The first time I heard about Adventure cakes I was on a quest to find a perfect tres leches cake- having been dissatisfied over and over I decided to reach out to- while trying to figure out the details I was told my date wasn't available- I took it as an opportunity to employ the good old "If at first you don't succeed, try for Adventure cakes again" For my second attempt I was in luck Adventure cakes had the date available and I thought nobody is taking this opportunity from me to try the best of the best- we went over the serving size and I secured what to this date has been described by all my guests as the cake that made them believe in miracles again. The decadent ganache the perfectly baked cake the light air buttercream. I mean the list goes on and on. Yes good things come to those who wait- and boy are her cakes worth it each and every single time! I was always a "no thank you" when cake was served at parties but I have developed I guess you can say an OCD - obsessive cake disorder - with the wonderful creations adventure cakes has made for all of my family And friends - It's become a "Got cake? 'Cause I can hook you up." Kind of situation. The tres leches are creamy and full of flavor- I've had all the recipes! My favorite of all time are coconut and creme brûlée! The cakes I've done traditional, Swiss rolls sideways cake any shape I've requested I've had delivered. She has created fun kid theme cakes, refined classic theme cakes, hobby themed cakes, man-cave worthy cakes, movie theme cakes, silly and naughty cakes everything under the sun. I would not recommend this company! The responses from the owner were very delayed after discussing the date, cake design, and flavors I was told I would receive and design. I was informed out of no where that the owner could no longer honor the date of our baby shower because it was a popular date with no offering of an earlier delivery date or different suggestion. read more
