The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had most of what we needed and everything was clean when we arrived (although we couldn't check in on time because the maid was there for 2 hours past the check in time). It's a great place to stay on the north shore with a couple of caveats. 1) It's right on the main road. Invest in earplugs. 2) There is a leak in the master bedroom, over the right side of the bed. The owner was aware of the leak before we moved in (end of August). He called it a "small leak." Every time it rained, there was a shower over the bed. I went through a ton of beach towels trying to keep things dry. I notified the owner that we would need this issue to be fixed, especially before my partner came out to join me when we would need both sides of the bed. Despite MANY texts and calls and promises, the roofers did not show up until mid-October. Watching what they were doing, I could tell they were not fixing the problem. I let the owner know. Sure enough, with the next rain the shower was back. I let the owner know. The roofers never came out again, and the owner never offered to make things right. Luckily, we got a dry spell for a while, but in December we had a massive storm and my partner had to choose between a wet mattress or the couch. Not cool. 3) I had trouble getting the owner to respond to my texts and calls about the leak. However, when I had my partner contact him, he responded right away. (I am female, my partner is male.) So if you want a response from the owner, maybe use a man's name? This place was mostly good to us, but I would not stay here again.

Literally everything is breaking in the house . Coffee maker, chairs, dining table, sofa...etc. Within the first 30 minutes in the house we had noticed over a dozen issues, most notably, not enough parking, no pack and play as advertised (so we have had a screaming baby doing their best to sleep on a bed), fridge doesn't make ice, as well as lack of air-conditioning in bedrooms. The house was burning hot when we arrived so no one slept the first night. They WILL NOT call you on the phone, they defer to bots, AI and texting to communicate. They promise to fix the issue and and then nothing happens. Extremely unprofessional and aggravating. We have children with us and it has been a nightmare, unfortunately. The property is beautiful, so it's a shame that all these issues bring this down to a one star.

They can have violent histories as well, even if they have money or property, and be a security risk to their clients, and they have access to their HOMES AND BEDROOMS. And just because you CAN raise the rent hundreds of dollars upon lease renewal on a long-time years long tenant (that long because they pay on time and are good tenants) and up to the "market rate," and just because it is good for the owners' pockets and yours, doesn't mean its best for OUR COMMUNITY/ COMMUNITIES.
