Called over several days, (left message for return call) requested inspection via the website reference weed control. Guess this business is doing super well and isn't interested in adding a new client. Take it for what it is poor customer service. Since, this is rated 4.9 and is supposedly family owned, I wish them the best and hope this is just a cliche. Money spent elsewhere. read more

We bought a new build house a year ago and had been doing "pest control" ourselves with some spray stuff from Lowe's. This year we decided to hire the professionals at Sutton Weed and Pest Control. Horrible experience with this company. We contacted them to remove and seal our cabin from Bats. $4,409 later and following ALL their recommendations and guarantee they would be gone.... we still have Bat's. This has gone on now for months without remedy, once they got their money, we can't get them to get back to us. read more

Scott showed up early as requested and was very friendly. Our house is in the forest and we have plenty of critters and their evidence, webs, etc. Scott really worked hard to knock down all the webs with his web brush and clean things up before he started treating. He did a thorough job of treating inside and out as well as under the house. I am very happy with Sutton's service both the field and office staff have been great to deal with. Highly recommend Sutton pest control. read more

Beware. Paid $800 to have stickers/goatheads removed from my property. Called to let them know I still had a whole backyard full. They wanted to charge again for their service when they should have made sure they were permanently removed the first time. As a senior citizen I had to water this large area by buying a commercial sprinkler to use. According to the company my warranty expired and no second phone call to treat the goatheads. They probably would have charged me more money for the second treatment. So I am left with a backyard of goatheads and out $800. Should have used tru-green. I do not recommend this company. They are out for the money and don't fix the problem. read more

Tyson was at my home yesterday for weed control and this is the very first time I had had an encounter with him. He was very professional, very informative and such a kind soul. I'm so pleased with Sutton weed and pest control . Randy has been doing the pest control service for probably a little over a year now maybe almost 2 and I absolutely love him. He is always so Polite and seems to be very caring of my property and I certainly appreciate their service. Sutton has been absolutely wonderful at helping us with our woodland creatures issues! We had some sort of critter get in under our house and rip up our venting. Sutton was fantastic at coming out ASAP! They have also done a great job at getting a handle on our ant/ bug problem and are in the process of putting in bird stops too! This company has it all in customer service and quality. When we called we were given a quote on the service and then immediately given an appointment. In fact, when an earlier appointment came up they contacted us and came faster and right on time. The young man who came was polite, introduce himself right away, and explained what needed to be done. After he had finished he asked if we had questions and then even explained the company policy on not putting excess harmful ingredients around your house. This is a local family and it's wonderful to support them too. read more

I started with weed service almost 2 years ago. Their product could not kill my weeds. Had to…read morecancel that service, and do it myself. Pest control. Very disappointed. Was paying for pest treatments every 60 days. About 5 weeks after a treatment, I had ants coming up everywhere, and requested a "free" "satisfaction guaranteed" retreatment. Because it took bulwark a while to respond (weather/scheduling/whatever) I was told that retreatment would be my next "scheduled service". It had not been 60 days. This was wrong. I expressed my dissatisfaction through email, and spoke with a rep on 8-12-25. I was told 'tough titty', and that I owed bulwark $76 for the respray. What a rotten business practice. Bulwark calls this "satisfaction guaranteed". I say, cancel my service at my home, and for the sake of their coveted $76, I would certainly not keep a $2,000+ per year business account with them. Not very smart. Not at all honest.

I call Bulwark about getting rid of mice in my attic. I told the woman I talked to I didn't want to…read moreuse the glue traps and she explained they would put some sort of deterent in and then come back in a couple of weeks to see if they needed to spray in the walls. I had mentioned mice a number of times so figured that was great. When the exterminator turned up, he called me when the woman that was living in the house told him I didn't want glue sheets and that the only other option was traps that had to be checked daily. I mentioned the woman I talked to had said that wasn't what the woman I talked to told me and I'd already tried setting traps - live and others and they did work well at all. I called the company and said this was not what I was told and they needed to better train the people making appointments. She then said they I would not be billed. She then talked to the exterminator and he very quickly packed up and left. I then received a bill for $50 for the call and sent it back with a note that they said they would not bill me and never heard from them again.

Contacted Neff to exterminate pests at my property near Snowflake, AZ…read more Expensive, but I agreed to use them. In October or so, they contacted me via text asking if they could service again. If they agreed to take some extra pictures and send, I would allow it and even offered to pay for the extra photos. They did not take payment - their choice - and sent me some photos. Then, in December, again asked to service my property. I said I needed more photos. They agreed to send more. I was sent another text, "oops, he forgot to take the other photos." I said the next day would be OK for them to get and send the pix. They trotted out something about '...in your area again...", refusing to do what they agreed to do. I contacted them at least 3 times after 2 weeks went by and no response. They ignoreed me for another week before any response. It was long, drawn out and an attempt to divert the issue: "... we don't take photos, we're a pest ..." and the like for 2 pages. A really nasty, condescending response trying to bleme me or something else. Disparaged me for attempting to get what I paid for. The service on my property was contingent upon receiving the extra photos. Period. They agreed to do it. Had they refused, they would not have been allowed to service my property at all! They blamed their poor / lack of response on them not knowing how to read email from outside the office (gmail!!!) and they could not figure out what I was wanting since the main staff was AWOL and the ones left apparently can not read a service order! They had said before that the extra photo requirement was ON the ORDER! What do you call that???!!! They also made statements and, along with their historical behavior, alarmed me to the distinct possibility of them vandalizing my property in retaliation for the charge-back I told them I was filing since they failed to meet their agreed-to obligations. I had to notify the local Sheriff to protect my property in case they tried to damage anything. Over the course of a few months, they were paid nearly $1,000.00 in total and refused to send photos they agreed to as a condition of service. I long for the day I can find a single vendor in the Navajo county area that is not a crook or incompetent or a cheat.

I'd met David, the technician who did the work at my house on several occasions. Honest and straightforward, easy to communicate with, thorough and helpful. They had my credit card on file and a key to my house so they could more easily schedule and perform the work. This is the level of trust and satisfaction I had with them. Sadly, for whatever reason they sold out to a larger company, which is not local to Show Low, but based in Mesa. Neither company notified me of this change. Thus far I'm leery of Bulwark because of their unbending policies to: * record every telephone call (even if the customer requests otherwise), * number every customer and refer to them by number rather than name, * coerce all customers into contracts with legalistic, corporate terms and conditions, * push for automated billing, and * treat customers as if they're commodities to be bought and sold along with companies that Bulwark has swallowed up along its growth trajectory. Anyway this is about Saline Pest Management, and good memories. I guess the downside of doing business with small family-owned companies is that someday the folks want to retire and do other things with their time. I wish them well and thank them for their service.

We had a leak under our house that was caused by improper ceiling of the wax ring underneath our toilet. He pulled both toilets off. Replaced both rings and replaced the broken handles that supplied the water to them. I felt he was very reasonably priced. We were charged $325 for parts and labor. Craig and his crew are fantastic! I had bats living in the eaves, as well as woodpeckers who had decided my cabin was the perfect place to unleash hell. I assumed it would take a week or more and was resigned to having to stay locked up with my two dogs, but Craig and his crew got the job done in 36 hours. He explained everything to me, walked me through what he was doing and why, and even tried to get on my dogs' good side, which is a feat in and of itself. The way they help to make sure the bats can't come back is humane, something I appreciated, and my house is now sealed from the vast majority of critters. Craig even made sure to call me 10 minutes before he arrived and right as he left so I could make sure my dogs were in when he pulled up, and could be let loose when he headed out. I would definitely recommend Sutton Weed and Pest Control, and I would 100% recommend Craig and his crew! read more

Scott Tipton called to give advance notice that he was on his way. He showed up twenty minutes later and after introducing himself went right to work. We had gophers in our back yard and have tried everything we could to get rid of them but to no avail. Scott knew exactly what he was doing and located the holes, dug down and put "bait" in them. He put it down far enough and covered it back up again to keep our dog from getting to it. Too soon to tell if it worked or not but if for some reason they return, Scott said to give them a call and someone would come out to retreat again. I have used Sutton for controlling my weeds, pre emergence, and if any weeds popped up they quickly came back out and fixed the problem. I would highly recommend Sutton Weed and Pest control for any weed or pest problem! read more
