They made a Don Mattingly jersey for me about 25 years ago, and this year I came across some blanks and Googled "embroidery shop Brooklyn McCarren Park." When BQ Sports popped up, it was like a time warp walking back in -- the shop looks exactly how I left it in 2000, in the best nostalgic way possible. This place is super authentic, super old-school, and still delivering top-tier quality in 2025. The blanks are quality, the varsity jackets are quality, and the embroidery is perfection. I brought in a blank Reebok Pro Line jersey and had it customized into an Amani Toomer -- it literally looks like I pulled it off the rack in 1999. Couldn't ask for anything better. End of the day: their work is amazing, the turnaround time is solid, and their craftsmanship is unmatched. I picked up a few more blanks and George is already lined up to customize them ASAP. I'll keep coming here as long as those doors are open. And ignore the negative comments -- Kathy is a busy woman, yes she's on her phone, but she ALWAYS takes care of her customers. I said I only needed to update a couple of items and the others I didn't need and they insisted I had to buy a whole AND pay a late fee. They failed to tell me that they were no longer working with the team and that they didn't get any other orders from any teammates this year. When the uniforms arrived it was something that we hadn't used in too years. When I brought this up to them they said they hadn't done anything wrong and refused to let me return any of the items, even unused ones that could be used by other people, that didn't have names or anything else. I asked my teammates and this isn't the first time they took order for the team after the relationship had already ended. DO NOT GO TO THESE GUYS. SUPER DISHONEST.

Staff didn't really interact with us (maybe they knew we're too poor to buy anything) but I didn't mind the opportunity to look around in peace and give my eyebrows a workout with each price tag I flipped over. The Sale rack was laughable in both the discount and the paltry selection of items available, but you better believe I looked at it anyway! We were welcomed by the staff and they told us there was an elevator with a kid section which was nice to see because I have a newborn son and a 6 year old daughter. However, we decided to get two sundresses instead that were amazing quality and so nice. The store is so nice and well decorated.
