I know we can't be picky when we have a need for urgent care, or to be seen on a weekend, but they should probably remove the word "urgent" from their name. I went online around 10am and the virtual line said to come in at 2:45pm. I went ahead and got "in line". I know timing is an estimate and not an appointment. I showed up at 2:30 and checked in. There were 3 people sitting in the waiting room when I arrived. While I sat there I saw walk ins come in to be told 3-4 hour wait. I was finally called back around 3:15. The nurse saw me and swabbed my nose for Covid and flu and said she would "be right back". I sat for an hour, not knowing what was going on. Finally the physicians assistant came in and met with me for less than 5 mins before writing me a prescription. I was there for 2 hours. (I assume both tests were negative since I was never told either way) I'm sure it's a staffing problem and maybe they only have 1 PA. I just don't know that I would recommend going if you truly do have an urgent need or don't want to spend your day waiting. read more

Back again with a 0 star review. I didn't bother writing one last time because I never expect a good experience here, but I came here for pre employment titers and a physical. The staff insisted there were no records of my past vaccinations (I pulled them up myself and showed them) - they were trying to give me all the vaccines all over again. 1 vaccine was overdue and when I sat down to receive it, the nurse/med assistant (whatever she was) alcohol swabbed my BICEP!! I'm a registered nurse and I was like "excuse me, what are you doing?!?" To which she responded this vaccine needs to go in the deltoid muscle, she continued to argue with me!! I then had to educate her on the proper injection technique, as well as the anatomy of the arm. I also declined the covid vaccine, and she had it draw up and was about to inject me with it, into my BICEP!!! I asked her to draw up a new tdap because I wanted to prevent an error since she almost made 2. Needless to say, the negligence in the place is TERRIFYING. Now on to today..... I made an appointment yesterday at 10:30 for a drug screening (made the appointment the night before) when I arrived yesterday, after waiting 45 minutes for my appointment, I was told that they aren't doing any more drug screenings today.......I explained I have a deadline (today) and they said I could come back at 10:30 today. I explained my e passport expires at 9:45. They said it would be no issue. Here I am today having to call the HR department at my new job to request an extension since I was lied to. Thankfully the company I'm about to work for facilitated me with no hassle, unlike the staff at the care spot. I arrived for my appointment at 10:15, it is now 12:30, I have not been seen and the two sitting at the desk are talking about ordering lunch. I assume I'll be here well past their lunch break. I had to reschedule two other appointments as well as a wedding dress fitting thanks to care spot. The staff are consistently rude, unapproachable, unprofessional and just plain incompetent. I work in a cardiac ICU, which is far more stressful than any urgent care and I still try to be kind and patient to my patients and their families. This is UNACCEPTABLE. read more

No one wants to visit any sort of urgent care. It's never fun, but CareSpot made my urgent care experience as pleasant as it could be! It was easy to make an appointment online. There were plenty of same day times available (this was a Saturday). This location is in a strip mall so the parking lot is shared with other businesses, but there was plenty of parking. Check in was easy at the front desk. The waiting room was very clean and there was ample seating for the waiting patients. Even though we were on time for our appointment, we still had to wait to be seen. Our wait was about 40 minutes. The staff was really nice and apologetic for our wait, even though I didn't mind. The doctor that saw my infant son was wonderful. She was so kind and took the time to answer and questions I had. I did not feel rushed at all! read more

Do not waste your time coming here. I made an appointment because I had a double ear infection, I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment and still they did not check me in/ have me fill out paperwork until 20 min after my appointment time. Then when I saw the doctor, she barely even looked into my ear, said I had swimmers ear and wrote me a prescription for antibiotic. I asked about getting a prescription for the pain too (it's the worst pain I've ever felt) and I had been taking Tylenol but it wasn't even making a dent in my pain, she said to just take Motrin. I go home and take the prescriptions and I don't get better, in fact I get more pain and pressure in and around my ears, so I go back 24hrs later, again with an appointment to try to see if I can get some pain meds and maybe irrigate the ear canal to help with the pressure, when I get to the front desk the receptionist says that even with an appointment it was going to be an hour and a half wait. An hour and a half wait to get done what should have already been provided for me the previous day. Side note: I had just started a new job and my insurance hadn't kicked in yet, so I had paid $200 to get a prescription written, then I was gonna have to pay another $200 to wait forever to maybe convince the doctor to irrigate my ears and write a prescription for pain meds. The customer care at front desk was probably the worst i have ever experienced. We were out of town guests . The confirmation said estimated time 915- we were traveling a bit to get there with no other updates . Got there , stood there for 10 minutes with no one at desk . Then lady was extremely poor customer service not taking responsibility for one not being present and two she decides to tell me that we are placed at the back of the line . The other front desk lady was also very rude and was not willing to listen and just told me she logged in her computer. My kid was in terrible pain - they had no sympathy and it was very disappointing. Medical staff in the back were great , but when you go in somewhere needing help the front desk should show compassion and empathy . read more

Avoid this place ......... completely useless!!!!!!!! A friend had high blood pressure could not get into see a Dr as their insurance had changed and appts were a month plus out. I, unfortunately persuaded them to go to Carespot who took his blood pressure which was very high and told him to go to the ER they would not prescribe blood pressure meds and for that useless advice and crappy service they charged him $90 copay. Note to self if you need meds they cannot and will not prescribe them tell you to go to ER and pay the $500 co pay - wonder why people hate this so called "health care system" read more

Absolute worst experience ever!! They state they are able to start IV's, administer IV fluids as well as draw labs, but what they fail to mention is that all their staff are medical assistants. Not knocking a medical assistant but their training in these areas is not lengthy. Two MA's attempted to get my blood, 6 failed attempts later they sent in the PA. The PA drew my blood without wiping the site with alcohol first. My lab results came back erroneous which then forced me to go elsewhere for a correct lab draw. Now dealing with the manager to get things removed from my chart. The manager did not apologize once and has yet to reach back out to me and offer a resolution. I would literally rather have my blood drawn in a dark alley than ever step foot in this place. read more

I had a really great experience at this location! I get very nervous when having to deal with anything doctor visit related. I went in for a Covid-19 test and everyone that helped me were nice. Especially the nurse who actually did my test, Jessie. She was SO patient, kind, and understanding with my panic. I really appreciate her and how great she was! It's really nice coming across nurses/doctors that don't rush you or make you feel like your panic is stupid or unwarranted. This isn't a review of this specific facility or its people, this is for carespot as a whole. Every time I am forced to go to one of their locations by an employer, I dread it. The level of bureaucracy and lack of URGENCY and CARE this company has is insane even for a medical related business and causes all kinds of issues. Fine example is my visit today. Go in for a drug screening and because some third party computer system is down they can't do it today. SERIOUSLY!!!! You can't let someone with 3 forms of state issued ID pee in a cup because a computer is down. It is insane to me there isn't some kind of contingency in place especially in a state like Florida that is prone to power and internet outages. I had a 1230 appointment due to a positive test of Covid that I did from home in hopes of getting the antiviral medicine I made it very clear as to what my appointment was for and did all the paperwork and spoke to the receptionist .I went and sat in my car and waited for them to call me to come in, I called them several times wondering why It was taking so long . they told me that the appointment was pushed back due to a procedure they were doing. unclear to what that was but regardless when they called me three hours later they informed me they don't prescribe the antiviral medicine and that they don't believe that it works. It was the most efficient and friendly walk-in clinic I've ever experienced. I had serious arm lacerations in an accident on a Saturday afternoon and was able to walk in a get excellent treatment with very little wait time. In addition, I was very surprised by the low cost! This is my second time visiting this location and the front desk receptionist were rude. My first visit they were arguing with another patient, being very sarcastic and disrespectful. This time I walked in, was greeted with a hi, she never looked up and asked how can they help today, she just sat there typing. After a minute or two of me standing there she looks at me with no words, she laughs and says yes? I said umm ok I need to be seen. She goes okay for what, I pointed to my eye which was very red, discharge coming out, clearly there's something wrong with my eye, she says I don't know what that means and proceeds to ask for my ID and insurance card. I left because I would rather not curse her out and make a scene but she's lucky it was 9 am! Too early for their BS read more

Went to the CareSpot Urgent Care of Ocoee. Made my appointment a few hours ahead of time online. Completed forms on line. What a nice experience. Which is hard to have when you are not feeling well. The wait was not too long. Office was clean and well lit. The staff were polite and professional. The best part was the clinician or doctor that took care of me. She was knowledgeable and efficient. It's been a week, meds are working, I am a happy camper. read more

I went into CareSpot for a UTI, after verifying that I did indeed have one, the provider said they would do labs to determine what the best antibiotic to prescribe would be. I was told the results would be back in 3-5 days, provider started me on a basic antibiotic until the results came back, and someone would either text or call me once they were in. I waited until day 5, then called their office. I was told they did not yet have the results. I called back again on day 7 and again on day 9 and was told the same thing. My initial prescription was for 7 days, I was still testing positive at home so it was obvious I needed something different. Provider refused to change the prescription until the results came back, and extended the drug that was not working to get me thru the weekend. I was also told that if they didn't get the results back the next day I would have to come in and be seen again. I never heard another word, I am STILL waiting on those results to this day!!! I made other arrangements to get taken care of. CareSpot is HORRIBLE, they DO NOT care at all. I will NEVER go back there again, and would advise anyone needing urgent care to choose another option!!! read more

I don't think this place runs well. I made a reservation online and arrived at the time I booked. They told me it would still be a 45 minute wait and to come back. When I left I was 4th in line and it looked like I was the only one who booked ahead (there are little symbols next to your name that indicate this). When I came back 45 minutes later I was 3rd in line. It is just really frustrating to have your time wasted, especially when you aren't feeling good and don't want to be in a place like this to begin with. I won't be coming back. One star for getting me in close to where I was told I would. I went in for what I know was a sinus infection, and wheezing (asthmatic). The "doctor" Kelly Reyes, listens to my chest, even when I cough up phlegm, tells me Im clear and that it's all from my head. I know when I cough it's coming from my chest. Oh no she insists, " I've been doing this over 30 years so I know it's just from your head and throat". Told them I've already had Covid, but they still test me. Rapid test, negative. Next, flu test, also negative. Next, two sets of chest X-rays even tho Dr Reyes said my chest was clear. Wait 20 mins for results, and chest clear even tho I continue hacking up phlegm. Orders a steroid shot. Fine, I've had them and they work well in these cases. Dr Reyes comes in and says, "I don't trust the rapid Covid test, and you look really sick so I know you have Covid! I'm testing you again with another PCR test". No regard at all for natural immunity that I have. She was so sure I had Covid "because I looked sick", well the PCR test came back negative as well. I believe this was all done to scam the insurance for all they could. My chest congestion was never dealt with. I find it curious that Dr Reyes had been in the medical field "for over 30 years" but has not advanced past a local Care Spot in her career. read more

This urgent care facility should be ashamed of themselves. I just rushed my wife to this facility before it closed because she has been having bad stomach pain all day. They tell us we have to go to the ER and don't even attempt to help or treat her at all. She explains we have a 3 week old newborn baby at home and don't want to risk COVID and still nothing. This site is extremely unprofessional and obviously no one wanted to help us because it was just before closing time. What a disgrace. I'll give it a two star because the medical assistant and receptionist had amazing customer service. However, when I was called back to see doctor/PA he told me do to covid test and comeback in two weeks if I still have symptoms. He wouldn't check my vitals or check on me. I was extremely congested due to allergies. Due to lack of professionalism I decided to go Guidewell which is like a mile down the road and turns out I had a sinus infection. Don't go here. It used to be a good urgent care spot but is now so understaffed and busy that you get mean people in the front and long wait times. If you manage to get that first thing in the morning appointment maybe you won't wait hours but even with making an "appointment" times you will wait for hours and you aren't allowed to wait inside. Just sit in your car and burn that $5 gas running your A/C! They don't answer the phone half the time either. I waited over 20 minutes on hold to ask a question about an appointment. Went into this location for the first time, around 230pm on a Tuesday.. two people were in the waiting room. An hour goes by, and now there are about 15 people in the waiting room. In the hour I sat there, I saw one person actually called to go back to presumably wait some more, or actually see a doctor. I decide to go up and ask what's going on, and how long of a wait I have left. Somehow there were three people ahead of me, and I was told that it should be another 1.5 hours or so. Wow, where do I start, i scheduled an appointment online for 4:45pm due to my daughter obtaining a foot injury while at school. We arrived 4:30pm only to wait for 1 hr before even being seen. They take x-rays of my daughter's foot, then after 30-40 minutes the Dr. returns to tells us the findings were negative, we were sent on our way with nothing, no buddy taping of the toes, no script, no note for school only a orthopedic shoe. Later that night my daughter was in such pain, i took her to the ER, they too took x-rays, and saw that her 5th toe was broken in 2 places. They reset th toe back in place, buddy wrapped it, gave her a script for pain, and a note to have no physical education for 3 weeks! If this OCOEE location could be so negligent in mis-diagnosing a simple break in a toe, I cringe at the thought of what else this location as gotten wrong!! I went in for a COVID test. I did have to wait which was obviously to be expected. The staff was great! They were very busy with the influx of COVID testers as well as their regular patient walk ins. I noticed a lot of reviews were upset about waits even with apts. I get it but they've been swamped and anyone could see that. I was there this past week and would say they have a pretty good system. They try to bring in the apts as close to the time as possible. Test itself wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be at all (I got the nose swab). Keep it up guys! Just plain slow, rude, and awful service. Well other than the guy at the front desk. He's about the best person they have there working. On August 29 around 5pm, when I arrived it was only me and one other person there. The other person was in and out in a matter of minutes. However then it took almost an hour to me. By then several other people came in. Then they called a person that had come in about 30 minutes behind me to the back and then me. The girl then proceeded to help the other person that came behind me by doing their weight and putting them into a room. She then just placed me in a room without weighing me or anything. I asked why was the long delay and she said they were eating. After then I was placed in the room. Then about 15 min later another girl came and asked general questions. However after she left I waited, and waited, and after what seemed like forever. So I went asked will the doctor be seeing me anytime soon and I was informed that he would be seeing the person that came behind me first. I was like unbelievable. It would've been faster for me to just go to the ER or Centra Care. Never again! A complete waist of time, effort, and energy. I had to end up leaving there and ultimately going to the ER. Just awful. No type of regard or respect for anyone's time. No type of communication, just nothing . I can understand if they were busy, however that wasn't the case, it was poor service. read more
