Bizarre attitude problem from the people working behind the desk. Like I'm ruining their day by giving them work

Got my brakes replaced here two years ago, supposedly the front brakes and the rotors were replaced per my receipt. My brakes just stopped working, per another auto shop because the rotors were old and faulty, suggesting this place did not actually replace the rotors. Brakes are supposed to last more than 2 years. read more

This place is amazing! The very capable, well-experienced manager, Bobby, is wonderful! He has a great personality and makes a customer like me feel special. He is quick to diagnose a problem, and acts fast to order the needed parts and get the job done a.s.ap. especially with a dangerous situation. My husband and I both needed car servicing in the area. My inspection had expired and my husband's care made a funny sound. They fit us in right away. My inspection went well and Bob found the problem with my husband's car too and corrected it. The charges were extremely reasonable. I will definitely use them again. read more

Crooks. I went to this place for a simple NYS inspection. I didn't pass the inspection because they said my tires were damaged--only three year old tires since I've driven the car less than 20k because of the pandemic. They wanted to keep the car overnight to put on new tires. I refused the tires, paid for the oil change ($95 bucks--cheaper elsewhere) and got an inspection in NYC. My tires were fine. read more

This place is a rip-off shop. They charged me $500 for a state inspection and 2.5 lbs of 134a refrigerant for my AC. They never called with an estimate and had no explanation for the hiway robbery price. After much discussion they refunded $100 effectively admitting that they had overcharged me. i brought my car in for a quote for a new resonator (rusted apart) and labor. they called hours later saying that i needed a new resonator and exhaust (exhaust was done last June). I said how about just Resonator because it was so new & they quoted me 380$ before taxes. I denied and went to pick my car up. My whole exhaust system, & rusted resonator was sitting my my back seat all cut up. THEY DID NOT ASK TO DO SO, my couple month old exhaust system was now cut into 3 pieces... Terrible. Brought in my car for brakes. I was told I would get a phone call with an estimate. After the time it was scheduled for, with no phone call, I called. I was told your car is fixed it's $550. There was no call with an estimate, no explanation as to why extra work had been done without my authorization, no nothing. read more

Last year I thought I needed a new heater core and it turned out to be a $13 thermostat. Last week, it was a brake light that went on, but the fluid was not down and brakes were working ok, so I made an appointment for several days later. When the pedal got squishy, I stopped driving it and had it towed in. Friends and neighbors I spoke to all said it was probably the Master Cylinder and I feared a large unbudgeted expense. Turned out to be some minor part - and a $30. bill. Once again, Bill and his crew prove that honest and competent mechanics still exist! If you're a single woman with an older, high-mileage car, THIS shop will keep you running and never rip you off! read more

These guys are the best, they are not over promising anything and they know their job: my leaking brake line, replaced in less than 2 days where the Chevy dealership was not able to do it in 1 week! read more

The guy who owns the shop couldn't be more rude!! I was told this by multiple people. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Quoted me 550 for a job. Then called me to tell me it would be 800. I called twice to see if the car was done. Never said a word and then I showed up to get the car and the job was $1,200. Total jerk! Took days to get my car back. And he made comment that my car was a mess because there were items in the trunk that they had to remove to do some of the work. If you feel like being lied to and being treated like crap this is the shop for you! I would never go here again!! read more

You will not meet a more honest gentleman than Bill. My son had a quote for $1,700 from a nearby dealer, but they thought it would probably be more! My son's final cost to have his auto repaired $170. Need I say more! read more
