Service is always on point. Entire staff is super cool. Short waits most times and courteous staff. Doctors are so nice :-)

My wife was not feeling well. Was pretty sure it wasn't a flu or COVID, and would likely need lab work to determine the cause of her not feeling well. She called Centra Care and asked if the providers would be able to write a script for lab testing. She was told yes. Went for the visit, paid her $50 upfront. Then was told they were sorry, but they could not write a script for lab. Staff was empathetic, and admitted that at times they do give scripts for lab. Waste of time and feels like we should able to get our money back? read more

Please note that if you make an appointment here for a COVID test, you are NOT actually making an appointment. The time is irrelevant, you're only booking a slot to be seen at SOME POINT on the day of your appointment. This isn't made clear anywhere on the site and is very misleading. Everyone walked in on time for their booked time only to be told there's a wait. So far I have waited over an hour after being told it would be 30-45 min. There are still several people ahead of me before I will be seen. If timing is important to you, I would not recommend using this clinic unless you have all day to waste in the lobby. read more

I arrived here around 6:10pm this evening and was seen approximately 8:30pm. When I called previously to coming here I was told it'd be about 90 minutes less or more. And at that time there were no more appointment slots available. I was going to go to Apopka, but since I wasn't feeling well and I needed to gas up my car. I decided to go to the next closest and highly rated urgent care. This one was on the list. And I didn't have to stop and gas up the vehicle haha. I can do that tomorrow. Now back to my experience. The staff that checked me in was friendly. I was really cold and she said it was okay to go to my car or she could also give me a blanket to use while waiting in the waiting room. I opted to go to my car and make some business calls. She said be sure to be back in by 7:15pm. Got it. I returned and asked for a bottle of water which they have in a little refrigerator type of deal which keeps it cold. I sat and read while waiting my turn. Now I did notice that this place is not absurdly clean. There was a big black spot in one of the waiting rooms that needed desperate cleaning from a professional or replacement altogether... When it was my turn the nurse apologized for the wait and took my vitals, height and weight. I followed her to the room I was going to be in which was room 7. I used the restroom while back there (yes I cranked a lot of water lol) it definitely needed a new toilet and some clean floors. Oh baby Jesus please bless this establishment with a touch up. The staff was nice. I was told that one issue I had would have to be addressed by my regular doctor as they didn't have enough time (time crunch... it's now 8:36pm). That was a bummer. Overall great experience with the staff. And I'm off to do whatever it is I do best. Will be picking up meds tomorrow. I'm not giving that additional star because the place could of been cleaner. And I didn't get to address all 3 of my issues this evening. 2/3 is not bad, but next time I'll try to get here a little earlier. read more

Went in to get COVID tested. Great staff there with Beverly, Nathaly and Rhonda; each of these three women displaying great customer service and attention. The ONLY reason they didn't get four stars is because the wait was a bit am excessive. Nearly 1.5 hours to start the test and another 20 min to get the results read back from the Doc. Would I go here again and wait? YES! Because they allowed me to do some other errands close by instead of being forced to stay on site. They did, however, ask that when they called me to come in to do so within 10 minute. Just a great staff. read more

So i went this morning because i thought i had strep. Step test came back negative. So the nurse who was nice at first turned to a childish attitide when i refused the covid test up the nose. She said i dont have time for this and spoke e to the doctor who denied my services and would no longer give me medication for the flu. It is my right as a patient to say no but he looked at my throat and said its red but denied me medication. So basically we live i. SOCIALISTIC SOCIETY. Mask up and do what i say. My wife went to get a COVID test and received a bill for $306. We picked this location for being in-network with Aetna and having a same-day appointment available. Aetna said they would pay for all COVID testing and we wouldn't be responsible out of pocket. I made a COVID test appointment online for her for this location. This office decided to do more than what our appointment was for regarding setting her up as a new patient, and the whole experience feels like a bait-and-switch scam from a dishonest company. On Sunday, October 11, 2020, my family had an urgent care need and Advent Health Centra Care in Clermont, Florida was a game changer for us. Our youngest college aged daughter had a situation that warranted medical attention. We drove to AHCC in Clermont, Florida and the two nicest young ladies- Ms. Kaitlyn and Mrs.Tamara helped us immediately. They were very attentive to our daughter's needs and our concerns as the parents. Given that we are in a pandemic - COVID-19, every step of the way with regards to CDC guidelines was impeccable. The entire medical team showed care, compassion and ultimately a solution to get our daughter's health back on track. I would not hesitate to bring my family to this urgent care center again. They were wonderful. Thank you for having excellent customer service associates and an awesome medical team. read more

Just called in to see what the self pay is. I explained I am having pretty severe pain and what seems to be a pancreas or gallbladder issue. I asked The receptionist how much it would be for a self-pay to come in and get checked out and maybe get some antibiotics. She told me it was $209.25 just to see the doctor and then whatever tests would be extra on top of that. This is self pay. When I confirmed the price with her and said I could not afford that she said OK have a nice day and hung up before I can even get the chance to ask if they suggested somewhere else that I may be able to go it would be a little bit cheaper. I work front desk for a clinic, I would never hang up on someone like that, ESPECIALLY if they're in pain. Maybe have a little more compassion if you're going to choose to work in a field that is about healing. read more

We were quickly assessed by B. Texidor - ARPN and appreciated her thoroughness and warm demeanor. I specifically said I did not consent to something because it was too dangerous for me due to a pre-existing medical condition. The nurse practitioner completely disregard what I said, went against my stated refusal of said procedure, and did the procedure anyway. If you're looking for condescending medical personnel with a God complex that lead them to pose a danger to some patients, look no further. read more

We had an appointment and were seen 40 minutes after our scheduled time. When we were seen, the issue at hand was completely ignored. They did not understand what we needed after explaining clearly 3 different times. I wish I could give no stars because one is extremely generous. You're better off staying in your home then going here and being forced to do things you don't want to do. The red head clerk in the front was very rude and malicious and was the opposite of helpful. I was looking for my insurance and she wanted to hold on to my card to run it the full amount out of pocket ($275). On top of that the blonde nurse who saw us in the back and the black floater nurse with the contacts were even less helpful. I asked the black floater nurse what they were testing my boyfriend for and she straight up told me that she doesn't even know. How do you not know? All she was focused on was getting people in and getting people out, very unprofessional and just straight up rude. Six months later, I'm still thinking about the great appointment I had here! I was visiting my parents from New York, and it was four days before Christmas. I thought I had an ear infection, and my voice was completely gone. I found this place on Yelp, and decided to give it a try. The front desk staff was very warm and caring, showing genuine empathy for me and all the patients who came in after me. With no voice, I could only whisper that I needed to see the doctor. After filling out some paperwork, I had a short wait. The triage nurse was kind. The doctor had a great conversation with me, and determine I needed antibiotics for bronchitis and sinus infection. The after care instructions were clear and easy to understand. Within two days of starting the antibiotics, I was feeling much better and got my voice back in time for Christmas. I hope I don't need to come back :) If I do, I will definitely return here! read more

I gave a two star rating simply because the front desk people were amazing. However, the nurse practitioner (Tamika Dowling) who I was treated by today was quite the contrary. When she asked my symptoms I told her I was running a fever on two different days. I was literally on fire. I was at work at did not take my temp, but it's not hard to know when you are running a fever. She stated, "Oh this was a subjective fever." This was very rude and did not sit well with me. After a quick swab, I was told I didn't have the flu and that it must be a virus. She may have been right, but would it have hurt to give me an antibiotic just in case? I have been very sick for three days and felt like I was breezed over. read more

Very poor customer service, had an appointment at 10am and didn't get called to see the physician until 1pm 3 hours late, I had to basically yell at the lady for her to see what's was the hold up, meanwhile the place is ice cold in side was freezing , I will definitely never go back to this facility. Although some of the staff is nice several of them had a bored bad attitude. After being diagnosed with pneumonia one of the staff said she felt bad for the friends I was staying with, she didn't say she felt bad that I had pneumonia but she pitied my friends. Was prescribed amoxicillin for pneumonia, my new doctor laughed at this prescription. After four visits, that's right four visits they suggested I go to the emergency room because they said the x-ray showed something wrong with my lymph node in my lung area. I'm in the new hospital now and they laughed at this diagnosis as well... said lymph nodes don't show up on x-ray. Seems they specialize in basically nothing and are probably only good at giving amoxicillin for strep. read more

Never again! Go here if you have nothing to do but sit here and wait all day! I'm not exaggerating either. Upon arrival I was informed there was a two hour wait.. I proceeded to fill out the forms and waited. 2 hours turns into 3, then upon calling your name they sit you in a room where the nurse checks your vitals etc. Places you in another room and says "you're next to be seen by the Dr". Well, 15 min later nothing, 30 min later nothing, an hour more later and no sign of the Dr. I literally had to lose it to get serviced. After alll this is an urgent care!?!! Well, definitely no sense of urgency and the Dr although a pretty "nice person" doesn't seem to realize the importance and value of patient experience. So in a nutshell, after 5 1/2 hours I guess I can say I was seen and diagnosed by the physician. Good thing I went to urgent care.... Save your money and time and go elsewhere. read more

10/10, would come again. Decent wait- 45 minutes (as predicted by front desk when I came in). Problems with my insurance co-pay, but front desk staff (a nice Indian girl)had me call my insurance to sort it out so I didn't get stuck with a huge bill later. 5 minute wait in a back room before seeing doctor who got right to business and sorted out my problem in 10 minutes. If I could give negative five stars I would. Staff in the back really rude. I told the doctor about my symptoms and what I know the problem is Because of my history, and he treated me as if I had to prove it somehow and that I was wrong, but he was at least willing to try to do some testing. Then A Nurse (Jennifer) came in simply because I was disagreeing with the doctor and she walked in the door like I was going to be difficult patient. They told me that I had to prove that I Was unable to empty my bladder and had to pee. When I came out of the bathroom, I told Jennifer "I cannot pee that is why I am swollen all over". The girl told me wait 30 more minutes and try again. I looked at her and plainly stated "you don't understand I cannot pee". She replied, "don't yell at me". I said "I'm not yelling". She disagreed with me and then told me that I better stop yelling because we weren't going to have any of that! I had NOT yelled! She was clearly gaslighting me. It worked, because I replied with "I did not yell...THIS IS YELLING!!" I was not about to let her stick a needle in me after that attitude. So we walked out. I guess I will just call an ambulance from home in the middle of the night and have them take me to any other hospital except this one. I would not bring my dog to this ER!!! read more

I'd rather swallow a jean jacket than ever do business with this company. I called before making my way to the location and was told "come right in!". Living only exactly 4min down the road I enter the clinic to a cess pool of covid patients and was turned away because I myself do not have Covid. Not a single employee was wearing a mask, not a single patient was wearing a mask, and every single covid patient was waiting INSIDE the facility vs waiting in their cars. Centra care clermont compromised my health and the health of everyone else. The way they operate is unethical. Preaching that "walkins are welcome 7 days a week!" And "everyone is welcome!". All turned out to be lies since I was turned away because I did not have Covid. Just because I don't have Covid doesn't mean I'm not sick. Do better adventhealth. Do much much better for the sake of our community and everyone that tries their best to stay covid free. Maybe a more knowledgeable front desk staff will start you guys off on a better path. read more

This is the worst care center I have ever been to. The help at the front desk has a bad attitude and should not be greeting the public. When a person comes to a center like this they need help not added stress. I used this care center when I was diagnosed with covid. The front desk help was more worried about a $80 copay than anything else. As it turned out there was no copay. I left the center crying because of the way I was treated. My husband had an accident and went to this care center to get a chest X-Ray and ended up leaving because of the treatment by the front desk. How can people who work in health care be so rude!! When a person works in the public they need to remember their manners and treat others the way they want to be treated. I have visited other AdventHealth Centra Care centers and have received very good and helpful care. I would suggest new front desk help for this centra care. read more

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Today 4/16/21 the lady who was working check in was so rude. My husband and I made reservations for COVID testing. This morning we got a generic text "come inside to finish paperwork." But then received several other emails and texts saying to complete registration online. Being that we were there for active COVID symptoms I thought finishing it online was the proper thing to do. Even at the end of the online check in it stated to stay in your car and someone would contact you. We waited over an hour, no big deal I figured it'd be a long wait. I had to go in to use the restroom, so I figured I'd ask about the wait. I explained that we did the online check in and I was checking to make sure that we were actually on their list. She just wanted my ID and insurance card so I went back out to the car to grab it. I came back up and she stared at me, so I said I'm back with the IDS. I repeated my original question " I wanted to make sure that we were actually on the list because we've been waiting over an hour and did the check in online process." She asked "didn't you get a text telling you to come inside?" I said yes but I received other messages to do it online. She cut me off and raised her had saying "hear me out hear me out did you or did you not receive a text instructing you to come inside?" She was raising her voice, speaking over me and taking to me like I was a child. I had already said yes I received that text but I received others giving their instructions clearly I didn't listen to the one text so I'm not sure why dwelling on the miscommunication was relevant to this woman. Being a Heath care professional I'm VERY dissatisfied and disappointed with this interaction. I will be contacting the proper channels because this just embarrassing for Advent Health to have someone greeting patients this way. read more

My husband and I were visiting in the area when he started having chest and back tightness. We went to Clermont Centra Care and were met by a very friendly receptionist. We told her our issue, filled out a little questionnaire and were quickly seen by their physician assistant. She did an EKG and recommended that we go to the closest ER. Since we were unfamiliar with the area she gave us directions and also offered to call for an ambulance. Thankfully we did make it to the ER and after being admitted to the hospital for testing, happy to say he is recovering and feeling much better. read more
