It was 9pm, dark and the car was un-drivable. I called AAA to tow me to a AAA recommended garage. After over 4 hours of waiting, AAA told me they had no driver available to tow me, and that I should call a private towing company. It was after 1am and I was quite nervous. I called Power Lift Automotive and the dispatcher, Rob, answered the phone. He was very reassuring and said that Justin, his driver, would be there within 45 minutes - and he was. I was still nervous because I had to pay cash and leave my car with Justin whilst I got a cab home. But both Rob and Justin reassured me that Justin would take photos of the AAA service station and of my keys being dropped into their drop box - and I received many photos and a texted receipt. Today I called to get a proper receipt to present to AAA for reimbursement and spoke to Andy the owner. What a pleasure to deal with such a pleasant, reliable and competent team of people who put their customers needs and well-being first. The first time was especially frustrating because they claimed the driver had arrived, when no one ever showed up. I was there waiting and never saw a tow truck or received proper communication from the driver. Then after hours of waiting, the tow was cancelled. State Farm tried dispatching them again, and once again I waited for hours just for them to cancel. Having car trouble is already stressful enough without a tow company repeatedly accepting a job they apparently cannot complete. If you cannot make it, just communicate that instead of leaving someone stranded for hours. After two separate incidents, I would not consider this company dependable at all.

The tow truck driver who answered was immediately rude and unprofessional. Due to the poor customer service, I decided to cancel the request. At that point, the representative became hostile, yelling profanities and directing racial slurs at me because of my accent. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the company. No customer should be subjected to harassment, discrimination, or verbal abuse for simply requesting an update or choosing to cancel a service. After I canceled the towing service due to unprofessional and delayed service, the situation escalated further. The representative continued to call me multiple times in what appeared to be a harassing and taunting manner. During this calls, he used extremely vulgar language and made repeated offensive racial insults targeting me because of my accent. the behavior was aggressive, abusive, and completely unprofessional.
