This is the second time I've taken my bike to get worked on by Ryan, and both times he delivers!! I went this time to have Denali D7 Pro installed on my 2023 BMW R1250 GS, the installation was clean. He encountered a problem that most mechanic will give up immediately, but he dive deep and find a solution and make it work! His workmanship was incredible and he is willing to listen and gives you good advice on your bike. If you're looking for a good mechanic to work on your bike, look no further!

Ryan and his team are great. Called a couple weeks back to get quote for a new Royal Enfield Classic 350. The dealers are insane with their pricing, and thank god for independent shops like AdvMotoTech! Ryan quoted me a fair price and I finally reached the mileage where I needed to be checked/adjusted for the valves. Dropped it off in the morning, and later the same day, it was finished. They also re-aligned my rear swingarm/wheel and adjusted the chain. Will be going back and certainly will recommend to my riding friends and family. Ryan got a new shop puppy too, so look for him when you go in! Use with confidence. Great guys who I trust now with my bike.

I've been on Yelp for 9 years and I've written 3 reviews; clearly I don't do this often. However, my recent visit to AdvMotoTech is going to change that statistic. I was visiting the LA area from out of town and had a hard part failure on one of my bikes. One of the first things I did was search around on Yelp, which is how I found Ryan's shop. I gave him a quick call and he gave me an immediate, no-BS assessment: there's no telling what it could be, unless he opens it up and looks at it. I went ahead and had him take a look, and not only was he able to get it taken care of, he got it taken care of quickly in the middle of summer. Unfortunately I am physically too far from Ryan to make him my local shop, but anyone in the LA area should not hesitate and go directly here. You are in good hands, if not the best! At long last, I've found my new motorcycle mechanic. With gas prices what they are, I dusted off my trusty Suzuki VStorm and decided I'd better have it checked before taking it on the road for my daily commute. Ryan did an excellent job, and was great at communicating what he thought the bike needed, etc. His rates are reasonable, and the bike is now in great shape. Very pleased. Thanks Ryan!

I am a new rider and just purchased a 2016 Ducati Scrambler(private sale). Rear brakes weren't working properly. I contacted the shop and they got back to me within a couple hours. Brought it by the following day and the owner immediately noticed the chain needed to be serviced as well. He took care of both in about an hour. Extremely friendly, excellent service, even gave me some tips on what to look out for when servicing the bike. Will 100% be back!

AdvMotoTech is now my "GO TO motorcycle repair shop"! Reading the other great AdvMotoTech reviews here I decided to try them for repairs on my Triumph Bonneville SE. I had a stand-still tip over in my driveway. I was tired, (I blame being morning tired pre-coffee) and thought the kickstand was down, it wasn't. Arrrg!! At the time I only saw a slightly bent clutch lever and cosmetic damage to the left bar end mirror. But after riding it awhile the bent clutch lever was getting on my nerves and then the toe gear shift flew off. So I needed to get the bike checked out. I started looking for a new shop because I was frustrated with the dealer I had been going to. The dealer's service started declining and after the best service manager left, I could no longer even get the dealer's service dept on the phone. And the dealer's service Dept didn't return my emails either. So I'm grateful to find AdvMotoTech. I called Ryan on Tuesday about replacing a bent clutch lever and to fix the toe gear shift that came loose while riding. He suggested he look at the bike to determine which parts might need ordering before dropping the bike off, but only if convenient for me. I'm off work this week so it was. I rode over, he inspected and immediately fixed the toe gear shift. Saved me from ordering a new part. Once I was there I also asked him if my rear tire had any life left. I knew it was worn past the wear bar indicators. He said what I thought, that I needed a new rear tire. He said the front was still ok. So he ordered me a new clutch lever and rear tire. Said the parts should arrive the next day or two and I rode back home. I got a call from Ryan the next day that one part was in and the other should arrive Thursday. So I dropped of the bike Wednesday eve and just picked it up today - 2 days later. Voila! All fixed!! Ryan gave me incredible service. He treated me with respect and answered all my questions. He gave superb quick service and got me and my bike back safe on the road. And the shop is conveniently located in Glendale. AND he installed my new adjustable clutch lever at the setting my previous lever was set at. I have smaller hands so I appreciate this. I've had other shops install after market levers on my other bikes at a farther reach setting which probably matched the mechanic's big hands. Here, Ryan paid close attention to that detail on his own. Totally appreciated! Great shop! Have Ryan and his team at AdvMotoTech fix your bike. You'll be happy like I am.

This shop really is a hidden gem of Glendale and I'm so happy it's in my backyard. Found it by inquiring about something minor recently and Ryan is the easiest person to deal with. Extremely transparent, knowledgeable, and most important fair. Customer service is top notch, work quality is top notch, prices are beyond fair and reasonable. I love coming back here even for the smaller items, not once did I ever feel it wasn't "worth their time" to do any type of job on my bike. I doubt I'll ever use the dealers/different shop for anything motorcycle related ever again. I love this place!

We stopped at AdvMotoTech on our journey from Alaska to Argentina for full service and tire change and some repairs on our three bikes - CRF Africa Twin, KTM 1190 Superadventure, and Triumph Tiger 800 XcX. What a great idea that was! Ryan was superb. He did a great job on all the bikes in a short time at a reasonable price. And beyond that he had us all round for dinner with friends and family. You can't get better than that! You can trust your bike to a true enthusiast and be sure no corners will be cut. read more

I love cars and motorcycles but I can only drive them and shine them as I am mechanically handicapped. Over the years it has been incredibly difficult to find honest and capable mechanics. The guys at AdvMotoTech meet that criteria and then some. I have a 1983 Suzuki Tempter GR650 with just 3000 miles on it. It started leaking gas up in Napa and I had two local guys try to solve it and after several hundred dollars, still not fixed. I hauled it down to SoCal and decided to give Ryan a try. Within a few hours he had it diagnosed and it was fixed in no time. The bike runs like new and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. If you need motorcycle repair, these are your guys. read more

How often do you find extensive knowledge, technical skill, trustworthiness and complete geniality all in one mechanic? We're talking virtual unicorns here, right? If you're within 50 miles of these guys, look them up. You can't do better. And as you almost assuredly know, you can do a lot worse. PS: Check out their website. They offer a lot more than simply wrenching skillfully on your bike. Highly recommended. read more

This shop is a breath of fresh air! I've long been frustrated at outrageous dealer prices and overbooked schedules. This little Glendale shop has serviced my Vintage bike and my brand new, high-tech KTM. They specialize in KTM, BMW and adventure bikes but can handle anything on two wheels. The last time I was by there with a bike repair, he had a 1960's BMW airhead with a side car, a GSXR, a Ducati and a half dozen various adventure bikes being worked on. I've known Ryan for years and requested him as the only mechanic to touch my bike when he was at Honda of Hollywood BMW. Since that time, I've tried other shops and mechanics with mixed results, usually more problems than solutions. I recently took my BMW HP2 to Mambo Motorsports in Santa Clarita for some electrical issues. I believed it was a ground problem since many things occurred at once. Mambo estimated over $1000 to replace several individual components. I didn't believe that all these parts needed replacing. Then I learned that Ryan had opened a shop and I took my bike to him for a second opinion. He fixed everything at about half of the price that Mambo quoted and without all the parts they listed. I'm very happy to know there's a shop I can go to for competent and honest service. read more

Today I had a little issue with my bike and I was far away from my town. Close to my location was Advmoto Tech and visited for assistance in fixing my bike. My first visit to AdvMoto Tech was for new tires...everything went super smooth and I was totally impressed with my interactions with Ryan and Jake. Of course, that was for a relatively brief interaction and service need. This time around I needed the "full-service" for my 2015 Triumph Thruxton...it was the 12K mile service interval, which included pretty much everything. Scheduled a time with Ryan to get the work done. Once again AdvMoto Tech showed why this team is the team to work with...super thorough...detail oriented...kept me in the loop at every step. Just cannot say enough positives about my experience with Ryan and his team...professional, thorough, transparent...affordable...and the best part, in my opinion, is the personal touch...you feel like you really know your mechanics and service specialists...heck, if I had wanted to, I could have hung out to watch them work...that personable! Not sure I'm ready to play chess with them...but...HIGHLY recommend for your Motorcycle needs! read more

I've been a fan of Ryan's since about 4 years, first when he ran the Service Dept at New Century BMW, and now at his own shop, ADVMotoTech. At NCBMW, I was completely sold by Ryan's knowledge, reliability, honesty, fairness, and even creativity as he helped me out in some non-standard situations. When I found out that he had moved to his own shop I was immediately on it. Same story: just the best customer service combined with expert knowledge of BMW bikes (I have a K1200GT) - I called him after my bike started losing power, had a wrong exhaust note and exhaust odor. He diagnosed it over the phone: bad coil. Quick repair and back in business. Give him a call when you need help - Ryan is the best. read more

I've had a lot of bad luck as of late with shops that make me feel like I am asking a huge favor of them to repair my bike, rather than a customer. But these two brothers, who seem to work together very efficiently and lovingly, (I dont know that I could work every day with my brothers and not bonk heads) were both ultra communicative, fast and helpful. The only downside is that I'm just learning about them now. This isnt an upstart shop. Its been there for 20 years! Wish I'd known about them sooner, rather than taking my bike to grumpy biker places which made me feel like I was doing something wrong by asking to get my bike serviced, or charging me ridiculous prices to have the bike sit for days/weeks on end. I hope these guys are here for another 20 years, because I'll bring my bike(s) back here every time now!

I did look around at other shops and was quoted a few bucks less and in some even more so I would say that Matt's pricing is somewhat in the middle. Which I would say is more than fair because it's just him working on these bikes!

Ryan and Jake are the best. Five stars are not enough. They did an excellent job of replacing my tires and installing a new pair of mirrors on my BMW 1150RT. Technically they're very knowledgeable and they also have excellent customer service skills plus great prices. A great combination. I highly recommend to bring your motorcycles here.
