Great hotel!!! We had such a great time here! Location is great if you are planning to visit adventureland. They offer free parking at the park to all hotel guests. There are 2 pools, one with a swim up bar. There is a sports bar and grill to have lunch or dinner at. It's pretty good and they will give you a coupon for it at the front desk. Rooms are spacious and nice. Bedding was comfortable and clean! We had a family suite and had plenty of space for the 4 of us. We had a great time and I would recommend this for anyone! Overpriced. $207 for 1 night. Life guards (safety monitors) were on their phones almost the whole time the kids were playing. The sheets were stained. The floor in the bathroom was peeling up and I tripped over it. There was someone else's hair on the wall. The corners and trimming of every room and door were peeling/dented. One of the ice machines was down, no one informed us but there's another one up the hall that was functioning. The A/C leaked a puddle over night on the floor and barely worked through the night. It's loud too. Also the pool bar was closed and emptied out due to a kid cutting their food and bleeding out all over the pool water on 9/22/23 so we were not able to use it. They did promptly email us and I realize this is out of their control but it was a bummer and we received no discount or anything. This place needs torn down and rebuilt. read more

I can't believe I paid $314 for one night stay in this place. Check-in isn't until 5:00 and pool is only open until 9:30. After being in the room for 45 minutes, I noticed it was hot in there and there was a leak coming from a vent in the ceiling. A maintenance man came and drained the condenser plate and said it should cool down. It never did. Our room was hot and humid the entire stay. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds of any hotel I have ever stayed at and the carpets were by far the nastiest I have ever seen. Also there are no locked entrances if safety is a concern. You also have people who have been over served at Adventureland and cops breaking up fights in the parking lot as well as witnessing drunk people getting into arguments in the hotel pool area. The room was dirty, there was no soap, no shower curtain, and no water pressure...it literally TRICKLED. The pull out sofa was torn up, broken, and unusable. The staff was friendly enough but not enough to make up for the ridiculous price for a rathole. read more

This hotel is old and expensive! Good Stuff: 1) The kids love the 2 pools and hot tubs. 2) The man who checked us in was super nice but was sadly retiring in a couple of days. Bad Stuff: 1) Our room was right outside and exit door so we couldn't use our outdoor space because there are constantly people smoking outside and that's all you'd inhale. 2) There was a high pitched cricket noise coming from the bathroom all. night. long. No lights were on and we couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from but it was super annoying. 3) No towels at the pool anymore so you have to remember to bring your own or grab one from your room and then your short when you take showers. 4) Breakfast buffet at connecting restaurant is now $15 for adults and $7 for kids. 5) The pool is full of hair 6) Carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced or stretched terribly! Watch your step! 7) Trolley broke down so they were using vans to transport people back and forth. They didn't hold near as many people so it was faster just to walk. The ONLY reason we stayed here is because of the pool but for $200+ a night we will definitely be going somewhere else if we return to Adventureland. read more

Terrible service, room is very dirty and falling apart. I've had trash piled outside my door for 24 hours now because room service hasn't been by in 4 days. The manager stopped by and said they only clean rooms every 3 days. When I explained this was our 4th day he argued insisting our first day doesn't count. Not sure why I have to pay for that day since it doesn't count. Not worth the money if they can not provide the basics of fresh towels and trash service. read more

This place is pretty cool. Multiple pool areas, with pool bars.. Nice hip looking lobby with crane machine I lost some money in.. Nice staff, super clean.. I was just in the pool areas for a kids bday party, but both areas were really well maintained and was a perfect spot for a kids bday.. They also have a shuttle to Adventureland, and at Christmas I have been here for Holiday Lights... Think family friendly.. This is not a place to stay if you are thinking of a QUIET romantic get away! There is no such thing and Quiet here but... Lots of FUN to be had! read more

First of all, I want to say that my family travels frequently throughout the year staying at a lot of hotels. We have stayed at Cedar Point and Six Flag resorts. Adventureland Inn is by far the most run down hotel we have stayed at. The carpet in the hallway's is disgusting with multiple stains (see picture). The hallway's are not vacuumed as well as the patio area outside of each room. DO NOT walk with bare feet because feel crunching beneath your feet. The walls have multiple stains on them. The room floors are stick tiles that are not mopped. TheThe furniture in the rooms have stains on them. The place is completely run down. Furthermore , the pool is only open until 9 O'clock And The life guards look miserable and spend most of the time on their phones. There were no towels in the pool area and when I asked a staff member for towels they said " sorry we are short staffed". It's unacceptable for a hotel to be this run down especially for one associated with a major theme park. read more

This is our first stay here. We decided to have a Sunday late afternoon early evening birthday party. We've come to Friday/Saturday night parties here and it's pretty packed. Booking via phone was smooth. Checking in was just like any other hotel. Gorgeous lobby! The front desk clerks were both very nice gentlemen with the ma'am using and courtesies. They gave me a floor map of the hotel and parking lot. We stayed pool side in the West Pool courtyard. This hotel serves its purpose. Pool, food, comfy beds. Could it use some updates? Probably the carpets. Overall the hotel is old, but it's not dirty. The pool isn't dirty, the property is well maintained, our room is spotless. My kids and their guests had a great time! (Did I mention there's an awesome arcade on the 2nd floor?!?!!) read more

As a Peace officer in another state, I have never seen such behavior from on site staffed security guards of a hotel. I would never recommend this place to any family. The security guards are unprofessional, strange toward children, and have I no mental capacity for what security is actually needed for. Do yourself a favor and stay at any of the numerous hotels just a few minutes away. read more

Just booked a stay for tonight for our son's 13th birthday and here I am at home, writing this review. After a group of children harassed our group of children, we confronted the kids (because this wasn't the first incident with this group) and then the parents proceeded to harass and threaten my wife. After these kids hit a couple of children in my group and their mother threatened to "bust my wife's head open" in front of the life guard, after talking to police about this incident, that group still wasn't asked to leave. We lost over an hour and a half of swim time because of this and decided to leave. The manager on duty did give us a full refund, however it could have been handled much better. Our son's birthday party was ruined. We had to load up a bunch of upset children and cut the party short because we no longer felt safe knowing a group that had committed and threatened violence against us was still welcome to stay. read more

This is a nice hotel to stay in of you are planning on going to Adventure Land. I stayed for 3 days and its a pretty decent hotel. The rooms were newly renovated but the hallways were still dated. It also had 2 pools and 1 with a swim up bar and each pool had a hot tub and both with a kid area. The hotel also had a arcade free Wifi and a gift shop. The hotel rooms feature 1-2 beds a mini fridge a coffee machine 2 sinks a safe a tv and a couch or a table with chairs. the hotel also includes a full restaurant and bar free parking and a shuttle to the Adventureland park. The shuttle comes around every 15 minutes. Also I would recommend either driving to the park or taking the shuttle. The walk is a lot farther then it looks. read more

We booked the Adventureland Inn through Expedia for 1 night. All they had left were suites at an outrageous price ($335 if you don't have an Adventureland pass), so we chose to do Expedia to save a little bit. We got the Family Balcony Suite. We checked in around 8 at the end of our day at Adventureland, and it was disgusting. We had a very tired 2 year old by the time we got to the room, we didn't ask to switch rooms because at that point he just wanted to go to sleep. Yellow stains on one bed, BLOOD stains on the other! Not little blood stains, either, a pretty good sized stain. Thank goodness we brought our own Pack-N-Play for our son, I would hate to see what a crib provided by the hotel would look like. Food and stains all over the curtains and lampshades, the material on the pull out couch had holes in it and full pieces of material missing, crumbs all over the floor, exposed broken pipes or something of some sort on the floor. One tv in the suite was not connected to cable, the tvs just have exposed wires hanging down connected to power strips. The mini fridge made a clicking noise every couple of minutes all night long, so loud that we could hear it over our child's sound machine that we brought along. The room was absolutely freezing and only dropped colder through the night despite turning the air up to 73, which leads me to believe that there were thermostat issues, especially being next to the pool where you would except humidity. The shower wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and the shower didn't drain so we were just in standing water while showering. And for the cherry on top, I saw mouse/rat poop behind one of the beds while checking for bed bugs (thankfully didn't see any of those). They really have some nerve calling themselves a resort, and this room a "suite". They have even more nerve charging the price they do. They take advantage because they're so close to the park, but they don't even offer the trolley/shuttle anymore to the park. The whole establishment is run down, dated, and dirty (despite them "remodeling"). Don't fall for the Adventureland Inn name just because you're going to Adventureland, just take the small drive and stay somewhere else! read more

We found pills on the floor of our room when we checked in. Staff is extremely rude, and unhelpful to any problems you may have. Straight out of the 80's that is what our room was like including the ashtray that was part of the toilet paper dispenser. The management should be ashamed to take the money that they are charging for these rooms. We paid $170 for the room and then another $20 for the spring break package which included a pizza, dipping dots, arcade tokens and pool entrance. That part was a reasonable value. The room was relatively clean besides the chip or cracker on the carpet. I didn't look to closely since I didn't want to be too grossed out. There was no social distancing and even though it stated on the doors that masks were required there were hardly any being worn. We couldn't get a chair by the pool until 7pm that night. They were clearly over capacity and during Covid times thats another issue. Bottom line it's not worth your hard earned dollars to get a room here. read more

If drunk clowns were designing a college dorm room, it would look like the Adventureland Inn. Booking this room online was a good reminder to pony up and pay the extra $30 for a name brand hotel. Checked in late, front desk person - full of self-loathing for have my to work there on the night shirt, no doubt - barely made eye contact and seemed ticked that I was there. "Breakfast starts at 8am" - huh, so much for an early start for the working world! Got to the room. It looked old and tired. Pulled back the cover to one of the queen beds, only to find that it had black hair scattered across the shreds. So, the room turned out to be old, tired AND hairy. I switched to the other bed, which appeared to be clean and was pretty comfortable (that's why I upgraded my review from one star to two stars) No iron or ironing board in the morning, so has to call for that. Walked down the creepy vacant hallways and out the side door never return. read more

The entire place is filthy and infested with bugs and giant spiders - size of a half dollar. Whatever you do - do not book this hotel. I am not a person to leave bad reviews but we checked in and left within ten minutes. I would have slept in tho street before sleeping here. I booked this hotel thinking about what a good time my grandbabies would have when they arrived. Pools, amusement park and an arcade - what could be more fun? The amusement park is ridiculous and almost no rides for smaller children and I would not let them step foot in this hotel. The only nice think I could say is that the night staff is very nice and friendly and accommodating. When we checked in at midnight the girl was nice and helpful. The air conditioner struggled with the indoor pool humidity, but eventually caught up to a comfortable level. For the price of a pool side room 189.00 we won't return. Not a good value for the price. My family and I staid at adventureland inn the weekend of the 4th of July 2022 the worst experience of our lives at a motel. The room was nasty bugs in the bed and on the table mold in the bathroom and the toilet didn't work called the front desk and they said they would send maintenance but they didn't come so I called back to the front desk to complain again then I finally just went up there and we'll nothing got done about the issues I will never stay there again. I paid $614 for a nasty freaking room . never again will I stay there ever. I would not recommend this place to anybody . I had 2 rooms and issues with both rooms. And if I'm paying almost $1000 to stay at a motel for 2 nights my rooms had better be nice and clean and no issues. We rented a cabana for a four hour block of time in the pool in January 2020. The pool where the small kids swim, was not very warm, but combined with the ambient temperature it was darn near freezing in there. I mentioned this to both a housekeeper and then the front desk upon exiting, and they both had a different story as to why the temperature was low. Also, the skylights over the pool were leaking water: which happened to be ice cold, of course. We learn from another patron the pool on the other side of the room's divide (they are divided by cabana rooms-- so in a completely separate area with its own temperature regulation, etc) was actually fairly warm, which it was: except our children are both under the age of three, and cannot swim so it made it a little more difficult to navigate the higher water. We will most likely just go to our gym's pool in the future, as for the above reasons we didn't really have a reason to return and again, the front desk staff seemed indifferent to our concerns. read more

this place has so much potential! please remodel the ENTIRE hotel/pool areas. the pools were filthy, carpets were dark brown, cockroaches in the swimming pool. bed sheets were stiff and scratch, felt like the bed had sand in the sheets. we have stayed here three times and this was by far the worst! read more

The food at spectators was great. And though staff was trying and polite, we had some negative experiences that were hardly even apologized for. The place was wrapping up construction we were told once we arrived, not upon calling to reserve room. Arrived at 445, check in is at 4 , had to call and see if room was ready, called another person and said it'll be just a min. The room keys didn't work even after coming back up front to tell them, and going back again, so after the second attempt (room was a long walk) a manager was called and met us there. Opened doors and said a brief sorry we just finished construction so they had to deep clean. one if so, the room was hardly clean for a "deep clean being performed. The next day I saw the cleaning lady sweeping crap from floor right out into hallway. And left there while we walked through on way outta hotel. It could be a very nice establishment and is a great place for kids on bdays. The arcade and spectators are fantastic! Hotel needs better cleaning procedures established. I'm a state traveler which I mentioned upon calling. And I hardly ever stay at places this haphazardly cleaned , for half the price. Just an FYI.. it's a good time, but plan to clean before you settle. The pools wreaked like chlorine so bad it burned my eyes outta my head lol. read more

I am going to go ahead and give you 4 stars. Its a GREAT place to stay, theres a shuttle that takes you right to the amusement park, indoor pool. Now my favorite part about Adventureland Inn is the pool... The pool is GREAT for kids and adults. There is a little bar here that you can sit at while you get your feet wet and keep your eyes on the kid/kids "depending on how much you've drank"... The location is GREAT. Its right next to ALOT of restaurants and also next to the casino "for those of you who enjoy gambling. I highly recommend coming here if your visiting the area with your family. read more

This place is awful. Seriously awful. Stay anywhere else! First off, the reservation specialist lied about the "suite" we booked. We were told it was 2 rooms. It was one room with 2 beds and a sofa sleeper. So myself, husband, daughter and her 2 grandparents all had to share 1 tiny room. For 3 days. They had nothing else available so we were stuck in this situation. Nightmare. The pool was horrible. People were throwing balls and hitting us. No one said anything. The children's pool was pooped in. One employee would come over and tell people not to get in the pool. Then he walked away. He would stay gone for around 5 to 10 minutes and then come back and tell the next group of kids in the pool to get out. Very unsanitary. Took around an hour to clean it up. The buffet was right out of Vegas Vacation. Disgusting food. Nearly inedible. We were warned by other guests to stay away from the meatballs because they tasted like dirt. The staff was rude. We took off our bands that you apparently have to wear every single day no matter how long you stay. When we checked in we were told we could get new ones every day. We went to get new ones and a very snotty girl said we couldn't take them off and if we did we would be charged for new ones. Paper bands?? Unbelievable. Terrible experience. Seriously, stay ANYWHERE else. read more

I think I would have given this place a 1 star rating if it wasn't for the fact that we really didn't have any problems with our room, the pool and that our kids had a good time. Upon check-in and heading the back "Convention" entrance I was feel like we were in a "Vacation" movie and was wondering if the beds were going to have slot for quarters. The outside of the hotel is a literal dump (see my photos). I did not feel safe when outside the hotel. Maybe it was all the homeless-like, what seemed to be drug attics, I mean employees that made the secondary entrance, the Convention entrance, so dodgy. Or maybe it was all the trash or feeling that you needed a tetanus shot just by entering the little shelter over the walkway as you enter the hotel. Needless to say I would not send my wife or kids out to the car. The rooms are OK. Beds are OK. The rooms smell of chlorine. The bathrooms are OK as well. If they don't do something soon to revitalize this place I can see it turning into a pay-by-the-hour time of hotel. If that doesn't give them enough incentive to start the renovations, especially when they're right next door and catering to those that are attending the family amusement park then I don't know what is. It's time to reinvest in your property Adventureland. read more

Go somewhere else. This place just isn't worth the price that they charge for a room. I'm only giving two stars because the room itself was large and clean w/good amenities. Otherwise I wish I could give them 0. First, the suite next door to ours was apparently having a party and the adults allowed their children to play out in the hallway. During the day I might not be bothered by this, but it was well past 10 pm and I was trying to keep my own children asleep in bed. They ran up and down the halls, screaming, banging on our door and others and no one seemed to be watching them at all. Continued well past midnight. I almost called downstairs when things seemed to grow quiet. Apparently my MIL in the room next door called down and complained. Around 2:30am the noise started back up with kids in the hallway once more, but it didn't last as long, but the halls were noisy all night long with people parading up and down them. Barely got any sleep. Even if it had been quiet I don't know if I could have slept well on the block of cement they called a bed. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to hotel bed, I know they aren't great quality, but this one was by far the worse I have ever slept on. My back was killing me in the morning! They don't have a continental breakfast and they want to charge you $9 per person to have breakfast. For the price you pay to stay there, you would think they would offer something, even if it was just fruit and dry cereal. We ended up eating at the Perkins across the street. Someone had puked on the stairs during the night and the staff didn't clean it up. They knew about it because they covered it with towels at first, then the towels were gone. It was several hours before anyone actually cleaned it up so the halls smelled like puke outside our door and we had to walk past the gross display every time we took the stairs. This hotel is one of the cleanest, kid friendly, staff friendly, places I've ever stayed at. We go to this location once a year and rent out 2 rooms right next to each other hassle free! This hotel has everything from 2 pools and a kiddie water park to a game room to a kid play room even to a restaurant and bar inside of it! And the pool area even has a water slide! And even at the pool they have a swim up bar for the adults. A SWIM UP BAR!?!? How cool is that!! I would totally recommend coming here with your family if you're expecting amazing service and everything you need and more in a hotel! read more
