I love the coffee and the breakfast eats! The only suggestion I offer is to have a more efficient way to handle both in the morning. One staff member can easily take 5 minutes per customer if a food order is made. Don't get me wrong, I love that the food is made on site, but the process needs to be sped up. I saw a line of 6 customers happen as I was waiting for a bagel and cream cheese. I started to feel bad for ordering food. read more

A fantastic edition to Dubois. Located in the old Bank, downtown and it's so adorable inside. I love how they use the old vault as a little gift shop. Nice tables to sit and enjoy the food and beverages available. I'm not even a big coffee drinker and I love their coffees. I'm not afraid to try new things and flavors here. Everything I've gotten here has been delicious and enjoyable. I prefer them very much over dunkin or starbucks in quality of coffee and flavors. The coffee helps warm my soul. Their teas are refreshing and do not disappoint. Their food is fresh and have never been disappointed. I have never ordered something here I didn't enjoy. Delicious iced latte (whole milk, coffee flavored (no syrup)). Smooth and delicious with no burnt or bitterness. So good I got a second one after checking out the dinosaurs and train cars. The depot building is beautiful and the bathroom was actually lovely. Friendly service. The only thing I would add would be a changing table and hooks for coats/bags in the bathroom. The nitro cold brew was super tasty. I also got a regular black cold brew but I think they put French vanilla flavoring in it in accident because it was so sweet. Should have tried my drink before I left! Anyways, it was still a good place and had tasty things. read more

If you are traveling I80 and need good coffee and a sandwich, this cafe is worth the extra few minutes off the highway. Personable and welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere, excellent lattes, breakfast sandwich, chicken salad sandwich. They also sell various teabags whose sales benefits benefit Veterans and a nice selection of coffee beans for purchase. Aegis is in downtown Dubois - quaint area with a local candy store and small businesses/shops. We didn't have time to browse but will stop there again when our schedule isn't so tight. read more

I was driving through Pennsylvania and looking for a good place to stop for coffee. This place is definitely worth the trip! It's beautiful inside and has really cool vibes for a coffee shop. There was a bridal shower happening and it seemed like the perfect location. The actual coffee is AMAZING. I got a vanilla lavender latte and my boyfriend got the nitro cold brew. Both were delicious and made perfectly. The nitro was extremely smooth and flavorful. I would definitely recommend to any coffee drinkers and coffee shop lovers. This place is awesome! read more

I've been going to Aegis since they opened & this is my first time at their new location. Still outstanding service, great food, and awesome drinks!! Today I came on a little brunch date and had a good time. I got a Caprese Panini (which I always get) and a French vanilla soy latte. My boyfriend got a bagel and a Carmel latte. Yum on all parts! The atmosphere is also super rad. Makes me feel like I'm in the city. I love the old bank aesthetic. It's a really warm feeling place, makes me excited for another visit to DuBois in the future! read more

The coffee is very bitter. The help is also bitter when asked what the one sweet is the answer was a nasty 'read the list'. Immature children working with a bad and condescending attitude. I also want a printed receipt which I was denied. I will be contacting the state as a written receipt cannot be denied for any business transaction. read more

This is a lovely little coffee place, and as a student with an unhealthy addiction to caffeine, this means a lot. I've been to a ton of coffee shops in my day, but this one has all of the perks I look for in a go-to. Not only is it reasonably priced (not more than Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts), but it also has a wide selection of drinks and lunch (if you're hungry). I come up here in the summers and I definitely see myself making this place a regular. The new location is freaking COOL. It used to be an old bank and it's really aesthetically pleasing. This place also supports the country and active duty military, which means a lot specifically for my family. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

Driving from Boston, to Detroit, we were looking for a caffeine fix and not willing to drink Dunkin or from a gas station. My husband found this place - a few minutes out of the way but well worth it! I got a triple Americana and it was so smooth. And my husbands regular coffee was really good. They make the best chai tea latte I have ever tasted. Very nice toasted sandwiches and paninis also. Decor is a bit to dark, walls tables, chairs, all are brown.
