First let me say that I was a real estate broker for many years and found this organization to be amazingly unprofessional. I am not the type of person to take the time to write a negative review unless it is well earned. From the get go there was confusion and misrepresentation. We dealt with Erin and Kim. I requested multiple times to see a copy of the lease after securing the property with a deposit and was refused right up until the day we were ready to move in. There were several things that needed to be taken care of prior to our moving in: Clean the home, put batteries in the smoke detectors, fix pain in several rooms and do a thorough carpet cleaning. None of these were done so we got to move into a dirty home. We were told that we could have an option for a second year which was very important to us, upon showing up to sign the lease on move in day there was no option and we were told by Kim the owner "Tough, Life Happens" The owner of the property was so frustrated with the dishonesty of Adventure Property Management that he terminated his agreement with them in the middle of our lease, I am sure his recommendation will follow. I would say save yourself heartache and being lied to and find another company to rent from and or lease from. read more

Initial experience was great, but turned into kind of a nightmare. At first, they seemed on top of everything and as concerned about our properties as we were. Things quickly went downhill since last fall, when the owner had to step aside. It seems like staff is minimal and they are low on resources. We had to call several times every month to get the rent from our properties deposited into our account. I don't know if this was from lack of money or just neglect, but in dealing with the office staff I suspect both. Worst of all, we're now out thousands of dollars in missed rent and cost of cleaning and repairs because they leased one of our houses to someone with clearly horrible financial history (and a felon for a roommate, when there was supposedly only one person on the lease) who left us with a filthy house, broken sink and window, cigarette and animal smells, garage full of stuff we had to have hauled away, etc. Either they've become lax on who they will rent to, or they do not monitor the properties, or both I like the owner very much, but I cannot in good conscience recommend this group, which I heartily have in the past. The most attentive, and sincerely caring property management company we've worked with in 25 years. We've experienced much duress working out of state with property management co.s not this time. They take care of every issue we have RIGHT NOW. Kim got our house fixed up, and found a tenant in less time than any one we've worked with! Throughout every step of the process, she came up with solutions fine tuned to our needs and always made us feel at ease, when we know from past experiences, we would have felt stressed. We are so grateful for their hard work and the close contact they kept with us. They will always be the Co. we use and the only one we'll refer people to happily. read more

Adventure Property Management has been a wonderful company to work with and rent through. I could potentially be homeless due to the owner of the property I was renting if it were not for Adventure. They were able to place me in another property within a week. Kim has always been very professional and always has the integrity of her business, owners and tenants in mind. She understands "life" happens and never made you feel less of a person because you hit a hard time. Apparently Mary D wants to fabricate a story on here thinking people don't know the truth. She seems to have forgotten the disarray she left the house when she moved and money and time it took to prep the house for the new tenant, ME. I'll admit there were things that needed to be fixed in the house, we lived there for THREE years and were given less than 30 days to move, not because we were being evicted, but because we were lied to by the owner of the property. Rent late every month??? I think not, and rent was never a month late, and I know exactly the time she is referring too...and if that was the case, why did you agree to renew my lease every year??? Good question huh...The carpet needed to be replaced 3 years ago from the smell and and any other detection of their cats, a small bleach stain does not constitute re-carpeting the whole house. But that was a way for the owner to swindle money out of my security deposit, I paid $320.00 for the carpets to be shampooed for them to turn around and replace it a week later. The bill that was sent to Adventure for hundreds of dollars, was for me to basically help them prep their house for the market. Which Adventure would not allow because they know the condition of the house when they started managing the property. Good luck selling your overpriced house! Eric H, you don't even own the house! And your story is just as fabricated as Mary's. You are not only dragging Adventure through the mud with your bs lies, my family as well. If it makes you feel better to exaggerate, go for it. Worst company ever! I agree with all the reviews I have read. Kim was overly nice when attempting to gain my business and I never felt more assured that my house was going to be in great hands. Oh how wrong I was! Every month I had to continually call and ask where my rent money was and why it wasn't deposited in my account. Each time I called, I was made to feel like I was the dumbest person on earth for wondering where my rent money was. After a year of dealing with her condescending ways I told my husband it was his turn to deal with her. We were told to calm down when at Christmas time, our rent was almost a month late and the tenants had Christmas to worry about. When first hiring them, they had told me that walk thru-s would be done and pictures be taken so that we could see our property over time, never once was this done. If so then they probably would have noticed the bleach that was spilled on the stairs. After firing them, we sent them a bill for the hundreds of dollars of things that needed replacing, holes in doors, bleach on the carpet, kids drawings in marker all over the place in the bedrooms. Surprise, they only decided to reimburse us for $168, not even a drop in the bucket considering we had to replace every square foot of carpeting in our home. I am not one to post negative comments about companies online. In this case, consumers need to be warned about this company and their very shady ways of doing business. If you need a property management company, please believe what you are reading and choose a different company other than Adventure Property Management. See you in court Kim! read more

Signed a lease and moved in early May. It's now end of june. The unit was filthy and in disrepair. While the office staff was professional and kind, the maintenance guy gave a huge spiel about calling the office twice because our AC wasn't working when we moved in ("You only need to call once! I'll get to it when I get to it!".) We also reported that our air ducts were filthy (moldy food, cigarette butts and raser blades found in the ducts), and our dishwasher literally clogged with trash to the point it wouldn't drain (not food waste, TRASH). No one ever came to fix these issues, though the maintenance guy did get the AC running again. The second time we told them in person at the office, they shrugged it off and said "huh, it usually doesn't take out guys that long to respond to service requests". That was two weeks after the first time we notified them of the issues. It's now been 8 weeks. At this point, I've taken upon myself to clean the dishwasher myself as best as I can(I can't stress how disgusting this was) and vacuumed out the vents. Despite how kind and professional the office staff seem, the fact that I had to clean mold and trash out of the vents and dishwasher myself tells me they don't actually care about their tenants or properties. Cannot recommend. read more

Adventure Property completed a signed legal lease agreement between their office and myself. However, when I was forced to move out due to lack of maintenance being provided, they broke they're contract in more ways than one. For the five months I was living in the property, I called more than ten times to complete work orders for maintenance. I was told that it was the owners job to fix things, not theirs. Although the lease clearly states they will be responsible for all repairs. The owner/manager of Adventure Property gave me an approval to move out of the property before my lease ending date due to the lack of maintenance. She stated that they had an agreement with the owner that he would do his own work and she apologized for the inconvenience. She also requested a letter from me stating all of my problems and reasoning for moving, she said that was all she needed to give me back my deposit. She continued to say that this was a common thing with that property and she was sorry for the trouble. After following her directions, I went to the office to drop off my keys and get instructions to get my deposit back. I was then told by an employee that they do not have my deposit that it was with the owner of the property, Jon. My lease clearly states they were the holder of my deposit, in which they are also who I made my deposit payment to. Also she told me to write that letter so she COULD give me my deposit back! My lease also clearly states that my agreement is between Adventure Property and myself, not the owner of the property. Adventure Property told me that it was my problem to hunt down the owner and get my deposit. When I asked how I was suppose to do that, they wrote the owners number down on a sticky note and said 'here you go'. After doing more research on the laws and my rights, I called to talk to Kim at the property management office to get my deposit. It resulted in her telling me to shut my mouth and that my deposit wasn't her problem. read more

Adventure Property Managment is who I go through here in nampa , as a tenant and I must say its one of the best company's I have ever worked with. I really appreciate how down to earth they and and how understanding are and empathetic they have been for me when "life happens" situations have occurred. Recently I was laid off out of the blue and my grandfather passed away. It was all at once and completely unexpected. All the ladies at the office were amazing and understanding. I really appreciate them for it. The other things I like is that they arent one of those company's that hang around all the time, like the ones that are constantly in your business. They respect your privacy at home and its a big change. If something needs done you just submit a request online and someone calls you shortly after to set up a time to come by, super simple and super easy, as well as paying online. Very lucky to have found them and recommend them to others. read more

I rented with adventure for two years, in that two years I never had any problems with the company. We recently moved out, they were 5 days past the 30 day law for having the deposit returned and naturally we called to check on it. We talked to Jessie once and she was great, today 07/10/2017 I called and talked to Lexi. Worst experience ever. She was so rude and nasty on the phone, despite me being so nice. When I asked if I could come pick up the deposit she said she said yes and hung up on me. When I went to pick it up I asked her why such a disrespectful attitude when I was so nice and did nothing wrong she said "because I told you the deposit was on my desk" obviously this makes no sense..... Worst attitude ever. I'm literally in shock. Like I said, I've been with this company for two years and never been late, never missed a payment, and never had any problems whatsoever, and I get treated like that! Unreal. For that I highly recommend finding a property management company that treats their loyal tenants with respect because you won't find that here!! read more

First off. I'm not sure what you people are smoking that think this is a great company. They are the most unprofessional company I've ever encountered. They do not care about the homeowner. All they care about is their money. They let renters absolutely trash the place and could care less. They will tell you all along that they are taking great care of the place. This is not so. We finally decided to put the house on the market. The first day we went in after the renters moved out was disgusting. We were told that their cleaning crew went in and it was ready to go. I'm not sure what their cleaning crew consists of, but I believe they probably have a hard time cleaning themselves. It was unbelievable how filthy the place was. The lawn hadn't been mowed since may. You can imagine how that looked. Also the renters must have thought they had their own personal dump in the backyard. I can not believe people can live like that. When we confronted the company. They told us. "Make an invoice for the work and repairs,and we will pay you." Well we did just that. Picked up a check today and it was not even a 1/4 of what they owe. I recommend highly to anyone with a home for rent to steer clear of this Crooked thieving company. read more
