We decided to hire a Ghost Security offer to patrol + stay inside with us at our home from 6pm-6am for the first few nights. Having the officer there gave us peace of mind and comfort in our new environment and was worth it to help get over the emotional hurdle. The owner Josh is extremely professional, communicative, and was also very empathetic to our issue. The hourly rate is competitive and appreciated the detailed reports sent after each shift. Raymond later went back to the scene and noticed that the offender's car was gone as well as the note she had left on my dashboard. Raymond then waited until I was back at my car and explained to me everything that happened and told me that even though the original note on my dashboard was gone, he had taken down her license plate number and car model in his own notepad and gave the information to me so that I could contact the police. Without Raymond's extra initiative, I would have had to pay for all the damages myself. I don't think I've ever encountered security personnel with such great quality service. After waiting four days, I called again. I was told someone would call me back, and when they did, I was given information that directly contradicted what North Hollywood police had told me--that a police report would be sufficient. Instead, I was told I needed a separate police request. When I tried to explain the discrepancy and clarify my options, the representative cut me off and said, "Let me tell you where you have chosen not to listen," which immediately set the tone. He then claimed the cameras wouldn't be helpful due to their height and low resolution--again, the opposite of what Trader Joe's staff had told me, based on multiple recent incidents where license plates were successfully identified. As I continued asking reasonable questions, the conversation became increasingly hostile. I stated I would call back if needed, and he responded by saying I was not allowed to call again and that he would file harassment charges against me if I did, claiming it was because I had called "so many times." That is simply not true--my call log reflects that I called once, waited four days, and then called a second time. The lack of consistency, professionalism, and basic courtesy here is unacceptable. This was a straightforward request following a serious incident, and it was handled poorly from start to finish. I will say the property manager I spoke with separately was professional and helpful, but my experience with this security team was the opposite.

What made it worse was dealing with the person who says he's the owner, he was very rude, difficult to talk to, and came across as unnecessarily aggressive instead of trying to resolve things professionally, I also believe this is a one man operation which makes it a bit confusing and unprofessional when it comes to raise up a complaint, he answers the phone with an attitude and entitlement as he owns the entire facility. He believes that his actions are above the law. The biggest issue is the double standard. They're quick to call people out and try to enforce rules, but then they don't follow those same rules themselves. I've seen them park in the red zone while telling others not to, which makes no sense. The owner also parks his own car like he owns the whole place, taking up multiple spaces at a time without any consideration for anyone else. It's hard to respect rules being enforced when the people enforcing them don't follow them either. Overall, very disappointing experience and not the level of professionalism I would expect from a security company.
