Beautiful pottery by local Artisans. I was welcomed in by one of the shops owners who promptly asked me if I was there for the Mayor's Birthday... Max is his name and he is a beautiful Golden Retriever, sadly I was unaware of such an occasion but it is duly noted for next year. Gorgeous mugs, bowls and plates are here. If you are like me and prefer one-of-a-kind service ware, make your way up the mountain and peruse their offerings. I got this neat garlic grater that is so beautiful just grate the Garlic and then pour the olive oil into the same dish Voilà your good to go! They also offer pottery classes here as well. One item I wanted to purchase but refrained was the candle that had the scent of rain after it's initial descent on the earth Petrichor - there were 2 choices one with pine forest scent and one with wild flowers... they come in lovely pottery urns (not very large). The campus, the food, the other students, and teachers and staff all leant to the overall spirit of the week, which was one of unity, respect and joy. There were curated lunch and evening lectures and music that also contributed to the richness and wealth of knowledge that I felt being shared. We took Trevor's charcuterie board workshop recently. Trevor's knowledge and enthusiasm shined…read morethrough almost immediately! He was knowledgeable on everything from how wood is grown, cut, and made into all sorts of items. He and his colleague were very generous with their time and knowledge. His workshop has plenty of stock and more than enough tools for the student. We came home with nice-looking, useable boards and gained a better appreciation of what goes into these hand-crafted works of art. If you're curious about woodworking and would like to get some great hands on experience I'd recommend taking one of his classes!

He works full time and has studied and had a lot of the same training as Debbie. This man is a hard worker, a devoted husband, and sometimes he is very tired and just might dose off. Spiritual art is an amazing tool to tapping into your unconscious mind and gifts. Yes, it is different than a traditional art class and this is why is is so fabulous. It enhanced my creative abilities, helped me through some challenging times, and I've gotten to know Debbie. She is very gifted, loving, and wise.

Participated in Debbie's class "Tune into your inner artist"…read more... AMAZING!! Wonderful class.....and no artistic ability required! After a brief meditation the class mindlessly painted to some wonderful music and enjoy Debbie's musings. When all the paint was spent, our works of art we read not only by Debbie, but other intuitive class members. The artwork created in my class was nothing short of miraculous. I'm in awe. I found the class relaxing and exciting. Just what I needed after a hectic week. Can't wait for the next class. I've told all my friends....and now you too!

Review - I planned this for my birthday and I had such a fun time. Davina really walks you through the steps in an easy to understand way and shows you how to do each step on her own canvas. It was totally fun and doable for my friends who are not generally crafting people! The studio has great decorations and ambiance, Davina gave us glasses, glow in the dark hair clip, and a hat to take home with us. The final painting is so pretty and glows in the dark. After I had my baby I noticed I had people in my circle that weren't going through the same things as me. Although they had kids, we weren't going through the same thing at the same time. This is when I decided to look for activities I could do with my baby. I was skeptical because as an introvert I was scared to go out with my newborn (he was 3 months at the time) But I'm glad I crossed paths with New mom school again. I signed up and went from Newborn class all the way to their last class of Rising toddler. Through the classes I met many wonderful mamas that were all going through the same things, we could relate in the milestones our babies were having. New mom school had many professionals come in and educate us on things like pelvic exercises, on how to have a safe car seat installed, and even things like how to establish a sleeping schedule for baby. Even though for some this information may sound like it was a no brainer. When you're sleep deprived and learning as you go, as a first time mom I appreciated every advice. I found a village that not only listened to me but they also gave me advice. I loved coming to this place once a week and see my baby grow, and I am sad to reach the end of it. I signed up for the Newborn Class and it gave me the chance to connect with other moms who have babies around the same age, which made such a difference in feeling less alone during those early months. It also really helped me get out of the house during those tough newborn trenches and feel more comfortable and confident driving around with my baby. It truly feels like a judgment-free zone where everyone is going through the same stage and genuinely understands what you're experiencing. The staff is amazing, and you can really tell they care. Vanessa, the instructor for the newborn class, and Megan, the Program Manager, were especially wonderful--so kind, patient, and incredibly supportive. They both created a comfortable space where no question felt silly, and their encouragement and support helped build my confidence as a new mom. By the end of the class, my baby and Vanessa were basically best friends--she helped me so many times when my baby was fussy and would even keep an eye on her if I needed a quick restroom break, which meant so much to me. I'm so grateful I found New Mom School and definitely recommend the classes to any new moms looking for guidance and a sense of community!

As first-time parents, Nicole's Childbirth and Beyond course gave us a lot of knowledge to prepare for the birth and caring for our baby. As a doula, Nicole is so calm and supportive. Leading up to the birth, she was informative and gave us lots of insight of our options. We felt informed about all the decisions going into the birth. She was also responsive about all the questions we had, even for late night texts! Going into the birth, we were afraid that we were dilated enough and the hospital would turn us away. Thankfully, she knew better than us and joined us for our birth right on time! Nicole was so calm and reassuring during the birth. Her solid presence was so appreciated during our birth. She also took photos of the birth, which we are so grateful for to be able to look back on for years to come. We HIGHLY recommend Nicole to anyone!!!
