He is very knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to skate fitting. I really appreciated David's explanation of all the steps of getting the perfect fit for my boot. Between the heat molding, punching, and modifications he made to my skates, it really was so worth it. (Just be prepared to be in the shop for a good chunk of time!) Today I skated for the first time with the new boots and blades and the sharpening was absolutely perfect, I have never glided like I did today. At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. Called around to a few stores to see if they had our size. Luckily 5 Stride had our sizes. Yay. We quickly hopped on CitiBikes and rode over. We did not have an appointment but were lucky enough to be serviced immediately with 0 wait time. We tried a few brands before deciding to on our purchase. We took FOREVER to decide brand and color of wheels and laces. Paco (staff) was patient and helpful in making sure we got everything we asked for.
