I promise this isn't a snooty film bro place. All movie lovers are welcome. Folks are friendly and I should stop being so shy and make more friends since I'm here so often! I would highly recommend a monthly membership as it comes with these perks once per month: ~2 tickets! ~Access to 1 monthly members only screening. Members get to vote on the movie pick each month based on an imaginative theme ~Fees waived if buying through SeeTickets ~Up to 15!!!! discounted tickets, 1 per showing Dreamland is considering expanding because it's become so popular! There are only 30ish seats inside, but that's part of what I like so much about it. The intimate underground feel. However, I would and will support them no matter where they go! If you sign up for emails you can contribute to surveys about its future, and be notified of the monthly schedule, including special events. During Pride their John Waters showings were so popular they had to move them to The Crest Theatre! Dreamland has also hosted local filmmakers for Q& As and film festivals! They often have movies I can't find anywhere else or have never heard of. Sometimes they show short films too. Coming up in October is a night of spooky horror shorts! Lots of incredibly cool stuff happening in my neighborhood and I'm so proud to support it! See you in October for something spooky? One last tip: check the schedule asap at the beginning of the month and buy tickets asap because they sell out fast!

The biggest issue was the party room setup. Unfortunately when we got there, the room wasn't ready. There were no plates, utensils, napkins, or juices set out for the kids, and it honestly felt like there wasn't an assigned attendant checking in on the room. My friend had actually chosen this location because she previously hosted another birthday party here for her older daughter and had an amazing experience with decorations and an attentive party host, so this visit felt very different from what she expected. Once it was time for the movie though, things definitely improved. Someone came in and took all the kids' snack orders, and the kids loved getting their popcorn and Slurpees. That part felt much smoother and more organized. I also appreciated how clean everything was. The restrooms and theater itself were very well maintained, which always stands out to me in busy movie theaters. The heated seats were also a nice touch. They weren't overly warm, but you could definitely feel a little heat on your back which made the theater feel extra cozy. Another plus was the drink selection. There were plenty of options for both kids and adults, which made everyone happy. Helpful tip: If you're booking a birthday party here, it might be worth confirming the party room setup details again the day of just to make sure everything is ready when you arrive. Overall, the actual movie experience was great, but the party room side unfortunately didn't feel as organized as expected this time around.

Who designed this place and thought, "Yes, this is comfortable"?…read more There isn't even a bathroom upstairs, which means constant trips up and down the stairs. At 34 weeks pregnant, that's not an inconvenient, it's torture. The seats are somehow even worse. They only recline halfway because there are bars behind every row. Had I known that before buying tickets, I would have stayed home. Spending hours trapped in a barely reclining seat while heavily pregnant is miserable. It feels like sitting in an old theater from the 90s that never got updated. Zero comfort. Zero consideration. My back hurts just thinking about it.

This time we saw Father Mother Sister Brother. 3 stories about family dynamics. It was a slow movie with great acting according to my husband, but no action. I'm more of an action kind of girl. My husband liked the movie so much that we went home and the next week he looked up other movies by the director and found one. He was thrilled and really enjoyed that one too. The seats could be more comfortable. It's an old theater with old seating so you can imagine that they are only so comfortable for so long and then your butt gets tired of sitting on them and then you get the wiggles. Parking is great. They share a private lot with the Tower Cafe. Movie times are ok. It's tough to get the right movie time so you can plan dinner at the Tower Cafe while they are still open and not get out of work till 5pm. This movie time was at 4:15 or so and we had to get our of work early to catch the movie. Our bosses were nice and they let us out early this time, but it's a challenge.

They also have different events where they will play throwbacks and classics, for example Studio Ghibli films or Stanley Kubrick movies for a week or two. It's not a big theatre, I believe they only have 3ish rooms playing movies. I love that so much hasn't changed and you absolutely feel the originality of this place. They sell popcorn, candy, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The prices are good and if you sign up for an Angelika account you can get discounts and free tickets. I would definitely recommend coming here at least once!

The parking at this spot is pretty good-it's located in a very large shopping center with so many businesses around so parking is ample-though if you come there on a Friday or Saturday night with an exciting release-it can get kinda hectic.Luckily when I go during the week, there is parking galore. Now for me,besides the fact that this is the closest theater for me,I also go here because I subscribe to their monthly Regal Unlimited plan. The plan cost $24.49 a month and with that I get unlimited movies every month at every Regal theater-I love this subscription-it truly motivates me to get to the movies often which I love doing already. Its an excellent value with the price of movies these days,if u just go 2x a month you practically break even-I tend to go a bit more than that, heck I saw 2 movies yesterday on my day off. Well all that being said-there is a slight downside to this theater and it's pretty big though it's never stopped me from going. This is a slightly older theater , so they don't have all the modern features that you get in some of the newer theaters. The big one being they don't have recliners in most screen rooms-just plain old regular seats-I must admit I've gotten a bit spoiled with the expectation of recliners in most their screening rooms these days at modern theaters. This theater does have a few designated screens that have been upgraded RPX or Screen X and those rooms have updated seats though not recliners but still very very comfy seats-I'd recommend those wholeheartedly. In closing-if u ever find yourself struggling with the high cost of going to the movies these days-I'd highly recommend trying out the Regal Unlimited plan at Regal theater and can recommend this spot in Natomas as a pretty good spot to enjoy the full movie experience. PS-I forgot to mention this theater does sell alcohol for those that are inclined to enjoy an adult beverage while watching a movie-See ya at the movies my friends.
