated costs (like a chimney company would charge you $150 to cap your chimney but Advantage will charge you $400). Then they won't actually deliver on the services you've contracted them to complete. You'll spend months calling them on a weekly basis asking where your chimney cap is because of course they won't call you at any point. You'll receive some non-excuse from the rude phone lady, empty promises of the task being completed the following week, then you'll do it all again the next week. I will say that the man who came out to physically remove the wildlife was very nice. read more

This company is terrible. We paid them $180 to check our entire house and they never completed the whole home inspection. Each time an animal was trapped they were so delayed in picking up the animal that it usually died. Overall it has been several months, almost $300, and we still have an animal problem. Also, the woman who answers the phones is really nice, but don't be tricked she makes several promises the company never keeps. read more

When I first used them for a squirrel capture they were prompt and responded well. However they did not return calls to finish the closure of the ingress area as quoted. A raccoon came in before they came back and that was 2.5 months ago. Trap was set once and tripped but no raccoon. Since that time trap is open but no bait and after several left messages with no returned calls I have gone to another company. The person who is managing the office is never there to pick out a call, there is no email to raise them, on the rare occasion you connect with her commitments are made that don't get met. This is the most frustrating experience I have had as a homeowner. You will pay $169 for Advantage Wildlife to set traps and that is about where it ends. You can tell them that you see animals getting in other ways, but the extremely nice woman on the phone, who will not let you get a word in, will make a promise and you will never see anything change from her promise. I had a very good experience with Advantage Wildlife Removal. It was discovered that I had mice in a wall void. They returned to distribute the poison I bought after the initial inspection. Many months later I heard noises again the same area. They came out again, at no charge, and thoroughly inspected my attic and the outside of the home and showed me the pictures from many angles. There was no evidence by sight or smell that I had animals in the attic or walls. We discovered it had been a tree branch hitting the gutter that mimicked the sounds i heard. Despite the tech coming back and spending a lengthy amount of time with his inspection, the company didn't charge me. I had the tree trimmed and the noises are gone.
