    Razor family adventure.

Awesome adventure on the trails. A little confusing when the app loses service but so much fun. It would be amazing if a guide went with you for our directionally Challenged family. We we're shocked with how dirty we got! Great family activity lots of laughs and fun.

The Adventure Haus is AWESOME! We've rented Polaris RZRs here twice and had a great experience on both occasions. The staff is friendly and does a really good job reviewing safety and vehicle operation, trail maps, and other pertinent details. The Polar RZRs are a lot of fun off-road and there are many, many miles of trails in Midway for your off-road adventure. I personally like the RZRs much better than four-wheelers because you have a full seat with seat belt, roll cage, and you can drive fast without feeling like you're going to fall off. Unfortunately we got a flat tire the last time we rented a RZR, but the staff was up the mountain to save the day in no time. They swapped out the tire and got us up and running quickly. If you're looking for some adventure check out the Adventure Haus. For the bargain shopper, check Groupon and LivingSocial for deals and discounted coupons.

We had the best time on the ride! Adventure Haus, specifically Scottie, was amazing with his customer service. We had arrived early and had a bit of a wait before our ride was ready. Scottie was so sweet with our two seven year olds and was hurrying and hustling to get our machine ready quickly for us. The machines were top notch. Super clean, worked really well and were easy to use. We did a self-guided two hour loop. It was gorgeous, so many fall leaves to see and so much fun. Scottie provides top notch directions and provided a map with matching mile markers, roads, landmarks etc he even gave us his cell phone in case we got lost since the shop was closing before our return and served as our photographer. I didn't know how dirty and dusty it would be so definitely bring something for your eyes and wear clothes you don't care if they get dirty. Well worth the money. It was the highlight of our trip!

    Fun ATV ride!

We had an absolutely fantastic time on our ATVs which we rented through Adventure Haus. The staff was extremely helpful in preparing us for our ride and the equipment was in excellent running order.

This is the second time the wife and I have rented a Polaris RZR from Adventure Haus, and we weren't disappointed. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and covered safety & the route thoroughly. We love coming up here during the first week of October because of the cold, crisp air and the beautiful fall colors. Can't wait to come back next year!

He informed me that his store did not have but he would research other stores, and would call me back. When I didn't hear from him the next day, I called HIM back. He said he did find what I wanted in CO, but I would have to come in and pay in person. I went in, and found Reed, and thanked him for finding the skis. I asked about bindings and he brought out a set. He proceeded to tell me he would have the skis sent from Colorado to HIS store and then he would send the bindings and skis to me. During this entire interaction, he acted like he was "doing me a favor". He almost had an attitude of detached and "could-care-less what you do" behavior. Then I asked if there would be free shipping. He told me in a curt manner that no, he would be charging me for shipping. It was up to the store manager's discretion to decide about charging for shipping, and that free shipping was only for online purchases. Me: "So EVERY store charges shipping? Which store has the Nordicas?" Reed: "Beaver Creek" Me: OK, can we have the skis sent directly to my home from there and can I talk to the manager at Beaver Creek?" Reed agreed and called Beaver Creek. He put me on the phone with John, who was the complete opposite of Reed in terms of his tone and demeanor! He was super helpful, he said of course he will ship the skis to my home and NO shipping charges. I told him we skied in CO and he said please come to Beaver Creek and that I would love it. I told him I would see him next winter. I told Reed I would NOT be purchasing the bindings from him because of his rude attitude. As I had gotten previous help (on another visit to Christy's) from BETSY, who was absolutely helpful, knowledgeable and gracious, I walked out after telling Reed that "he could learn a thing or two about customer service from the other employees." If someone in upper management at Christy's reads this, it would benefit your company to think about weeding out bad seeds like Reed to preserve the reputation of Christy's. That was one of the worst examples of customer service I have ever encountered. Word of mouth spreads quickly.

We had a great time!…read more First and foremost dress for the weather and most definitely wear snow boots. The ground is icy and slushy and uneven. I even suggest wool socks to keep your toes warm. Snow pants are also ideal too if have them. We went at 4:30pm so we got to see the ice castles both during the day and at night as the sun went down around 5:45/6pm. By 6pm it was getting very crowded and hard to walk through but it was so fun seeing it all lit up. We did the sleigh ride. Our driver was excellent! He was very informative and told funny jokes. I forgot his name but he made the freezing cold sleigh ride a lot more fun! I didn't realize that the sleigh ride had lights throughout so we barely got to see those since it was still light out. But it was still neat. We paid for the souvenir photo and you get one printed out, and the others emailed to you. They have a small gift shop at the end and to be honest I wish they had one at the front selling the hand warmers because I would have bought some! But having them available for purchase at the end wasn't helpful in my opinion. They had a small stand for hot cocoa and bite sized goodies to snack on, but because it was the only place to purchase the lines were awfully long. I would suggest opening another food truck up or something to encourage more people to purchase. I would have loved a hot cocoa to stay warm. They had a few small propane fire pits throughout to stand and warm up. They had a few ice slides for the kids to go on and one for adults too. That was neat. There were several ice tunnels to walk through and they get crowded. It would be nice if they had them going one way routes because they tended to get backed up with people trying to get through in the opposite direction. There were ice sculptures like a unicorn and a throne. There are trivial facts throughout that inform you of how the ice castles are made, how many artisans it takes to make them, how many pounds of ice, etc. Overall we really enjoyed the experience. I'd love to go again, but I also think it could be a do once experience.
