This shop is a total waste of time. I actually feel like an idiot for trying so hard to get my bike serviced there. About a month ago I called Casey's to take my Harley in for service. It has been sitting in the garage for a couple years and needs a mechanic to do his thing to get it running again. Casey's said they didn't have room to call back on Tuesday the following week. So I did. That Tuesday he said they didn't have room, to call back the following Tuesday. So I did. Same story. Then today I did it the FOURTH TIME and they gave me the same story... so I guess it is my fault for wasting 4 weeks of my life. But when I spoke to them last week I explained I would be taking time off work to deal with getting my bike towed in and they said OK - Tuesday works. But naturally, Tuesday actually does not work for them. Because AGAIN........ they have no room. I have no idea how this place is still in business when apparently (according to them) just 3 bikes sitting around waiting for customers to pick them up fills them to capacity. But clearly they have no respect for their customers time and have no idea how a schedule actually works. I know it is hard to find a reliable cycle shop - but avoid this one if you value your time. I can only imagine if this is how difficult it is to just get in the door what the actual service experience would be like. NO THANKS! read more

I took my 96 Harley Davidson collector's edition to get a clutch put in after I broke it trying to do it myself and these guys did and amazing job getting it all fixed and handing it back to me in tiptop shape, I really appreciate that! Took a month to even leave this review because I didn't want to relive this. Thinking about it makes me so angry that I kept putting it off. Didn't want to go all the way to the dealer to get my tires changed and this was the only shop nearby that has Harley's wheel and tire coverage. Had 3 nails in my tires. On the phone, the guy at Casey's (think his name was Pat) was very friendly and open, because I've been told I "sound white" and I'm pretty well spoken. When I got there and he saw me in person, he acted totally different. Quiet and withdrawn. It was the first time I've experienced racism like that since I lived in Florida. I looked past it and left my bike there. He said the insurance company probably wouldn't approve the rear tire because the tread was so low. I wasn't too worried about it. The next day he calls me and told me that the inspector came and denied me for both tires. He then said that he could change both for $600 or $650, and that he was giving me a deal. I called the insurance company and they said that Pat told them NOT to send anyone. He said that I told him that I wanted to pay for it all myself because I had an important trip and couldn't wait. I called the police because I already knew the type of guy Pat was and wouldnt put it past him to try some more scumbag stuff when I came to get my bike. Of course he denied everything. Just a warning. If you're not white, go somewhere else read more

My review of Casey's cycle. I had 12 custom Harleys and an Indian. I built them all. I had them a unit at Williams Motors. Joes engine area was in my unit. whoever that dude was it helped me today with my bike was so full of s***. like everyone during this pandemic my money's been tight and then screwed around by EDD I made that clear of these people and this jerk was trying to get me for like valve jobs heads and so we put two spark plugs in and charge me a hundred f****** dollars this jerk hadn't done anything on that bike I told him the float was sticking he goes oh that then he said it might be an intake leak that's easy to test for I asked him if the plugs were fouled he told me no they weren't fouled but then he charged me for plugs and said he put plugs in it but they weren't fouled he's a liar he didn't do anything in the bike they went started up it started running okay it was loud running a little s***** I was hoping they do a tune-up and just dial it in little bit and I got to tow it out of there that place is a rip off big time they write their own . read more

Owning an old Shovelhead and a limited budget, these guys are a life saver.

Seem like a good shop when I bought my bike there I was sold on the upgrade recommended before I would pick it up went from 2 weeks to a month even after I payed for it in full. Never a status or update on delay of work progress or even if it was begun. Picked up the bike anyway, told i would be notified about the "part" that was still to come never happened, called after another 2 months and was told the part was there already. To bring in the bike and it would just be two weeks. Hesitate but brought the bike in took 3 weeks and no work got done, or called that there was a delay or logistical issue. Then when I went to go pick up my bike I was told I could not have my cash back for another week and a half. On top of it all, I had to pay a restocking fee for parts they are ready had in hand. The whole job was paid in advance 3200 but I was "charged" 500 dollars in restocking fees when they had the parts at hand already. Sucks they do business like this when there's few shops now that work on Harley. What makes it worse is they didn't try to make up for anything just a lot of excuses and no results. Def consumer beware. Lesson learned! read more

Don't go to this place. I wish I could give it a negative 5 star review. I can't express it enough. I needed a tune-up on my v-rod so I figured I'd give them a shot and it was a very, very expensive mistake. I take it in, and the old guy is already looking down his nose at me and my bike "It's a sports bike," he says as he shoots a judgmental look. I get it, it's not old school, fine. He tells me the brakes need adjusting too so I allow him to do it. When I get the bike back, the brakes kinda popped if I hit the brakes quickly. I couldn't figure out why. As I was trying to pin it down a couple days later, the front brake locks up and high sides me. Oh yes, bike down. Ouch. So like an idiot, I took my bike back there to get it fixed from the fall. Just give me an estimate. A week later he calls back "Yeah, so I saw there's another part that got skinned up. You want me to just give you an estimate?" Ummm yes. "You want me to include the price of new tires in it too?" Whatever man just get me back my bike. That was a month ago, and no phone calls since. I figured I didn't need it while my arm was still busted, but there's no excuse. These guys wouldn't do a good job even if I left it there. First Yelp review too? Should've been a sign. The place is probably just a front for other activities anyway. read more

Early on with yelp, there have been complaints about Caseys. Usually from yupsters on newer bikes that are spoiled little punks. You guys need to know that this isn't the place for you, and I might as well just say it. Caseys is for men who work hard to keep their bikes going,usually the old iron and they have a ton of good used parts for that at great prices. This is one of the last great old tyme bikes shops in L.A., you panseys who want everything clean and nice and your way should just go to a dealership, you'll be much happier, really. Caseys has been in business since 1957, with a loyal customer base, myself included, been coming here since the late '70s. But there'e still a good hang to be had sitting at the counter and just listening in on the conversation. Out back, Sid knows Harleys better than any dealership. I've owned motorcycles my whole life. This was without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had at a motorcycle shop. I dropped off my Road King to have a few minor repairs done i.e. front brakes, rocker gasket, and a speed sensor. Two weeks later, they hadn't even touched the bike. I'm sorry, but that's totally unacceptable to me. I called several times to check on the status of the bike too. They continuously fed me excuse after excuse about Thanksgiving. Last time I checked Thanksgiving was only one day. I also have another bike (a cruiser) that I've taken to another shop for a couple years now. Even for a serious repair with multiple issues, they only took 5 days. I would gladly take them my Road King, but they don't accept Harleys. Let's not forget the fact that they act like they're doing you some sort of favor the whole time. Bottom line, if you've got money and time to waste, with no expectation of getting your bike back any time soon, feel free to go to this shop, but you won't catch me there! read more

I took my Harley to them for some repairs, since they seem to specialize in H-D service and repairs. They took too long to do the work, giving me excuses as to why it was taking so long. When I finally got my Harley back, I found later that some were not done as they should, requiring more work which I could not afford to pay for again, so my MC sits in my garage, not able to be riden. Their labor seems to be in a hobby category, rather than performed professionally. They do not stand behind their work as they should, hence my MC being garaged. read more

These guys know harleys. The chief mechanic sid is the man who can fix old and new iron. They've got a machine shop and a good stock of old and new parts. For us guys that like to ride old iron, the used parts racks are a goldmine. read more
