There's plenty of convenient free parking. The sales people are helpful. I like when they help me find my specific size and color without leaving me to hunt all over the store. If you're spending time outdoors in Park city and you participate in Active sports, it's worthwhile to come here and pick up some good under armor sports wear on your visit. I took them back to exchange for a larger size. All seemed to be going well and I was looking at a number of other items to purchase which would have added around $600-$700 to what I already purchased. I was then abruptly told I could not exchange the pants I had purchased because tags were removed but still in the bag and they had been washed. I had bought these pants two days prior. What a bunch of idiots who really are lame. Get this. I'm trying to not return but rather exchange the pants I purchased and I was also looking to make a significant purchase, in addition. Where is the common sense with this store's business's return policy and the knucklehead employee I had to deal with. (1) they made a $120 sale but lost a $700 sale (2) On top of that they not only lost the $600 additional sale but also a customer for life. I would never shop at this store again.

Unparalleled customer service. Jackson (who is a young entrepreneur, by the way) and his team are knowledgable and patient, even when they have multiple parties in front of them. The price point is exceptional for the quality of gear you're getting - you can save some money on the skiers or riders at the beginner level or get outfitted with gear suitable for any expert. It's also a fully stocked retail store if you need additional gear/accessories (gloves, goggles, socks, etc). Jackson was even gracious enough to give our beginners some insight and instruction that helped immensely toward their improvement on the slopes and their overall enjoyment throughout the vacation. We showed up with (no reservation!) 6 people of varying ability and they took the time to find the appropriate gear for each person. If you need wide-calf boots - they've got em. If the boots they select initially don't fit just right, they'll take as much time as necessary to find you something that will keep you comfy throughout the day. If you grab a set and find out mid-day that you'd like something else or something needs to change, they'll change it up for you on the fly with enthusiasm and a smile. If your rental car won't accommodate all of your gear to the trip back to the hotel, they'll catalogue and store your gear for multiple days so that all you have to do is show up and your set-up is ready and waiting for you. They're open early and it seems as if this guy never takes a day off! A+ and then some. We'll never rent from anyone else when we're riding Park City. read more

I like others had trusted the various yelp reviews Jackson's Base camp had received. We came in for Christmas week, myself,my wife and my daughter, who was later joined by her boyfriend. We own our own small business in Fl, and we appreciate great service, just as our customers do. We rarely have seen such outstanding service in any business we have used. Jackson personally kitted me out with a great pair of expensive, new Head boots, and great skis.He and his team took time to kit each of us out with the right gear, based on our individual needs. His wife happily took our skis at the end of each day and stored them for us. We each commented on how friendly and helpful all the guys in the store were. Each morning they offered to help put the boots on, and likewise take them off for us at the end of the day! That was fantastic. Jackson, we are coming back to PC in early April. Jackson's Base Camp is the place to be! If you want to be to buy or rent your ski/snowboard equipment or buy ski/board gear at extremely discounted prices you will find no better establishment. It is ran by the owner himself. Mr. Jackson was very helpful and cut through all the BS you get with all of the confusing board and ski packages at other resorts. He made things very simple, gave us a few instructional points and we had a great time learning to snowboard on our own, as opposed to paying over $400+ dollars for lessons. JBC is the absolute best place to rent gear and location is ideal, only a very short walk to the main ski lifts. We were very pleased with the condition of the rented equipment. Top of the line in my book. No junk or partially broken items. JBC is located at Park City Resort which is great for beginners or experts. Go in and tell Mr. Jackson you want to ski or snowboard and within minutes you will be on the slopes having a great time. 5 stars. Can't wait to go back--JDN. read more

My wife and I took a vacation from Jacksonville, FL to Park City, UT with little to no experience snowboarding/skiing. Jackson's Base Camp was unbelievably helpful in educating us on how to use the equipment and where to go on the mountain, and they were very accommodating when my wife switched from snowboarding to skiing in the middle of the vacation. We vacationed with another couple who rented gear from another company in Park City, and they mentioned they paid far more for their equipment and had to wait in long lines to get help. Located at the base of Park City Resort next to the ice skating rink and all the shops, bars, and restaurants, you cannot get a better location, better price, or better gear for your vacation. You will not regret choosing Jackson's Base Camp when snowboarding/skiing in Park City. read more

The best ski rental establishment in Park City, UT! The staff is beyond friendly and they have the best equipment around town. I was able to rent top dollar ski's for CHEAP and could even switch from skis to snowboard on any day / at any time that I wanted to. LISTEN :: Jans is next door (another ski rental company), don't waste your time going there because the equipment at Jans doesn't even compare to the equipment at Jackson Base Camp. Highly recommend Jackson Base Camp solely based on equipment and their staff alone! Jackson Base Camp is also dog friendly and they have a four legged friend with warm welcomes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This place was the best. Great location near the base of the mountain (next to the skating rink). I had two adults and two first time kids. The entire staff helped us get the right gear for our levels. They encouraged us to check back if anything didn't feel perfect. One of the key points was to be able to drop our stuff off (shoes) at the start of the day and then leave our skis overnight. I couldn't say enough great things about the entire staff. They made a first time ski trip for my kids a great experience. Imagine having a little help getting them ready (putting on boots, etc.). I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I absolutely loved everything about Jackson's Base Camp! My family and I came here the first season he opened. I had an incident with a certain airline losing my luggage, and Jackson introduced himself and hooked it up! Not only did he do a personalized boot fitting and help us pick some SICK demo skis for the week, I was able to rent pants and a helmet until my luggage came in. The customer service and his love for mountain sports was second to none, and got us really pumped for another epic Park City ski week. He really stands out. We just rented equipment from Jackson's for our trip to Park City. Their staff was friendly and helpful. Their equipment was newer and was in great working condition. They also had FREE ski valet on site which was awesome! Jackson and his crew are all top notch and the only place to rent if you're skiing Park City. We cut our vacation short because some of our kids were sick and they allowed us to turn our skis in early and refunded us money for the unused day without even asking for a refund. This was the most amazing ski rental experience that our family has ever had. We loved being in the store and we even felt comfortable enough to laugh and cut up with Jackson. We went into the store with the intention of just renting skis and helmets and we ended up leaving with some awesome sun glasses, a cool looking hat, and some amazing looking masks. These people are the best - sweetest dog and best customer service anywhere! They'll fit you perfectly with skis or a snowboard and you won't beat the price. My dad and I were even able to switch out our skis and boots one day after a big snow at no extra cost. Jackson recommended the switch for a better performance given the changing weather conditions. The same wonderful owners who provide personalized service and will do whatever it takes to make your experience excellent are running the store. Great prices, best location on the mountain! We just finished a week long rental for 5 ppl at Jackson's Base Camp. The experience could not have been better. The friendly, helpful staff offered help with our boots at the beginning and end of each day, and allowed us to store our boots in the shop. We've been coming to PC for years, and so thankful we've now found Jackson's Base Camp! Our daughter demo'd several pairs of high end race skis, and fell in love with a pair which we purchased on the spot. We rented a demo package for our teenage son from Jackson's Base Camp. They were absolutely fantastic. For a tiny bit more than regular rentals at other places, my son got to try out several different skis over the course of 5 days, including wide powder skis when it snowed. The only downside is that he liked the most expensive skis best... If we get back to Park City area, we will definitely rent from them again. read more

There are several places to rent skis and snowboards in and around Park City Mountain Resort…read more We ended up going here because one of the guys offered us a 20% discount. We had a group of five people renting skis, boots, and poles. When they aren't busy, you can get out of the shop within 20 minutes or so. The staff is friendly and eager to assist. You can change equipment anytime and they help you find the right equipment for your needs and skill level. After the first day of skiing, I changed to longer skis (went to 172cm). Then, after three days, I changed my boots because one was hurting my foot. I went to a more narrow boot. Each night, we stored our skis and poles at their shop. They give you a numbered blue plastic triangle to collect your equipment the next day. You only pay for the days you use the equipment. They have different levels of skis (Demo $38, Performance $26, and Sport $20). We opted for the Performance skis. Overall, an excellent little shop. They don't have much equipment to sell. It's mainly a rental shop. Xie Xie!

They don't have a widest range of products here, but sometimes if you ask, they can find a color for you that's not on display, so I'd definitely ask if you don't see a color you like on display. Service here is excellent. I was helped by Shaun who went above and beyond explaining all the different products he had and the differences in the features that come with more expensive products. I will be back because of his excellent customer service. And the fact that the prices here are actually comparable to other shops in the city. So definitely stop by here if you're on the mountain and you will find good stuff at good prices!

The only benefit is that it is close to the gondola but thats about it. the staff there was horrible, they were not helpful at all and very rude. the equipment was dated and not good at all. after having such a terrible experience I went to check there google reviews and lo and behold, their reviews were terrible. To anyone out there reading this do yourself a favor and rent from somewhere else.

I rented…read moresome skis as part of a demo, where if I liked the skis I could buy a new one from them and they would discount 2 rental days from the price of the skis. The price tag on the ski was listed as $559. Two rental days = $102. Simple math. I should pay, per their own rules, $559-$102 = $457. For some reason, their guy at the counter is having a hard time pricing the skis (even though the sale tag is clear). I then point out to him where the bar code is. The skis, for some reason, scan at $700. He then wants to sell the skis for the listed price of $559 because it's cheaper than the scanned price. Not only that, but the guy acted like he was doing me a great service for honoring their own sticker price. That was not the deal. I would not have demoed those skies if I knew they would be this shady. In fact, I would not recommend renting from them at all. They don't honor their own rules. No integrity. He brought over a girl whom I assume is the manager. She tells him to honor the deal, and then walks it back. She then tells me that the reduced price sticker was added to skies AFTER I took the demo out. She said that the price tag was $599 when I took the demo out (keep in mind that she never offers me the $599 - $102 deal, so clearly she's just fishing for excuses to draw more money out of me). But even then... she KNEW I had those skis out on demo. Why would she lower the price??? But, she did not lower the price. She lied. I remember the $559 sticker. I then told her my wife had found those skis online for $480. She told me she could price match if I showed her the site. Ends up I was wrong and the online price was $525. I didn't want to give them that much money. They deserve zero cents from me.

I heard about this store and how they provide rentals for a reasonable price. The process is easy: check in at the kiosk to make res; meet with one of the reps in the back (fitting/sizing): and then, pay at the front counter. Staffs are super helpful and nice. Ample parking in the lot. I'd come back to continue renting gears or referring others to come here.

Instead of enjoying the quiet serenity of skiing through powder, the sound of a squeaking old rusty hinge was heard the whole day. The snowboard was set so badly that it caused foot cramping all day. When shown the video with the sound and told how vastly different the experience had been, the employees did not know what could have caused it and were not willing to do anything about it. Extended family are coming out next month and will not be using this rental shop.

We showed up on New Years Eve when everyone was getting ready to wrap up and enjoy the festivities and these two stuck around and helped my wife and I get the perfect fit. Kenny and Carson both found our boots within minutes of asking us a few details about our ski styles and we could not be happier with the level of service provided. They talked about the different varieties of boots, what goes into a perfect fit, and ensured that we got the best boots possible for our price range. My son was having pain from his new boots (bought from a ski shop at home, not here), and Carlos was able to interpret his vague descriptions and made serial adjustments (changed the footbed, added shims and spacers in various places, recommended different socks, etc) until it was perfect. We paid for the footbed and a nominal fee for the additional adjustments, which was unbelievable for the amount of time he devoted to making my son feel comfortable in his boots.
