My brakes just stopped working, per another auto shop because the rotors were old and faulty, suggesting this place did not actually replace the rotors. Brakes are supposed to last more than 2 years.

They said it might be the auto start…read morethat was put on after buying the car but we told them that wasn't the problem since We had that removed then put back on by another mechanic since the alarm went after during that time. So that wasn't the issue. This mechanic still proceed to say that was the issue then took out the auto start and didn't put it back in after the alarm still went off with the auto start unplugged. We still payed for the first time and the second time since they said they'd put auto start back but didn't. They didn't listen. Didn't fix the problem and it was a waste of time and money for nothing to be done.

I made an appointment to get my battery replaced and was told there was no issue with the battery and that the alternator needed to be replaced. I gave the green light for that and then get a call that they need to replace the battery when that's why I brought it there in the first place?? not only that but whoever is answering the phones here thinks it's appropriate to hang up on customers when they ask for an explanation. DO NOT GO HERE unless you're getting EVERYTHING in writing. They will call you a liar when they're being dishonest.

It was still under warranty from Discount Tire, but the ONLY Discount Tires near me are in PA or NJ. Sob. I called, and they told me to order one from Tire Rack and they would reimburse me. I did not want a giant heavy tire delivery. My mother, my daughter, my son, and my cousin are all coming to visit soon. I cannot risk blowing a tire. Aieeeee. So I went to Yelp and read reviews, and ended up at Zima. I didn't have an appointment, and the place was very busy. So I got my book and read while I waited. The owner, a very nice man, told me to walk with him and he checked my tires. He remarked that I must not drive a lot. I said mostly to Riverhead, and in CO everything was within 10 minutes. He checked to see if he had a slightly used tire in stock. He did not, so had to order one. It's $305 for a new tire, including mounting. He's going to rotate the tires for $20. I didn't ask if he does price matching. I might have gotten a better price somewhere else, but I need this done. He said that he'll call me when the tire comes in, probably today. But I have to donate blood in Flanders, and he closes at 3 on Saturdays. So maybe Monday. I asked about an oil change, but they only do tires.
