Began to experience sciatica pain for little over a month. I initially tried a chiro to first realign myself but after that, the pain still lingered. After doing a yelp search I found Aeon and called to make sure he took my insurance. Scheduling was very efficient and luckily I got to be seen the next day. Dr. Hou was friendly and confident that I would be pain free after this first visit of acupuncture. With his knowledge and experience, he was able to figure out my past ailments just by examining my back. He had excellent bedside manners in explaining and warning me when each needle would give a deeper sensation than others. He also incorporates Qi energy into his practice. I left feeling very taken care of, that Dr. Hou is an expert and actually cares about your well being and that he loves what he does. I would have to say that he was right and all it took was just one visit. Mind you it was a mild case and I did not take too long before seeking treatment. If you are experiencing pain, I would not wait any long nor hesitate to see Dr. Hou and try acupuncture. I still keep up with core exercises daily to prevent any future back problems. I absolutely love the new Aeon Acupuncture Wellness Center. The waiting area it is so relaxing, the colors are soft, and along with aromatherapy oils the energy is blissful and so very pleasing to be in. I had no actual pain, so I thought, but I have a hard time hearing out of one ear and I had been sitting for three days at a seminar before getting there. During the treatment I felt my self go into deep relaxation and felt the change in my organs during the acupuncture. I am new to the treatment so I had no idea what to expect. I could feel the energy in my body shifting around but because I was lying still I was not sure of what think but to relax into it. It was extremely peaceful. When the treatment was done and I got up it was like I shook off the old stiff body shape and enjoyed the feel of the new energy body I had received with out an aggressive massage or chiropractic adjustment. The combination of Qi Therapy and Acupuncture is amazing!
