The staff are so friendly and attentive across the board from reception to technicians and the facility is bright, clean and inviting. I was taken back well before my appointment, the IV contrast line was put in without any issue, and they must have advanced equipment because the whole test took half the time it has in the past. The MRI techs are calming, funny, and professional so if I were a nervous type they'd have put me completely at ease. My insurance tells at me to use non-hospital facilities to save myself money but it's well worth it for the service and comfort you get here!

Sad, there was a dip in the table, had a sudden jolt of pain in my right hip that lasted a minute (pain scale 8). He didn't ask how I was. He just stood there while I was in pain. When I said the pain had subsided he continued with his question and told me to lie on table. After the scan I struggled to get up due to hip pain. Never offered assistance or asked about the pain. Told him to warn others with hip pain there is a dip in the table that could trigger pain. He said "I've done a lot of these for hips and no one ever complained of pain before." This is completely out of character for any Advent Health employee to act so cold and uncaring.

They have cancelled my MRI appointment twice, wasting my time and showing zero respect for patients. On top of that, I keep receiving automated computer calls repeating the same message over and over again, without giving any real solution or help. It feels like no one actually knows what they're doing, and no one takes responsibility for fixing anything. This level of disorganization is unacceptable. I believe his name was George but should anyone from imaging at DeLand hospital care enough to check I can certainly find the date. When someone is having the kind of medical issues that require these scans the last thing they need is to deal with a rude entitled employee.
