I put a positive review on here almost three years ago when my system was new and I am just as satisfied with it as I was then. There has never been a fault in my camera setup in these three years. The reason I write again is that we replaced our laptop computers this year, and needed service to help set the software up. The company runs lean, and they do not have a normal "help desk" when you call, so you don't always get an answer or help immediately, but I still give them five stars because they care about your experience with this and they make up for it once you get their highly competent technician on your case. Joe set up the software on two computers in only a couple of minutes and it feels like these cameras are sturdy and will continue running through at least a few generations of computers. If I ever want more coverage or upgrades, I would stay with this service. read more

We're repeat customers over the past dozen years. Updated and added cameras 3 years ago. They were able to use the existing ethernet cable (power, sound, and video) from the original system install which saved money and install time too. But besides this savings and competitive reasonable price, I'm more impressed with the follow-up and continued assistance that we can get if we have a problem. Often the problem can be resolved by a quick phone call if necessary. We're not the most high-tech savvy customers so it's good to have someone that you can reliably contact if you have an issue. I'm not sure if the other security camera companies do the same, but this one I can guarantee does. I guess it all comes down to getting what you pay for. If you want a good quality system as well as possible routine follow up questions answered in a timely manner about the system, etc. then I would definitely recommend this company. I'm sure there's cheaper (less expensive) companies out there, but offer limited or no follow up support if you have questions, concerns or problems about your security camera system(s). So in summary, look no further if you're in the market for a good quality security camera system from a business who will troubleshoot/answer questions, repair/replace as needed long after the initial sell/install is completed (which is something you definitely do not want to overlook!!!). read more

We had Los Angeles Security Cameras install our system last week and so far so good! The team is excellent at communication, being up front with costs and timelines, and is very professional. They also are very detail oriented to ensure you get exactly what you envision while making sure it all makes sense from a security stand point. I really appreciated how respectful they were of the space as they brought booties or took off their shoes when entering the house. All in all, it was a great experience. I would use them again and am glad we found a company that we can rely on. The camera system once set up is fairly easy to operate. We opted for a monitor to show all the live feeds of the cameras around the house. But there is also an app and you can set up tripwire zones to get phone notifications as well. Joe walked me through this part and it took about 20 minutes over the phone. (It might take a little longer depending how proficient you are on the computer.) The footage is recorded 24/7 and the oldest footage gets recorded over. I am used to Blink cameras and these are way clearer and just miles ahead of the Blink system in quality and usability. Called these guys about installing some outdoor ethernet cable to set up POE cameras and they came by same day and knocked it out. Wasn't easy - they had to go up on the roof but they made it look clean and it worked out great. Excellent company, fair pricing and they know what they're doing. We had a fantastic experience working with Los Angeles Security Cameras. George was our first contact, and he set us up with a team to check out whey our system was acting funny. We met Danny - the fantastic tech/installer who within an hour diagnosed our issue - antiquated and cheap Coaxial cables laid across the roof of the home, exposing it to the elements, causing a failure of the line. He explained to us the options for what we could do - and after deciding on the package, we had Danny and Louis out 3 days later for the installation. These boys were fantastic. Approachable, informative, and very knowledgable. They worked fast, and hard, completing the 5 camera installation in about 6-7 hours. On top of that, they took it upon themselves to disassemble the old storage unit, and transfer the 2 TB of storage into the new unit, rather than trashing it! Simply outstanding. Overall, the prices were very comparable to other companies, but they had a very hands-on approach, with lots of interaction/phone calls, and walked us through step by step what the process would entail. George manages the intake/logistics, Joe is the IT master, and Danny/Louis were our guys for the on-site installation.
