We made an appointment ahead of time so I could get in and out with my kids. My oldest had a sore throat and I wanted to check to see if he had strep and get treatment. A sign in the waiting room said walk-ins had a two hour wait. Phew! I was so glad I made an appointment. Hahahahaha! Don't bother making an appointment. It's meaningless. There were people in the waiting room who had appointments at 9:30 and are still waiting at 11:30. Our appointment was at 10:40. I'm very tempted to leave and dispute the co-pay with my credit card company. Unfortunately this is the only choice for us on the weekend since my son's dad's insurance changed. Ugh! read more

Shittiest service I've ever seen. I came in and sarah at the front desk told me it was an hour and a half wait, considering I hade time and not many other options to go to I decided to wait. I waited for 2 hours and when I came in to ask sarah told me there was still 2 people ahead of me in line and that it bumped me to a three hour wait. If you have slow and shitty doctors let your walk ins know. That's 2 hours of my life that I wasted sitting for no reason when they could've just let me know that the doctors are slow and I could've looked for another place. People before me even got seen, in and out and I was still sitting there. If you don't know how to handle appointments AND walk ins at the same time that's a heavy personal problem for the clinic and they shouldn't take so many people. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

I had the worst experience you can imagine. waited 1 hour to be seen than another hour in the back room. the nurse was very nasty to me. and let's not forget she forgot to give my chart to the doctor and that's why I waited another hour. only reason I was seen is because I came out the room and asked what's going on she says go back to your room. I went in for Covid medicine, having tested positive for Covid and being in the 24 hour window of having Covid, I should have been able to get the medicine. On check in they had me wait in the car until called, then go into a dedicated room, all which was perfect, however, the nurse messed up my charts and I did not catch it until afterwards thst she marked the medications I was taking as part of my allergies, so it appeared the list was more extensive than it was. I left with no medications and winded up sitting out covid a week longer than I needed to if I had gotten the meds. And I had to get my online record for allergies straightened out in the Orlando Health site. My GP said he went in and did that for me. Overall, the location is very clean and the doctors extremely nice. I did go back a second time for a wound on my ear from a pet bird (lost his balance and my ear was the rope) and had it stitched up and they were great for that! They were very thorough, and caring, and they were relatively fast. The doctor did an excellent job. Saved my earlobe. read more

The front desk staff was nice and the wait was only 20 minutes. However, once I got back to the examination room I waited about an hour to be seen by the doctor. He came in and was in there less than 3 minutes. When I asked him questions his response was either to speak to my primary care provider or the nurse. Basically, he didn't want to be bothered. I guess it's right what they say -nurses do ALL the work. Anyhow my nurse seems ok nothing special but at least did what she was supposed to do. I can understand the 3 hour wait time, but I don't understand why someone with the same symptoms as me with no appointment gets seen right away and leaves before me. However, this wasn't the worst part about my visit. Dr. Richard Elloway is pretty rude and really needs to practice on his bedside manner. I've never had anyone talk to me the way he did - he just treated me like I was stupid and kept focusing on things that weren't the reason why I was there. (Btw, doc, there are plenty of people who are just here visiting and also people who just recently moved. "Do you know where you are in space and time?" is not the appropriate response to someone who doesn't know in which direction they live from the clinic. I came to get treated for my problems, NOT for a pop geography quiz). Then he was upset he didn't get to use his stupid sugar cube example and said the reason I didn't understand is cause I'm from Puerto Rico. Also, just a quick tip - when listening to a patient's heart or checking anything at all for that matter, you shouldn't say "interesting" out loud and then walk away. That's a great way to freak out a patient. Didn't they teach you this in med school? I most definitely don't want to go to the suggested clinic to see Residents, especially if they act anything like Dr. Elloway. I don't see it as a "2 for 1 deal" like he tried to portray it. And lastly, there are much better ways to recommend losing weight to anyone - especially someone who just had a baby six weeks ago. You give all young doctors a bad name. The only reason this place deserves that 1 star is because of the receptionists. They were very nice, friendly, and helpful. Keep it up, girls. Maybe you can teach the rest of the clinic a thing or two. read more

I made an appointment for my wife and daughter to get tested at 4:40pm yesterday for a Rapid Covid Test. We showed up, and they told us they were running 2 hours behind. So we had dinner and came back to get the test done 2 hours later. It's supposed to take 20 minutes for results. We didn't leave until almost 8pm. Unbelievable. I inquired at the desk how much longer it would take and the person at the front was very rude, saying I just had to wait and there is no timeline. If i could give this establishment 0 stars i would, this is by far the worst place i have ever been to for medical assistance. I came here because i had the flu, i was told by the front desk that it was a 3 hour wait time for walk-ins and that i was allowed to go home and come back when they called and said i was ready as long as i make it in 10-15 minutes. I live only 8 min away. I went home and not even 45 min later i got a phone call from the front desk lady that the doctor was ready to see me. I came back and this time it was a different front desk lady. She then told me i got pushed back to the end of the line and that there's 3 people ahead of me. Her excuse was that the person there before wasn't 100% sure of their policy. I have now wasted 2 hours of my time sitting here waiting to be seen. I will never EVER come back here, please do not come here unless you like having your time wasted. I would much rather go to the ER. read more

I hobbled in today for an injured ankle and the person at the counter did not even look up and her exact words were, "Sign your name and have a seat." No greeting, no empathy, NOTHING. I was here due to a work related injury and during the whole process of trying to look up the company name, she was very rude and argumentative. So here I am, sitting here at 4:47pm, waiting to see the doctor on my "NO WAIT" reservation that I made for 3:00pm. The front desk ladies could care less, because it is apparent that having people wait over 2 hours is an everyday thing, and they've loss the empathy to at least let me know that despite waiting those 2 hours, I still have to wait for 2 other people in front of me. I don't have a problem waiting, if thats what I signed up for. But do me a favor Centra Care, remove that false advertised "NO WAIT" reservation button so that we can make the decision to go somewhere else. The facility is clean, and peaceful. and the staff, while NOT empathetic, are resonably nice. read more

This place is terrible. I had to compete a drug test and pre-employment screening here. The nurse who assisted me threw my urine sample out. i was held at this place until I could provide a new sample. When asked to speak to a manager three nursing staff members refused to provide the detail. I was provided the details by the check in team at the front desk. read more

Clean facilities and Dr. Thermidor is very friendly and efficient if you are lucky to get her. There's the positive. Now for the rest.. The front desk employees are VERY lackadaisical and highly unprofessional. I used the online reservation service to utilize their "no wait" service. I still ended up waiting for over 40 minutes. I would definitely recommend going to another facility, but NOT the one on 535. That facility had given me 3 different diagnosis for the exact same illness, which to me personally is HIGHLY frightening. If you have the insurance to find a Doctor outside of Centra Care I would definitely suggest you do that instead. Most of my experiences at these quick fix health facilities have been pretty god awful. It's a shame that it has to be this way because the concept of the services provided is great. The type of service you actually get for the money you pay, not great in the least. I would like to add that the management WILL NOT return your calls. Made an appointment for a sick sickety sick husband to go in on a Monday (he failed to heed my warning for a flu shot). He did have to wait about 40 minutes (an eternity when you are sick) to see the dr or PA. He left with a call in Rx to the pharmacy next door (our local one) and nothing else. The thing that erases the long wait was the phone call a few days later to check up on the patient (still fairly miserable). VERY COOL! He felt cared for (and so did I by extension). I went in for a TB test to satisfy a work thing & was told it was at least a 30 min wait and they didn't take appointments for that. That was disappointing but I think they deal with angry, sick people so much that healthy, calm ones freak them out. Maybe if this location can embrace the kind of small town mentality we enjoy in this community within a city they will do well. But, they do serve a need so they will do well. Hopefully this location will take the initiative to do GREAT! read more

After waiting almost 3 hours on a regular weekday morning, we left the place without a clear diagnostic of the situation. They cost more than double of a regular doctor and do less than what a visit would accomplish. A visit to a CVS minute clinic will result exactly the same results. I expected more. Sad. read more

Maybe it's better to go through their online system, but I had visited this place recently and thought my experience was decent. So upon returning when I was violently ill, I had a terrible experience. Waited 3 hrs to be seen. Then once I was seen, the doctor spent a total of 6 minutes with me including the fact that they ran out of flu tests and couldn't really test me for the flu... But diagnosed me with flu- or another type of illness (no duh). Waited another 15 minutes to get out. Then to top it all off, they asked where I wanted my prescription to go and I informed them of a specific Walgreens. Driving took a good 40 mins to get there, and then the Walgreens never got it!! Luckily the woman at Walgreens was prompt in calling them and getting to fax over my prescription immediately. Not happy, and I'm still in debate if I want to return to this "urgent care" facility in the future. read more

I had to get a COVID rapid test and are opponent was a 8:50 and after telling us to wait in the car till they call you in and after 30 minutes we call and they say that they are 30 minutes behind so an hour and a half goes by and we get called in I take the test. We go sit in the car for 20 min and had to be called back in to take another because the first one was an error then I go in to fill out paper after 20 min and they told me to wait another 10 minutes. I have to start off by saying I was expecting to have a stressful experience with my Covid testing, but going to this Centracare completely put me at ease and at peace through the process. I was greeted in such a pleasant and friendly way by Pam, who received us with a warm smile. She was so helpful, and attentive, and so positive.
